A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

ooh, trouble used the word "sexuality", and it wasn't a reference to the billy bragg song! and wow, such a pretty song by annemarie (i can see r.e.m. using this title, back in 1983,84, but shouldn't annemarie have titled it "email never sent"?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50am

  10:58am
pierre:

@ Trouble : I guess it's true :) I hope i didn't sound offended or something…

the thing is that we have the word "gauloiseries" for such topics of conversation. But there are very easily shocked, and stuck people here as well, therefore i think "gauloiseries" helps us to keep an open mind when it comes to sex. I don't disaprove of this idea.
  11:00am
pierre:

OOh and joyeux anniversaire to DJ ICEPACK !
  11:02am
Ken:

Im looking for any listeners not located in the USA to be part of the FMU documentary film - if you can shoot a simple video of yourself and your love of WFMU, shoot me an email to ken at wfmu dot org - Pierre, Bas, Fred, Im talking to you!

  11:03am
Sam:

Damn, I just moved back to the US...
  11:04am
Titus in GA:

'My little bundle of DJ.' That's the quote of the day.
  11:04am
Jennique:

Trouble - better start feeding DJ Icepack nicotine and caffeine. Stunt the growth!

Side note: LOVED smoking Gauloises back in the day. Can't get 'em here in the U.S. anymore, which I suppose is a good thing for me.
  11:04am
Sam:

Is that the mothering instinct, to just bake constantly?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09am
