  3:32am Martyn:

@ Jay, its a beautiful morning here and a cloudless sky, most unusual!
  3:33am Martyn:

Hey Stanley, how was your trip?
  3:33am Brian in UK:

Jay, honest answer, pissed orf as prince charles might say. Stunning these April showers how the sun comes & goes. Getting soaked walked the dog.

Hello Stanley, pass the sunshine please.
Avatar 3:34am Bill Mac:

Stanley yes! How'd the trip go?
  3:36am Destroit:

Hello everyone, good to some familiar faces/posters etc. Bill, just woke up, alive and love it.
  3:38am JAY / LONDON:

Yes brian i have a cat better in this weather .. hi destroit
  3:45am JAY / LONDON:

@ martyn send down some sunshire its overcast and wet here and i have a party i should go to the other side of town
  3:47am Martyn:

Jay, I keep hearing how much you need the rain down there.
  3:48am Stanley:

Back and recharged. Fit to face the rat race once again. Spent a good week in a cottage on an island off the west coast, surounded by snow capped mountains and blue sea. It feels like you drink the air up there, its so pure. The weather was kind but it was still cold. Friendly unhurried people, like people used to be.
  3:50am Deepak:

Pass the wind and rain Jay, we could use it here.
Avatar 3:51am Bill Mac:

Hey Destroit! What up!
@Stanley Like people used to be.... i know whatcha mean.
Deepak, howsit going?
  3:54am Stanley:

Met up with the wild animals. Deer, seals, porpoises. otters, big, big birds including (drum roll) Golden Eagles - six of them. Fantastic.
  3:54am Deepak:

good Bill but i don't know how i'm gonna manage two final tests in college after my friend's brother wedding party tonight.
Avatar 3:55am Bill Mac:

BTW, Prince Andy was in Philly this week. I couldn't help making snarky remarks about him coming back to get a couple of the states back.
  3:55am Stanley:

What Did the Hippy has in His Bag? Well I know what I used to have in my bag! And not much else!
Avatar 3:56am Bill Mac:

Yeah D, sounds like you got a dilemma on your hands.... good luck with that
  4:02am JAY / LONDON:

  4:03am JAY / LONDON:

  4:07am JAY / LONDON:

  4:07am Andrew:

hi Deepak & Stanley.
I like this track, not heard of Marta Kurbisova before. I like hearing other countries songs, which have a similar sound to other songs in english, like the genres.
ohhh organs in orbit ^_^
  4:09am Deepak:

yes, at the foothills of lower Himalayas. Monsoons are still like 2 freaking months away, 45C temperatures just a week away
  4:09am Brian in UK:

Stanley sounds wonderful, the sort of place that teases you to stay longer.

Deepak, tough decision bit of fun to balance the study?
  4:11am Deepak:

I've come past there loads of times on my way into town.
Avatar 4:32am Bill Mac:

Hey Garcia, so I was listening to my iPod on random and that song popped on. Turns out it's on a tape that someone ripped. Been a long time fan of theirs, close relatives of the Ex yes?
  4:34am JAY / LONDON:

Avatar 4:54am Bill Mac:

Dates you? What about Hawkwind? Who's left but Brock at this point?
  4:57am Andrew:

see you later brian ^_^
Avatar 4:59am Bill Mac:

Tell Jason that he's welcome to play on MY show when he comes through here!
  5:03am Stanley:

Hawkwind were the business back in the day for any self-respecting free thinking anti-etablishment person of taste (but not hygiene). I remember many a hot summer's day lying on the grass in a field somewhere being entertained by them.
  5:05am Chris:

Argh, I'd go for those tickets, Bill, but I'm working an evening shift that night.
  5:07am Steve:

Alice Cooper, overinflated as it can be, does have a rare sense for Jimmy Dean discovers the power chord. Try My Stars (play) http://snipurl.com/mystars
  5:08am Marmalade kitty:

Good morning Bill & the gang!
Avatar 5:10am Bill Mac:

Too bad, Chris, those tix are just sitting there...

  5:13am Andrew:

hehe, i remember that they're coming to take me away song
  5:14am JAY / LONDON:

i have only heard : they are coming to take me away : of this guy
Avatar 5:15am Bill Mac:

@ Steve Do you write album reviews? Interesting comparison that I'll have to check out. Seems ACs earlier material could be almost progressive at times.
Avatar 5:16am Bill Mac:

I know Jay.... he actually made a whole album of that kind of stuff.... couldn't believe it myself
  5:18am Steve:

School's Out is really a strong album suffering from the airplay burn-out of one or two songs.
  5:19am JAY / LONDON:

Bill will have to see if album is for sale somewhere lol
Avatar 5:21am Bill Mac:

@Jay Apparently it was re-released back in the 80's on Rhino...
  5:22am JAY / LONDON:

thanks for the info Bill
Avatar 5:27am Bill Mac:

@Steve I wasn't a big fan of AC, but I would estimate that real fans felt he was done before Billion Dollar Babies... his star faded fast after that
  5:28am Andrew:

i like gil scott-heron, haven't heard enough of him
  5:30am JAY / LONDON:

gotta go and pay bills its that time again, catch the rest of the show later bye for now all
  5:31am Stanley:

Bye Jay. Take it easy.
Avatar 5:31am Bill Mac:

Gotta say that most modern rappers copped his style.
Avatar 5:31am Bill Mac:

Later Jay! Had Cohen for you today btw....
  5:33am Andrew:

cya later Jay
  5:35am Stanley:

  5:42am King Penguin:

Just made my driveway. Thanks for making it fun and esp for Gil scot heron.
  5:42am Steve:

Always room for some blues!
Avatar 5:43am Bill Mac:

Hey King, hope you managed to stay on the road for the trip
  5:44am Stanley:

I'm quite excited, as I'm off to Glasgow this evening to see Nackt Insecten and hang with Brian Turner! But first gotta get a haircut. But, I'll wait to see what you've got in store for the end of the show.
Avatar 5:45am Bill Mac:

  5:46am Andrew:

  5:49am King Penguin:

  5:54am Stanley:

  5:55am Marmalade kitty:
