Carmichael:

Good morning Faye and folks.
  11:06am
Lynn:

Hey Faye,
new to your show...reminds me of being a kid in the 80s and discovering the new bands of my generation making the music played no where but fmu and at all ages venues including the art places...and we making the mixed tapes...in our enthusiasm to share our "discoveries"....And discovering earlier music like your 1936 Coleman Hawkins and your choices from rerelease comps and samplers. Just went to your playlists...& quickly scanned your selections. You are new to fmu-really great. Am wondering who you are and where do you come from. Guess I will find out as I keep listening to your show. Love it. Yr speaking voice does not (yet?) have the world weary irony( blended with the everlasting enthusiasm and curiosity of music and art) of our beloved FMU DJs. Faye on Thursdays- tuning in.
  11:08am
Brian in UK:

Hey Carmichael. You may have the sunshine & babybacks. We have rain & the smelly wet dog effect.
  11:09am
Carmichael:

He he Brian. Keep Spencer out of the rain, OK? I'll mail you a Hawaiian print shirt.
  11:13am
Brian in UK:

You cannot believe how much rain has fallen since the government declared a hosepipe ban. I'll take you up on the shirt - medium. Tee hee.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14am
Faye:

Lynn thank you so much! That comment means a lot, seriously. Please continue to listen! I have a lot of fun here & I hope I can pass it on...
  11:32am
Jennique:

Faye, I have to say that I am in the same mindset (and age?) as Lynn. Your music reminds me of my high school/college years of working in dirty, student run coffee shop and playing thought provoking music that no one had heard of. I will be tuning in so I can keep up tha kidz and their new fangled music. Cheers.
  11:36am
H. Cameron:

Hey there Faye, have a great daye! awesome show, great job!
  11:41am
Carmichael:

With all this kid talk, I'll confess to listening with a jaundiced eye ( I went to high school in the Led Zep era!). However, I have greatly enjoyed the last hour of tuneage. I yield to your era's musical innovation and joy.

Wait ... jaundiced "ear" ..?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am
Faye:

Thank you Jennique! I'm dangerously close to fitting that description myself... H.Cameron HI!!! Thanks for listenin'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am
Faye:

haha, thanks Carmichael!
  11:46am
Krypt:

@Lynne you're soooo right, especially that Trouble, she is epitome of jaded misanthropy. Ho ho, only jestin'. I concur it is a beautiful thing that Faye has created here, bless.
  11:46am
Brian in UK:

You're looking a little yellow Carmichael, too much sun. As long as it is not a jaundiced heart.
Pop will out.
  11:47am
H. Cameron:

Hey Faye, did you know that you are making public art, once-a-week (at least?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49am

I'm the biggest Trouble fan there is! Thanks Krypt :) H. Cameron--yeah I was thinking about that yesterday, it gets to be a bit of a homework assignment haha
