Just dropped friend at Newark Airport at 3:20 a.m. and caught your show on the turnpike, but lost it as I approached home (Princeton, S.Brunswick area). Absolutely love the music you play. Hard to fall asleep driving while Public Image is on. Thank you for a great show. I will be streaming this station live from now on. :)
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 4:19am Julie:

Thanks irene! and good friend airport ride at that hour! Wow!

  Thu. 9/20/12 4:31am Marmalade Kitty:

I've been keeping hours with the vampires.. o.O
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 4:35am Julie:

That's not normal for you, Kitty?
  Thu. 9/20/12 4:42am Luke:

I have been keeping odd hours myself, Kitty. I read The Shining and got spooked by it. I am 25 years old now, I should really be a bit more logical.
  Thu. 9/20/12 4:42am pierre:

It's not often that I say that, but I really have a love/hate relation with This song of the Beatles.
  Thu. 9/20/12 4:44am Sometimes Jasmine:

Morning Julie. Tuned in from Joy Division and it's been a pretty much perfect set al the way. Ta.
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 4:46am Julie:

Morning, Jasmine! @Pierre does the Cohen help the nasty Eleanor taste for you?
  Thu. 9/20/12 4:46am hamburger:

d'yaw cheer up len!
  Thu. 9/20/12 4:47am Marmalade Kitty:

It was raining hard yesterday, instantaneously like buckets! I was cycling through a busy street at the time, when a woman ran out in front of me, presumably hurrying to take cover from the rain. She was pretty much unscathed, but me, I went ass over tit in a spectacular somersault over the handle bars! I followed through with a decent landing, though, lucky (or not really..?) Totally soaked! today I have whiplash, but few obvious bruises..!!!
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 4:51am Julie:

ohhh no you poor thing! going without your famous blue raincoat (and armor)
  Thu. 9/20/12 4:52am hamburger:

  Thu. 9/20/12 4:54am pierre:

@julie: this is exactly what I was going to say, the Cohen helped like a balm after Eleanor Rigby.
  Thu. 9/20/12 4:58am pierre:

  Thu. 9/20/12 5:01am Marmalade Kitty:

the old slow motion accident experience kicked in!
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 5:07am Julie:

Thu. 9/20/12 5:12am Matt from Springfield:

Howdy Julie! Good mornin' everyone!

Thu. 9/20/12 5:14am Matt from Springfield:

OH yeah!! Obscure old Elton!
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 5:15am Julie:

this song always hooked me from the record
Thu. 9/20/12 5:17am Matt from Springfield:

@Kitty: Hope you're not too sore today! I once flew over my handlebars when I was a kid while going down a hill--it proved the value of my helmet to me! But also scrapped up my knees and arms.

@Julie: Those drums really hook you in!
Thu. 9/20/12 5:18am Matt from Springfield:

Fine piece of Klassic Kate!
  Thu. 9/20/12 5:21am Marmalade Kitty:

Good morning! (quick head count) are we all here..? :)
Thu. 9/20/12 5:23am Matt from Springfield:

Also compelling FBR discussion--turns out that "going Clear" (capital) is a Scientology term; one can never know, those people have their own language within English. I had guessed the other man in the song was on drugs, and planned to get clean--or "clear", it fit the context anyway.
Thu. 9/20/12 5:26am Matt from Springfield:

@Kitty: At least over the whole program, we've all gotten our tickets stamped! Except VON HELSING! Whither is he today??

I was thrilled to see COALHARD stop by recently! He was a fun IR-regular on several late night playlists!
  Thu. 9/20/12 5:27am Orvan Taurus:

I can't hear this and not think of the parody 'Sounds of Sinus'
  Thu. 9/20/12 5:28am Marmalade Kitty:

yeah coalhard! I noticed tht.
  Thu. 9/20/12 5:28am pierre:

ok, as for "The Sound of Silence" it's a love/love relationship.
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 5:29am Julie:

  Thu. 9/20/12 5:29am Orvan Taurus:

Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 5:30am Julie:

Thu. 9/20/12 5:34am Matt from Springfield:

Wow, is Paul Hyde the Payolas singer?
  Thu. 9/20/12 5:34am Marmalade Kitty:

Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 5:38am Julie:

@Matt last few albums they were "Paul Hyde and Payolas"
Thu. 9/20/12 5:38am Matt from Springfield:

Lovely Mazzy. Someone said how since 2012 is the end of the world, it has drawn all these artists out of obscurity, explaining all these new releases by long-dormant bands!

@Julie: I *really* think so!!
  Thu. 9/20/12 5:39am Marmalade Kitty:

it's late.. ?
Avatar Thu. 9/20/12 5:44am Julie:

new mazzy???
  Thu. 9/20/12 5:44am Marmalade Kitty:
