You see a blanket on the ground. It's your favorite color, smooth and soft. You can sit on it, or lie on it. It's a flying blanket, and you are the pilot. You are in control. You can fly anywhere you wish, just by thinking about it. You are the pilot.

Listener comments!

  Mon. 2/20/12 9:11pm 12539:

Dan, I pledged preMarathon and chose your premium (among others). I don't know if you get credit for that, but I want you to know you deserve it.
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:16pm Ike:

@12539, DJs get credit for that next week, and we pre-marathon pledgers will be thanked on-air by the DJs whose premiums we chose.
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:18pm 12539:

Ike! Welcome back to 2012!
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:21pm Ike:

Thanks! But actually, that knowledge comes from 2011, since I have not had a chance to volunteer at FMU so far this year. Maybe that comment traveled through time, from the past to the present.
Avatar Mon. 2/20/12 9:28pm Dan B:

Sorry if I'm a little scarce tonight, tons going on here! Thanks for the pledge support, 12539! Cheers to all.
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:35pm PB:

This sure is some pretty playing.
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:40pm damienbell:

oh, Dan B., I'll give you some G-damned money, but not tonight. Trust me. It's just that my bookie, "Lenny", stopped by tonight. Let's just say that my $$ was not on the Giants.
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:47pm Ike:

No need to pay now. WFMU bills you later.
Avatar Mon. 2/20/12 9:47pm Dan B:

@PB, Cian Nugent really hits it, right? So do Gillian & David. @Damien, as long as your legs are OK, you can pledge. Otherwise appease Lenny.
Avatar Mon. 2/20/12 9:50pm Dan B:

@IKE, that's true.
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:54pm penelope:

hi dan! I hope charybdis is being helpful..

Didn't the Beastie Boys once name-check Abe Vigoda in a song.
  Mon. 2/20/12 9:59pm joe:

yes yes they did
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:10pm Minnesota Jeff:

Woo! MARATHON!!!
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:12pm Upsidedown Mike:

pledgathon server down?? maybe that's why the dog's tail wasn't waging for "Too Much Information"..
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:14pm Joe Mulligan:

If you can't get through on the web, call us to pledge the old fashioned way at 800-989-9368.
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:16pm Minnesota Jeff:

If you pledged online should the funds be withdrawn instantly? I pledged earlier tonight but it hasn't hit my card yet. Are these all ran later?
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:18pm Stephen:

Was that chirpy eerie seesawing music just on "Basically Speaking"? Also, I can't find Airborne Event on the Premium page? I WANT that song! Is this all inappropriately personal informaiton?
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:19pm Ken:

The website and streams are all working fine, but the station computers have lost their web connection. People can still pledge online though, the pledges and the money will still go through - our servers are not at the station. So the problem is with the station's connection, not the connection to our pledge / web / stream servers.
Mon. 2/20/12 10:21pm Tom from Gravesend Bklyn !!:

< is in a van down by the river stealing wi-fi from 7/11 ..
Mon. 2/20/12 10:23pm Adam in Portland:

@Ken, is it still possible to set up a prize account?
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:23pm 12539:

Stephen, the premiums are arranged on the premium page by the day and hour of the show.
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:24pm Minnesota Jeff:

Dan: Not sure if I have ever told you this, but you have my absolute favorite DJ bed music.
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:26pm Ken:

Adam, I think the deadline was yesterday or today. You should try to do it and see if it accepts it. You need to make a paid or at least a one twelfth paid pledge of $365 or more to set it up.
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:26pm Ken:

oh man! I just got home after 15 hours at the station and now I gotta head back!
Mon. 2/20/12 10:28pm Adam in Portland:

Alright, thanks, I'll give it a go. I'm doing just a bit more this year and pledging $500 to the station that I can't loving too hard.
Mon. 2/20/12 10:28pm Adam in Portland:

  Mon. 2/20/12 10:33pm dave:

Stephen: Dan's premium is on the premium page as "Dan Bodah's Break the Tabs & Check Dolby B". It's the first one in the third column in the "Monday" section.
  Mon. 2/20/12 10:33pm 12539:

Stephen, it's Dan Bodah's Break the Tabs & Check Dolby B, right under Bethany's Tango premium.
