Avatar 3:56am Bill Mac:

@Jay Cramps, huh? I think I got it here.
  3:56am T-Zero:

Heh! Yeah. It was *loud* and then started pouring like a monsoon... It's let up now though.
Avatar 3:58am Bill Mac:

We're sposed to be getting some rain this weekend... just gloom and dampness though... no drama
  3:59am vanya:

i liked the birthday song! and neptune! if not for bill mac i never would know those bands existed! and it`s... noon in moscow!!! good morning everyone! keep on pushing, bill mac! if self denegration builds character i`m schwarzedenegger! haha!!!!
  4:01am T-Zero:

We've had a bit of drama. Tornado warning here a couple of days ago... with big hail... had the window open and when I walked in the room the floor was covered... but other than that it's been really hot and sunny... supposed to be cool this weekend though with about the same prediction you gave
  4:02am Deepak:

good afternoon vanya, we're only an hour ahead of you here in N. India.
  4:03am vanya:

where exactly, deepak? a friend of mine just got back home from around there )
Avatar 4:04am Bill Mac:

Howdy do Vanya, and greetings from within the shadow of NYC!
  4:04am Jay/ London:

@ t-zero send us some of your rain as we are very dhort of water here and they are starting a hosepipe ban soon
  4:04am Brian en Angleterre:

Did I miss The Idle Race. Jeff Lynne's best work? Humour, which is lacking in so much music.
  4:05am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

  4:05am Deepak:

Chandigarh, its 250 km north of Delhi.
  4:06am groucho:

Bus rider. I have to get a bus today. manchester to birmingham. that song is all about ME!
Avatar 4:07am Bill Mac:

Did Idle Race have only two releases? I have a nice 2 CD retrospective here is my grubby little mitts...
Avatar 4:07am Bill Mac:

Scratchin that itch Mt Kevlar!
  4:09am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

I sing this and Venus with my friend nearly every time I see him. "Didja feel low...HUH!?" one of my favorite bands.
  4:10am T-Zero:

@Brian: Speaking of humour... I was listening to The Bran Flakes before tuning in here
  4:11am Brian en Angleterre:

Yes Bill, Lynne went off with Roy Wood I believe. the first is the best. English psychedlica!
Deepak, Chandigarh is a bit idiosynchratic?
  4:11am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

Oh man, I love Venus...I sing that song all of the time. I should check that out.
  4:11am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

It's their debut, yes.
  4:14am Martyn:

Caught out (again!) by UK/US daylight saving differences, good morning Bill, and all the good people here.

Plenty of water here Jay.
  4:17am Brian en Angleterre:

The song that turned my head irredeemably was Mr Tambourine Man by the Byrds. Life was never the same afterwards for that twelve year old.

Mornin' Martyn.
  4:18am vanya:

television`s awesome! i heard several live songs in a row like a month ago on THE radio - was it zzzzero hour? - not sure! some guitar, right? and idle race, yeah, i didn`t get the humour though, i was deeply touched by the song
  4:20am Jay/ London:

@ martyn so where are you .. and can you send me some ?
  4:20am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

Mr. Tambourine Man is another one of my favorites, but I like their really jangly sound, especially on their version of Turn!Turn!Turn! I think the Byrds are kind of forgotten among the top '60s bands to new fans. It's a shame.
Avatar 4:23am Bill Mac:

@Brian & Kevlar Howsabout some Byrds?
@Vanya Not me.... As I said over the last break, I don't play enough of them!
@Martyn Yooooo martyn!!!!
  4:25am Brian en Angleterre:

Martyn as one of the Scottish correspondents do you know anything about Dumfries & Galloway? I was thinking of going up there this summer.
  4:26am Martyn:

Jay, I'm in only recently sunny Scotland. I could send you a tanker full, for a consideration of course.
  4:27am Brian en Angleterre:

Yes please Uncle Bill. Gunga Din on Ballad of Easy Rider? Always gets missed off the comps.
  4:28am Martyn:

Brian, well I've heard its very nice (almost as nice as Argyll), but I've never been south of Glasgow, apart from very occasional transits along the M6.
  4:30am Brian en Angleterre:

Bob Brainen is on later and he is BIG on The Byrds.

