Just kidding with that one. Thought you'd appreciate the "Odd Couple" reference. Having WFMU back on the air magnifies how bad terrestrial radio is in my area.

12:21pm Ripped from the Radio Headlines:

Neil Young’s “Psychedelic Pill” Album Challenges Rock Programmers.

In an era marked by short-term attention spans and tightly-controlled playlists, the recently released Reprise album by the legendary Neil Young and his backup band Crazy Horse is proving to be a very large pill for historically astute rock radio programmers to swallow. The two-disc 90-minute set does not have any easy-to-play short tracks; they are all quite extensive even by “old days” standards – yet there is a significant interest on the part of rock music aficionados in hearing the collection, especially in light of the album’s mostly positive reviews. The engineers at Reprise Records have labored over the daunting task of creating an acceptable 4:28 edit of the 16:21 track “Walk Like a Giant,” however programmers tell RadioInfo that “Twisted Road” has some of the best lyrics Neil ever penned and has been getting most of the airplay.
  12:24pm SmokinJ:

  12:34pm Listening Out There:
