  3:09am
Martyn:

Good morning Bill and all.

Where did the week go?
  3:11am
Brain in KU:

Mornin' Bill 'n' Martyn. Enjoy the snow Martyn?
  3:14am
Martyn:

Hi Brian, what snow would that be? I didn't see any.
  3:17am
Brain in KU:

Really! Well the north of Ingerland copped it. Glad to hear you missed it.
  3:20am
Martyn:

It hardly ever snows here, something to do with being close to the Atlantic.

Certainly looked bad elsewhere though.
Avatar 3:24am
Bill Mac:

Hey gents! Snow?? It's finally turned here. Now people are whining about the 50 degree Fahrenheit temps....
Baseball season just beginning here so no turning back
  3:24am
Brain in KU:

I guess there are no mountains to climb before it hits you. Do I sound like I know what I'm talking about!!
Sold our chicken coop on the allotment last weekend. That was awful, the fox had eight of them a year or two back, just keep them in the back garden now.
  3:26am
Brain in KU:

Yea Moto GP starts this weekend. Only thing apart from cricket (baseball cousin?) that draws me in.
  3:26am
Martyn:

I don't know what I'm talking about most of the time.
Avatar 3:30am
Bill Mac:

There related for sure, but I would think cricket has been around longer. I always find the farm talk interesting btw. Is it as quaint as you make it sound? Doesn't matter if you don't make sense Martyn, just keep on talking!
  3:34am
Martyn:

Cheers Bill.

Fine music by the way.

How's the knashers, Jay?

Bill, I remember buying 'Heartful of Soul' at the time. Great guitar sound.
  4:38am
Brain in KU:

Gotta walk the dog now. He's pacing the hall looking at his watch, metaphorically ofcourse.
  4:38am

  4:45am
Brain in KU:

Not seen it yet, Jay. Only on in London but good reviews. Just had some time off work but seemed to spend it doing work around the place and for others. Want to see a few things in the smoke. (that's London)
  4:47am
Brain in KU:

Dog's calling. Sounding good, Bill. Got any comedy for the end of the show?
  4:48am

  5:07am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

Bill, two "newish" bands come highly recommended by me: Spider Fever AND Heavy Cream. Great stuff each.

Hahaha! Bill, I thank you, Sir!
  5:10am
Jay/London:

is it cramp time bill ?
Avatar 5:11am
Bill Mac:

@Jay I think I'll pay another one or two from this in lieu of a Cramps cut.
@Adam I'll keep an eye on the new bin! Thanks for the heads up!
  5:11am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

Spider Fever is an especially powerful monster, fronted by Mario Rubalcaba of a heavy handful of fantastic bands that have been around over the past twenty years. :-)))
  5:12am
Andy in Berlin:

what is the name of that song you played during the break - the organ thing? I always was trying to find that to use it for something and I never knew what it was called.
  5:13am
Jay/London:

i think you are right bill loving this :)
  5:13am

Jay/London:

  5:33am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

I'm lamenting a bit my decision to decline to go see firehose this evening, but I decided to simply hang onto my memories of seeing them in the early 1990's.
  5:35am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

Ohhh, it *is* firehose! :-)
  5:35am
Jay/London:

  5:40am
Jay/London:

thanks M it says it came out in 2010 so was not sure it was the one
  5:44am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

It looks like I might have one more chance in Eugene, Oregon. I might just have to re-think it, because, like you Bill, I am mesmerized by the musical interplay between Messrs Watt and Hurley.
  5:45am
M:

yeah, it's been out for a while ... she won some kind of literary award for it
  5:48am
Destroit:

Nashville cats! Awesome!

@Adam Last time I saw Watt Ed was in a band that opened for him. They got together to do some Firehose stuff together
  5:51am
Brain in KU:

Is there a better harmony singer than Emmylou?
  5:54am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

Wow! That sounds great, Bill! In 2003 I got to see Watt and Hurley do Minutemen songs as a duo. Mindblowing; poignant.
Avatar 5:58am
Bill Mac:

Wow.... took them long enough... you were lucky if they did Red and the Black during firehose sets
  5:59am
Brain in KU:

This sounds good, Bill. Taj Mahal does a good tribute to Elizabeth Cotten on Music Fuh Yah.
  5:59am
Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

Thanks, Bill!
