Avatar 4:49am
Bill Mac:

Hi Moe! Greetings from Jersey City!
  4:52am
Moe:

hey, actually i'm german, got an american name though. love your show, listening to it while having breakfast. we don't have radiostations you can listen to in germany.
Avatar 4:53am
Bill Mac:

You mean they're not listenable or they don't exist?
  4:57am
Moe:

German radiostations generally suck more or less. I only listen to them sometimes to get inormation. Regarding music they're either chartlist-pop-oriented or boring. nevermind, WFMU is a treasure for everyone with an internet connection.
Avatar 5:00am
Bill Mac:

Tell me about it Moe! I drive a ways just to DJ here. Any music that I never thought I'd find seems to end up being found here... except for Laibach ;) Still looking Jay
  5:03am
groucho:

in England we have BBC 6 Music, which is almost as cool as WFMU but still has a daytime playlist. on a night it's great though. and no adverts! still though, I have wfmu on 90% of the time
  5:04am
Mark:

Hey Bill! Mark here in a Cape Town, South Africa. Perfect music for a rainy Saturday morning.
  5:04am
Moe:

btw: while you played ACTRESS i unpacked his last two LPs from HONEST JON's package. :) ... & do you really think SAFE AS MILK is underrated? This is a stellar album. everyone know that ;) ... ok.
lol, if you still can get your hands on it, you should give a listen to the LAIBACH archival lp-box on VINYL ON DEMAND. it is way better than i dared to imagine. it's a archival release that is legit, imho. if you have serious interest, i can send you an email and we'll work something out. [btw.: we both know that LAIBACH are left wing intellectuals, right? the nazi discussion is stupid.]
cheers!
  5:08am
Manson UK:

Great show to listen to in UK. 10am over here, and the British radio just don't cut it since I started on WFMU
  5:08am
Jay /London:

@ Groucho i am with you on 6 music almost given up on it listen to wfmu most of the time .. Bill maybe you wont find it as it's only been out a short time ago

@ looms They must be MAD if they think that !!!
  5:13am
Moe:

as stupid and mad as nazis are, there are still something left around here (germany) who believe that. maybe i can get one and exhibit him in a museum :)
  5:13am
groucho:

Bill's here to serve hear[ing]
  5:15am
Stanley:

Hi Bill and everyone. Just up myself, bit of a rough night. Caught you talking about Beefheart and I wanted o ask what you think of the the 'new' release of Bat Chain Puller, as I just found about it last week. I must have been missing when you played tracks from it. It's expensive to buy and I'm just wondering if its that different from the Shiny Beast release.
Avatar 5:19am
Bill Mac:

Hey Stanley I was looking for you. BCP is the polished up version of Dust Sucker which is the bootleg of the original version. I'll bring it back in again, it has a deeper tone then the later version and features different musicians. I'm a big fan as you know, so I like both, but it's nice that they gave the original version a proper release.
  5:20am
Moe:

my gf wants you to know she's totally pleased with your selection of music. we both remember breakfast situations where i was forced to shut down WFMU because auf grind metal or some the like.
Avatar 5:23am
Bill Mac:

Great Moe.... I dig smooth edges over that kind of stuff... having a headache after the show isn't my idea of fun. besides, we got people here that can do that type of show better than I can, so I leave them to it.
  5:27am
Stanley:

Thanks Bill much appreciated. I think I'll just pony up the dough and go for it. @Moe WFMU is indeed eclectic but you can be sure that if its grind metal they play it'll be good grind metal.
  5:30am
Mrs. Bill Mac:

@Stanley I ordered Bat Chain Puller from www.zappa.com/barfkoswill/batchainpuller.html
It was 20 bucks U.S. plus shipping
  5:34am
Jay /London:

love this version of ride of the valkyries :)
  5:35am
Looms:

what Jay just said.
  5:37am
Stanley:

@Mrs Mac. A great present for your hubby. its £25 here ($40)
  5:48am
Jay /London:

guess you have given up finding the Laibach track Bill ?
Avatar 5:49am
Bill Mac:

Yeah Jay... we have one Laibach album... the movie looks good though. what a wacky premise
  5:51am
Jay /London:

yeah i laughed for most of the movie
  5:53am
Stanley:

Its the one Bill! Great find.
  5:55am
Jay /London:

well the time all gone again wish the show was longer thanks bill !! :0
Avatar 5:57am
Bill Mac:

Me too buddy..... no mo wine!!! Great Stanley, covered by Wanda Jackson too! OK folks, time's up.... happy 4th, and if you don't celebrate it, happy 5th too! See you all next week.... Laibach rules!!!!
  5:57am
Looms:

@Jay: i look forward to seeing Iron Sky but the movie isn't in theatre in France yet. Hope it will.

See ya folks! And thanks to Bill as always.
  5:57am
Stanley:

How fantastic. Great show as always. Take care mate and have a good week till next week.
  5:59am
Jay /London:

@ looms its on dvd
  5:59am
Looms:

oh, okay, thx!
  6:49am
Moe:

@Stanley [a bit late though]: I do enjoy some grindcore now and then ... but not with my morning coffee ;) ... Altough I love Udo Kier I couldn't even laugh one time during IRON SKY. There was one decent funny North-Korea joke, if I remember. Don't wanna spoil the fun - have a nice day y'all!
