Having some serious metal flashbacks...I remember seeing these dudes open for Armored Saint and Grim Reaper in the 80s.

OOO MAN i bet that Show RULLLLLLLLED SOOO MUCH BALLZ
  8:36am
Cheri Pi:

I saw Onlsaught the other night in Dayton Ohio and the lead singer was pulling some effortless high notes; it took me back to a more innocent time in Metal.
  8:40am
PKNY:

I actually met most of the Helloween dudes, they came out in the crowd while AS played, I just had them sign my ticket stub.

This singer sure nailed the Bruce Dickinson notes and bombast. I'm surprised that Maiden didn't call this guy up when Bruce left/ was fired from Maiden.
  8:40am
Cheri Pi:

Yes-they played here in Cincinnati w/ Grim Reaper on their "Hell on Wheels tour" in 1987.
  8:43am
PKNY:

But I gotta say: "Hocus Pocus" had aged *much* better than Helloween.

and J. Cole bout to make it hip hop. . . .
  8:52am
PKNY:

To continue the 'who I saw live' theme, I saw J. Cole open for Big Daddy Kane about 2 years ago. Kane straight wiped the floor with him. He and Scoop and Scrap still got the moves!
Avatar 8:54am
marty:
