  3:48pm das:

You have a different set of priorities, I can appreciate that. It still hurts though.
  3:48pm joe voltage:

Hey Kurt. If Bryce is still around tell him that Karuna Khyal Alomoni 1985 has been reissued on vinyl.
Avatar 3:50pm bryce:

oh shit that's great!
  3:54pm joe voltage:

The record label is phoenix records. They also reissued the brast burn lp which I think is somewhere relasted to the previous.

  4:35pm northguineahills:

  4:41pm Jaca Pwal Adamu:

  5:08pm northguineahills:

Posting yet another resume. If nothing comes by next month, I'll have to start looking outside of NYC/north Jersey area...
  5:09pm hamburger:

it's a lottery ngh
  5:16pm northguineahills:

yeah, the gf gave back the ring b/c of the length of myself not having a full-time job.
  5:16pm Minnesota Jeff:

Hello New Jersey / World!
  5:20pm hamburger:

Hello MJ GIF supremo!
  5:20pm Cecile:

oh, bummer, ngh. I'm sorry.
  5:24pm northguineahills:

It's only been 5 years, and we still live together. I suppose it's implicit if I find employment anywhere w/in the next few months the status quo will return.
  5:29pm northguineahills:

If you've haven't, Graham Lock's book about Anthony Braxton's UK tour in the early 80s (w/ Crisspell, Hemingway, Atchul), is a thoroughly a great read. I highly recommend it.
  5:30pm hamburger:

fingers crossed ngh
  5:33pm Minnesota Jeff:

Hello hamburger!
  5:37pm northguineahills:

I'm in the same boat w/ james Ilgenfritz, I went from BIIMen to SY Dirty. (I was a late bloomer when it came to music).
  5:41pm Cecile:

I remember going "whuh?" I was way old by that time and it was weird seeing a lot of the bands I followed on MTV after they'd been around for a long time.
  5:45pm Carmichael:

What kind of work do you do, NGH? Although at this point, you're probably broadening your scope.
  5:48pm northguineahills:

I'm a geographer (GIS Analyst/Location Intelligence Consultant). NYC jobs also want me to be a code monkey (which I haven't done in 10 years). There are plenty of jobs outside NYC, So, it looks like I'll have to relocate.
  5:50pm Cecile:

Lots of people need GIS in the midwest.
  5:52pm northguineahills:

The only problem about relocating is I don't have a car, and my savings minus my 401k is exhausted. (making it harder to purchase a vehicle)
  5:53pm northguineahills:

FL, DC, TX, and CO have the most jobs in my field.
  5:58pm Carmichael:

Take a good look at the public sector, if you haven't already. Lots of government agencies are electronifying themselves these days.
  5:59pm northguineahills:

Thanks, Kurt. See you next week!
  6:00pm northguineahills:

I've worked at multiple departments for NYC and also the Federal gov't.
  6:14pm Cecile:

yes, public sector can use GIS.
