Listener comments!

  9:02am DCE:

hey Liz. Hope your weekend was all sorts of awesome!
  9:05am Titus in GA:

top of the morning to ya, liz!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:08am Liz B.:

Greetings everyone! Had a nice weekend and I'm glad the rain held off until today.
  9:09am BSI:

$47,394 of $50,000 raised on the kickstarter campaign for the FMU doc! 15 days to go! Who hasn't ponied up? And what the HELL does "ponied up" mean?
  9:10am Jeffrey W:

This Kazuhiro track is great!
  9:10am Mark in DC:

Good morning! This July#04 track, very nice.
  9:13am onemanclapping:

yo yo yo
  9:17am BSI:

It's always a perfect time for Conet Project...
  9:18am Chris from DC:

The Conet Project is in the FMA? I think you just made my day.
  9:20am hamburger:

'pony up - in the olden days, people used to try and pass ponies off as race horses by making them stand on elevated platforms which were hidden and obscured from view, then when the scam caught on, people would say 'I jolly do hope that you haven't got your pony up' so I've been told..
  9:20am Sam:

This is a remix of that Stereolab song, right? Or did Stereolab sample this?
  9:20am BSI:

If I ever get my ECCENTRIC OLD DUDE MANSION on a hill, I will have one room where Numbers Stations recordings are constantly playing, 24hrs a day... Probably with all walls, ceiling & floor done up with matching shag carpeting. Why not...
  9:21am Sam:

Oh yes, I'm now sure Stereolab sampled that for their song track 5 on Transient Random Noise bursts
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24am Liz B.:

Great idea for your eccentric old dude mansion, BSI! We can all dream...
  9:26am Cheri Pi:

this is so good.
  9:27am Chris from DC:

They were amazing in Philly last week.
  9:31am DCE:

Colonel's got himself a brand new bag
  10:14am jt:

sam, which song were you talking about? i missed it.
  10:17am DCE:

you think they like the Stooges much?
  10:23am Carmichael:

Hiya Liz. Good morning, all.
  10:30am DCE:

Peaking Lights on a Monday morning is just the logical extension of the weekend vibe. Thank you.
  10:30am tim from champaign:

I haven't seen this tattoo on an actual person but a local tattoo shop advertised their business with a photo of a tattoo they did on someone's leg of Phil Collins' Face Value album. I do not understand at all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:31am Liz B.:

Very confounding, Tim from Champaign! Last year's winner for me was a lady who had "Mom & Dad" tattooed in script across her chest.
  10:32am Carmichael:

Good taste is timeless ....
  10:48am Bill:

Ha! My wife looked at rain and took this day off.
  11:03am DCE:

nice riffage
  11:09am efd:

already made a note! :D
  11:09am Kim Tortoise:

Ooh- is there a new Stereo Total out? Excellent. One of only three bands my ten year old (Junior Tortoise) listens to.
  11:12am DCE:

kids are funny in what they like...I was playing a Murderous Vision/Fasicst Insect record yesterday (noise/grindcore) and my 3 year old daughter was dancing to it. When it ended she asked "why did it end?"
  11:12am jeff:

Is 90.1 off the air?
  11:21am Kim Tortoise:

Better than "Why doesn't it end?" - a question that occurred to me quite a lot at a recent Metronomy gig.
  11:27am BSI:

yes. this is the vibe be working nice well. Maintain yes-yes. Thanks and praise.
  11:38am dc pat:

man, I'm late....it's summer...
  11:43am dc pat:

wow. The REAL Congos on this?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:44am Liz B.:

Hi DC Pat, and welcome! Yes, it is the REAL Congos. Sun Araw went to Jamaica to record this.
  11:44am dc pat:

that would be: yes. No mistaking Cedric's voice
  11:47am dc pat:

this is amazing.
  11:52am dc pat:

dammit LizB, stop distracting me, I'm trying to figure out where to get that FRKWYS stuff...
