  4:08am Stanley:

  4:09am Looms:

Avatar 4:10am Bill Mac:

  4:12am Brian in UK:

  4:14am Stanley:

Here we go again, I thought, they're talkin about a picture on the playlist I can't see. Happened to me last week during Mike's fill in show last week. Lo and behold its my Firefox browser that is denying me the visual pleasure.

  4:22am Brian in UK:

The Lips 'Hit to Death in the Future Head' was my favourite album of the 90's. Well one of my favourites.
  4:22am Looms:

Brian, have you already seen this?
  4:24am Stanley:

@M muy bueno, gracias. Spent last night listening to a 1975 Zappa/Beefheart gig posted onto yu-tube. Very enjoyable http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=fvwrel&v=tHBOZ-y-J14&NR=1
Avatar 4:27am Bill Mac:

I found a web site where you can download all kinds of Beefheart stuff I never saw. I'll try and track it down for you next week. Apparently this guys is digitizing his tapes. They're low quality but some of them sound pretty good
  4:27am Jay/ London:

better then elvis lol
  4:31am Stanley:

This one I heard is on the Bongo Fury tour and the quality is not bad, seems like it must of come from the desk. "No more credit from the liquor store..." etc
  4:31am Brian in UK:

Thanks Looms. I think 'Bass MacCaw & Broken Bottle' from Teddy Boys Don't Knit' is one of Viv's best & saddest songs.
Avatar 4:32am Bill Mac:

I actually thought this was the Bongo Fury show, but it doesn't sound the same
  4:36am Jay/ London:

wicked lady wicked track :)
  4:37am M:

Stanley, check Bill's show from June 9th. He played another song from the original Bat Chain Puller LP. http://wfmu.org/playlists/shows/45507
  4:40am Stanley:

Some kind person has it all mapped out at http://www.webalice.it/oscar.bianco/tcmyc/t70/t75-bf.html The El Paso gig on that bootleg immediately follows the Austin dates. Oh yes, it also has Jimmy Carl Black guesting on it.
  4:42am Brian in UK:

Loved to have gone to Armadillo World Headquarters.
Avatar 4:44am Bill Mac:

  5:11am Looms:

  5:14am Jay/ London:

  5:15am Brian in UK:

Talking of birthdays, Bill got to tell you what happened second week of our holidays. It's my 60th this coming Monday, well my three daughters & wife have been secretly planning for months to take me away. The other Thursday found myself at the airport on a 'plane only then discovered we were all going to Prague. It was a wonderful surprise. Great city. Cheap Pilsner, the real thing. I was blown away.
  5:18am Jay/ London:

thats just the best brian prague is a good place to chill out the food is cheap and they give you lots
  5:18am Stanley:

HaHa! Button pressed. Caffeine fuelled rant coming...... the f*****g class system in this country.......suits the rich b*******s to keep power everyone else..strangled hold over the citizenry.....nothing changes....blaah....blah..that's it calming down now......resuming normality
  5:20am Stanley:

Nice one Brian, sounds you have a lovely familiy.
  5:22am Steve:

Flaming Lips released an album just last month featuring song by song collaborations.

You may have heard "Children of the Moon"
Avatar 5:23am Bill Mac:

That's pretty incredible Brian. Those Eastern Bloc countries seem to be a big secret to most people here. The only way you get to know anything about them is by checking out those travelogue shows they have on public access. Lots of incredible architecture and food. I second what Stanley sez... That's way cool.

BTW Happy six-oh
  5:23am Looms:

Ah yes, Prague is a lovely town. How long have you been there? 2 weeks?
Avatar 5:27am Bill Mac:

@Steve I have it here. I saw it and decided I wanted to hear Turn It On.
  5:36am Brian in UK:

Just four days, Looms. Bit of a rush. Might have to go again.
Know what you mean,Bill The Eastern Bloc is opening up. Such a mixed history, stunning architecture. I discovered Alphons Mucha's Slav Epic which blew me away.

You are right Bill & Stanley I am a lucky chap.
  5:39am Stanley:

Time for some Mustaphas?
  5:40am Brian in UK:

If you like pork & beer, Prague is the place for you & it is cheap.
Funny Stanley I was playing Artur Astki the other day. Hello playmates.
Avatar 5:41am Bill Mac:

You're killing me Stanley! If I had another 15 seconds I would have had it ready!
  5:44am Brian in UK:

When is your birthday Bill, if you do not mind me asking?
  5:45am Stanley:

Athur Asserky was a very funny man!
Avatar 5:46am Bill Mac:

I'm in May... what are you guys talking about? Is is worth getting on here at some point?
  5:49am Stanley:

Pat Boone - you do surprise us sometimes, Bill.
  5:50am Brian in UK:

Third album down. Colin is/was one of the Mustaphas. Multi talented man.

And the wind screams NOOOOOOO
Avatar 5:50am Bill Mac:

There's a time to rock and a time to laugh... turn turn turn...
  5:52am Jay/ London:

pat boone seems to have covered a lot of songs
  5:53am Brian in UK:

'All is Vanity' Book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 1
  5:54am Brian in UK:

Andy stuck by her though.
  5:55am Looms:

Claudine Longet is quite unknown in France. Second pronunciation was fine.
Thanks for the show Bill, have a nice day y'all!
  5:55am Jay/ London:

  5:56am Stanley:

  5:58am Stanley:

We used to have to stand up at the end of the picture to this at the cinema when I was a kid! (Not the Neil Young version)
Avatar 5:58am Bill Mac:
