Listener comments!

  3:07am Brian in UK:

Mornin' Bill, well Dr Nerve got the juices flowing! The bluddy wind & rain have stopped too.
  3:09am Looms:

Hello Ladies, Gents and Sails!
  3:09am Martyn:

Good morning Bill, Brian and all.

Spencer not talking this week Brian?
  3:10am Looms:

...sNails... need more coffee :(
  3:10am Marmalade Kitty:

Avatar 3:11am Bill Mac:

Hey Bri,
We've been having somewhat schizo weather here. I drive home looking at some beautiful cloud formations, but that generally translates into horrific weather somewhere in the general area. Dr Nerve is a pretty great band I picked up on during my years of DJing in the Philly area about 20 years ago. Good morning to all of the phase one regulars in the house..... Looms indeed, Kitty!!!! and a big huhlooooo to Martyn
  3:12am Looms:

Lady Chaton!
  3:16am Brian in UK:

Martyn, the lazy dog is still snoozing.
  3:17am Martyn:

Sensible dog, except he's missing the show.
Avatar 3:19am Bill Mac:

I got a half hour sleep before the show Martyn. I'm thinking the dog has his priorities straight
Avatar 3:25am Bill Mac:

Hey................ not that I'm complaining!!!
  3:27am Marmalade Kitty:

I feel like hibernating, with Zzzzzzero Hour of course! Weather seems to be pretty crap everywhere at the moment, uk and over Europe..
  3:29am Brian in UK:

Bill, you are the pilot of this aged DC8, we are just getting into our seats and sitting comfortably for the flight. Just seen some blue sky. Ready for take off.
Avatar 3:31am Bill Mac:

So far so good.... pray that the pilot doesn't lose his marbles and that we suffer no equipment malfunctions
  3:31am fred von helsing:

you're doing wonders for this mild morning hangover :)
Avatar 3:32am Bill Mac:

I trust your sweating it out Fred!
  3:41am Scuttle:

Such a great set!
Avatar 3:46am Bill Mac:

Thanks Scuttle, I though so too. A lot of the stuff from the first set kinda found it's way to my ears via the ipod on the way to work this morning.
  3:47am Marmalade Kitty:

It's a blimp!?
  3:50am Jay /London:

Good Morning Bill, Brian, marmalade Kitty, looking fordward to the show !!
  3:51am KP:

  4:02am fred von helsing:

  4:08am Jay /London:

  4:15am Marmalade Kitty:

How did thee op go Jay? I only saw Sir McCartney headlining the Jubilee bill. wish I'd seen maddness, glad I missed Sir Elton ;) but thats jubilee bullshit for ya
  4:18am Destroit:

Good morning world. And...hello Marmalade!!
  4:18am fred von helsing:

"I celebrated the jubilee by getting drunk in my Union Jack skivvies and writing a long incoherent rant about the Bay City Rollers."
  4:19am Marmalade Kitty:

truly insane, fred..!
  4:20am Stanley:

Here at last. (Slurp of tea) Now what's happening this morning? Oh, I see.
  4:20am KP:

Bill, I was driving and missed who it was you said met untimely end in car crash?
Avatar 4:20am Bill Mac:

There was a bit of it on primetime TV here... say what you will about the royals, but it's a testament to freedom... they aren't doing anything like that in afganistan... and I bet that they don't even know who the Bay City Rollers are
  4:21am KP:

Man this is wah wah heaven
Avatar 4:22am Bill Mac:

Brother JT at your service... meant to play this for Jay last week.... Hey Stan, and a beeeeelated lucid hello to Steeevo
  4:22am Marmalade Kitty:

  4:23am Jay /London:

@ Marmalade Kitty my 3rd and I very much hope last is on the 19th thinking of having a get together about a week after with some friends if all goes well ... yeah elton john should not sing in public any more as this voice has gone wel i never liked his stuff that much anyway .. the queen did not turn up till 9pm two hours in to the show tom jones still has it
  4:24am KP:

I saw the Bay City Rollers at an Irish bar in queens during 90s. All original guys except drummer who was doing time for child molestation, which seemed fitting.
  4:25am Jay /London:

Thanks bill for J T :) you remembered!
  4:26am KP:

Les was drinking scotch (what else) from half pint bottle in his tartan shirt.
  4:28am Steve:

  4:31am Jay /London:

  4:37am Marmalade Kitty:

I thought it sounded like a R.Waters impression of Barrett
  4:38am Destroit:

  4:40am Yvan:

Wall of Woodoo is the band
  4:41am Destroit:

  4:50am Marmalade Kitty:

Avatar 4:52am Bill Mac:

  5:30am Coffee Cola:

@ Bill Mac, never heard your show, but I have High hopes. Don't take this the wrong way, but I would love for the Lullabies to do the trick...
Avatar 5:39am Bill Mac:

Hey Coffee... I might have a few up my sleeve... if I'm not your cup of tea then give it another 25 minutes.... Jeff does great sets of gorgeous tunes.
  5:39am pierre:

Avatar 5:40am Bill Mac:

Pierre how you been?
  5:41am Stanley:

Brian - have a great time... watch out for Sawney Bean though.
  5:41am Coffee Cola:

@ Bill Mac, bring it! I could care less if it's awake or sleep music. Thanks for the shout out. its only 2:40 here PST but it still feels late as hell with or without the beer. Just do what you do! (I feel that is the essence of FMU but I can't stress it enough.) Time for another Banquet Beer. CHEERS!
Avatar 5:43am Bill Mac:

Sawney Bean..... your making me want to play Snakefinger now Stan
  5:43am Stanley:

Do it Bill...as dark as it comes
  5:46am Coffee Cola:

Again @ Bill, I don't know if I have another 25. Regardless, don't recognize a single name on the playlist and I like that. Make me feel weird and like it! This is what it's about, right?! I mean, yeah. DO IT!

  5:55am Marmalade Kitty:

Bill you the best! Have a great week everyone!
  5:55am Coffee Cola:

and, BTW if i may put out an ADD for the most moderate beer in the EE.UU, "Drink Banquet Beer, because it makes you sleepless (maybe), and next thing you know, the only friend you have is the Accu Playlist, and you're more than okay with that."
  5:56am Looms:

this Snakefinger's Vestal Virgins sounded delicious, didn't know about it. Great set!
See y'all, best wishes on your trip, Brian.

  5:59am Stanley:

Is that right Brian? Never saw them but I think I remember liking them. Weren't they a sort of off-beat folkie/bluegrassy outfit?
