Evening, everyone.
  9:01pm
Dave:

Good Evening, Dave

Hi Dave.
  9:02pm
Dave E.:

Forgot my "Letter"
  9:02pm
HAL:

I'm getting confused here.
  9:02pm
Bloopy:

sick vibe
  9:03pm
Dave E.:

What have you in store for us tonight?
  9:03pm
Dave E.:

Too many Dave's - wasn't that a Dr. Suess story?
  9:06pm
Ian Mays:

Good Evening!
  9:07pm
Dave E.:

This is a neat tune . . . lots of sounds to digest.
Avatar 9:11pm
Dave M.:

No idea what I have in store. I've got a bunch of music here with me, but I never really know what I'm going to play more than a few minutes ahead. I think I have a lot of spacey stuff like this with me tonight, though.
  9:12pm
HAL:

Echoey!
Avatar 9:13pm
Dave M.:

Yeah, lots of echo.
  9:21pm
Bloopy:

i hope some pseudo echo
  9:54pm
Ike:

This is all really excellent so far. Big spicy aubergines to you, sir.
Avatar 9:56pm
Dave M.:

Thanks, Ike. I am a bit hungry...
  10:00pm
dave:

that moebius+tietchens thing was awesome.
Avatar 10:02pm
Dave M.:

Yeah, agreed. It's a really good CD. Do we have yet another Dave here?
Avatar 10:03pm
Dave M.:

That's OK. There's room for plenty more Daves.
  10:04pm
Ike:

Was that blast of static part of the track, or did 91.1 go off the air for a few seconds? (You often can't tell with WFMU! Heh.)
  10:04pm
Droll:

Dave, man, open up!
Dave?
Dave!
Dave's not here, man.
Avatar 10:05pm
Dave M.:

@Ike: Probably the track. I think our signal is OK.
Avatar 10:06pm
Dave M.:

@Droll: Wow, Cheech & Chong. Haven't heard them in years. That routine was their (stoned) "Who's on First?"
  10:12pm
Droll:

For reasons too complicated to explain here, I was listening to Basketball Jones the other week. George Harrison, Carole King, Klaus Voormann, Jim Keltner, Billy Preston, Darlene Love & Ronnie Spector all perform on it. And despite all that, "Love Jones" by Brighter Side of Darkness, which the song spoofs, is even better!
  10:14pm
Droll:

. o O ( Don't get me started on the song leading into Earache My Eye with Gaye Delorme )
  10:25pm
PB:

This Guess Who track sounds like some really lame British Invasion stuff circa 1964/65.
Avatar 10:29pm
Dave M.:

It's a little later, and American (Buffalo Springfield)/Canadian (Guess Who). I think it's a nice song, but to each his own. If you're a noise fan, it might not be for you.
  10:31pm
PB:

Dave, I was just kidding. As an expatriate Canadian I never miss an opportunity to knock Canadian music (the vast majority of which is horrible).
Avatar 10:38pm
Dave M.:

C'mon, what about "Undun"? (Also the Guess Who.) A masterpiece!
  10:39pm
dave:

i'm going to be the dave who just occasionally pops up to say things are awesome. which this annabelle playe piece is.
  11:14pm
Snortley:

91.1 transmitter seems to be intermittent; maybe due to the storms.
Avatar 11:15pm
Dave M.:

OK, thanks. We'll look into it...
  11:34pm
marc:

yes, no signal on 91.1
  11:37pm
Droll:

Great Moments on World of Echo: Transmitter breaks, listeners first take notice only after legal ID is skipped.
Avatar 11:38pm
Dave M.:

Yup, just confirmed it, thanks. Our internet signal is fine, and the WMFU (90.1) signal is fine. Power was knocked out at the 91.1 transmitter. Updates to come...
  11:59pm
marc:

YEA!! Radio signal is back.
