Great show so far.
  3:06pm

That Streisand track was the most excruciating slushy drivel I've ever heard. This week. Maybe.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes. I dig the Chinese sounds.
  3:07pm
glown:

  3:12pm
green mountain man mark:

Don't know if this is exactly Chinese, but whenever I hear Chinese music like in a restaurant it always sounds to me like they are doing I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause.

green mountain man mark:

@Cecile-Yes. That animation is one of the best in my book. Doesn't "outdone yourself" sound funny? I mean the kind of funny when you really think about words and phrases. Like hurt yourself. Why would anyone want to do that? Or outdo themselves? Funny language.

I would like to set this great new Minnesota Jeff animation as my screen saver for awhile. Is that ok? It is just incredible!
  3:36pm
hubba:

Hey Cecile, how you doing, are you familiar with an artist named Robust Worlds?
  3:38pm

The gf and I had a polka party last weekend, we danced our arses off! (until the record was over) (thanks to our friend who is moving and giving away her recs).

What a great set, Kurt
  3:45pm
hubba:

It is this guy Chris Rose, he used to be in a band called Vampire Hands. I was just curious if that name rang a bell since he is from the Twin Cities.
  3:47pm
Cecile:

Ha! I know where I know that name from. My mailbox this AM. Destijl is putting out their next record and I am on their mailing list.

  4:17pm
green mountain man mark:

So far the show is making me think of those hearing tests we did in school. Where you raise your right or left hand depending on where you thought the sound was coming at you from. But this time the sounds are stimulating some other sense and I am left wondering what the heck do I raise to let know I know that I got it. Maybe I should just raise my whole being. Or just my heart. Mine.
  4:25pm
specksnyder:

Some wonderful skronk for a Friday afternoon.
