  3:48am
Stanley:

Back and recharged. Fit to face the rat race once again. Spent a good week in a cottage on an island off the west coast, surounded by snow capped mountains and blue sea. It feels like you drink the air up there, its so pure. The weather was kind but it was still cold. Friendly unhurried people, like people used to be.
  3:50am
Deepak:

Pass the wind and rain Jay, we could use it here.
Avatar 3:51am
Bill Mac:

Hawkwind were the business back in the day for any self-respecting free thinking anti-etablishment person of taste (but not hygiene). I remember many a hot summer's day lying on the grass in a field somewhere being entertained by them.
  5:05am
Chris:

Argh, I'd go for those tickets, Bill, but I'm working an evening shift that night.

@ Steve Do you write album reviews? Interesting comparison that I'll have to check out. Seems ACs earlier material could be almost progressive at times.
Avatar 5:16am
Bill Mac:

I know Jay.... he actually made a whole album of that kind of stuff.... couldn't believe it myself
  5:18am
Steve:

School's Out is really a strong album suffering from the airplay burn-out of one or two songs.
  5:19am
JAY / LONDON:

Bill will have to see if album is for sale somewhere lol
Avatar 5:21am
Bill Mac:

@Jay Apparently it was re-released back in the 80's on Rhino...
  5:22am
JAY / LONDON:

thanks for the info Bill
Avatar 5:27am
Bill Mac:

@Steve I wasn't a big fan of AC, but I would estimate that real fans felt he was done before Billion Dollar Babies... his star faded fast after that
