I actually did a side by side comparison between filling out the forms myself and using the online software and came up with pretty much the same result. I had never filled out the forms before, so it was good to see exactly what was going on. Took me twice as long, though.

Primary residence definition looks vague for persons like me who own more than one property.
If I want to take an energy credit for a place where we may live at retirement (which is substantial for geothermal systems right now,) how to be properly qualified?
If I were a politician, I could apparently claim any residence as "primary."