Thanks Martyn. It seems a bit forgotten & quiet there.
  4:31am Jay/ London:

@ Martyn thought water was free i am 1/4 Scottish do i get a discount for that
  4:32am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

;_; thanks man for this song, that's a crying emoticon right there
  4:33am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

tears of joy, btw
Avatar 4:33am Bill Mac:

Awesome Mr Kevlar
  4:33am Martyn:

Jay, I'm actually 0% Scottish so that doesn't cut any ice with me (mmm, ice!).
  4:34am http://www.last.fm/user/johnnykevlar:

Wow, and you followed it up with a byrds cover by husker du, another favorite band of mine. Can this get any better?
  4:34am Jay/ London:

@ Martyn is the ice extra ?
Avatar 4:36am Bill Mac:

Been thinking of Huskers lately.... twas a no brainer!!!
  4:36am Brian en Angleterre:

Nice Bill. Rediscovered Copper Blue by Sugar recently. Tracks like 'If I can't Change Your Mind' are very jangly.
  4:38am Martyn:

Jay, I think ice should be extra, I mean what will you poor thirsty folk put in your G&T's?
  4:40am A Soft Southerner:

Tankeray ofcourse
Avatar 4:40am Bill Mac:

@Brian Thanks man! I like "A Good Idea"
  4:41am Jay/ London:

@ Martyn you drive a hard bargain, after all the drinks have all just gone up
  4:41am Brian en Angleterre:

He said he said.
  4:42am Jay/ London:

I think this is the best clash L.P.
  4:45am Martyn:

Jay, oh alright then, no extra for ice. I'll just throw some on the back of a lorry and send it down. Its only about 450 miles, maybe it won't all have melted.
Avatar 4:46am Bill Mac:

Can't stop now.... playin all the hits...
  4:46am T-Zero:

Time for some Koonda Holaa
  4:50am Jay/ London:

@ martyn thanks i have the drinks ready for the ice .. will it be long ? on another note is the temp hot up there for the time of year .. HEY BILL THE CrAMPS !!!! THANKS :)
  4:55am Martyn:

Jay, Its warm enough at the moment but as we say here, 'Ne'er cast a clout till May be oot', so I won't be putting the thermals away just yet.
  4:57am Jay/ London:

you have me !! bill thought it was /is a good plan to hear it all
hope this does not mean no cramps cut next week ?
  4:58am Brian en Angleterre:

What is the least used expression in the record industry nowadays. Could it be Side 2.
  5:01am Brian en Angleterre:

Old Mose knows.
  5:02am Steve:

Can they play an instrument?
Avatar 5:05am Bill Mac:

Oooooof!!!! I hear ya Steve!
  5:10am Brian en Angleterre:

This is killing me Bill. Gotta ton of things to do today, daughter moving to a flat, dog walking, digging the ground & music!, selling chicken coop & CDs on ebay. Still got 30 pages of Simenon book to finish, what a great writer.

Happy T-Zero.
  5:12am T-Zero:

Thanks, for slipping that in, Bill, since you'd moved on from your punk set. Nice of you!
Avatar 5:15am Bill Mac:

Take it easy Brian! Try enjoying the weekend!
  5:15am Jay/ London:

Avatar 5:16am Bill Mac:

No Prob T! It fits nicely in here... thanks for turning me on to this
  5:17am Brian en Angleterre:

Jay I've got in mind to see 'In Darkness' & 'Once Upon a Time in Anatolia' soon.
Coffee sounds like a good idea, he said, he said.
  5:19am T-Zero:

Heh, when you said he said he said before, I thought you meant the group and was trying to figure out what it was in ref too... Sounds like a busy day... I'm with Jay, leisure time for me...
  5:22am Jay/ London:

@ brian there are 48 hours in the wekend just try and relax make some time for yourself :) this is a good time with this show to set us up for the day
  5:23am Brian en Angleterre:

Got me some William Bell recently. He slipped through the net.
  5:24am Steve:

Like Joe Tex
  5:26am Brian en Angleterre:

Got any O V Wright perchance. He can make a grown man cry.
  5:27am Brian en Angleterre:

That's Overton Vertis. Now that is what I call a name.
Avatar 5:28am Bill Mac:

Nice Steve.... seems like he should have mroe than 1000 friends... not bad for a guy that's been in the ground for 30 years...
  5:33am Brian en Angleterre:

Let's not go there, Bill.
  5:34am T-Zero:

@Bill.... delta blues find from a few days ago in the fma ... you might like http://tinyurl.com/7tvy9r2
  5:39am arne da torino:

  5:40am Rob W:

  5:46am arne da torino:
