  3:06am Brian in UK:

Hello Boss. How's it hangin'? Is this Romanian?
  3:06am Martyn:

Good morning Bill and all.
Very strange music to start with today. Its great.
  3:07am Destroit:

Hello Bill Mac, and all the good people.
  3:11am Steve:

Why can't every Top 40 statio play Hornorkesteret?
Avatar 3:12am Bill Mac:

Morning Gents and others! Aside from slight dehydration, I'm doing good. Apparently H&aH are New Mexican!
Avatar 3:13am Bill Mac:

Hey Steve, I'm guessing that PETA would get on them for playing stringed deer antlers...
  3:14am Steve:

Uhho, OK
  3:15am abby in france:

hi bill. deer antlers fall naturally once a year. you just have to pick them up off the ground.
  3:15am Gary:

Someone should bring these guys over here. Maybe get the Rutting Red Deer to open.
  3:15am Destroit:

I'm giving Steve a top 40 dumb pass.
Avatar 3:21am Bill Mac:

Hi Abby... yeah, apologies for talking off the top of my head, just mixing it up in between songs here.
  3:21am Brian in UK:

Is there something in the air today, Bill?
  3:25am Destroit:

Steve, in retrospect, you are right. In a perfect world, we'd be playin' all sorts of great tunes.
Avatar 3:25am Bill Mac:

Isn't it full throttle caffeine time over there?
Avatar 3:27am Bill Mac:

Thanks Gary!
  3:28am Steve:

I always thought FMU was Top 40. I just could never find the charts.
  3:28am Destroit:

Avatar 3:41am Bill Mac:

  3:45am Steve:

Summertime, a George Gershwin song from Porgy and Bess. Everyone seems to like it. Joplin amongst others did a great cover.

  3:45am Destroit:

Good good good,
  3:53am Gary:

If I may, Bill. The Pretty Things record with the round top was S.F. Sorrow. Maybe you were thinking of Blues Obituary from The Groundhogs? I dunno, maybe my ears are clouding up again and I heard wrong
Avatar 3:57am Bill Mac:

No you were correct it was SF Sorrow. I had that one. You might have missed the comments I made about Dave Edmunds group Love Sculpture. I don't recall for sure whether I've seen that album but it seems it was also a roundie.
  4:00am Gary:

Yes, forgot about that one. Haven't played that but once or twice. Forms and Feelings is the one to get, though.
Avatar 4:00am Bill Mac:

Thanks for the tip Gary
  4:11am Shazam:

We couldn't find a match
  4:13am alberto:

did my left speaker just go, "little boy take one"?
Avatar 4:14am Bill Mac:

hmmmm.... yes.... never thought of it that way....
  4:16am KP:

Funny to hear SF Sorrow as i'm bundling up copies of a tribute to it that my band is on. the Pretty Things themselves have contributed a song, Phil and Dick wrote the liner notes and gave it its title, "Sorrow's Children." It's on Fruits de Mer Records. Hopefully some copies will make their way to Jersey City.
Avatar 4:20am Bill Mac:

Is that a new release? I know there's another one out there and I'd like to hear that one. New PT tune to boot?! Greet!
  4:22am alberto:

"i'm pontius pilate i punched the pilot"? that's great!!!! ..then they get fast...
  4:24am alberto:

  4:35am alberto:

  4:38am alberto:

  4:39am KP:

I think this is the only complete remake of the album but i could be wrong. it's vinyl only but some CDRs have made their way to the station in advance of its arrival from UK. At least one track has been played.

  4:52am Brian in UK:

Just dipping back in. Usual story, doggo. Did you mention Sabre Dance by Love Sculpture? I remember John Peel playing it on his show the first time. He had to play it again later in the same show it was so powerful.

You might like this new link to John Peel's archive.
