Listener comments!

  1:11pm fred:

Good afternoon Rex and fellow listeners!
  1:11pm Escarole eater:

Opera still gives me the creeps...except when Esquerita sings it !
  1:13pm Jim B:

Wow, was preoccupied while listening to Esquerita and actually forgot that the Hound has been off the air for years. That song seems so natural for early Saturday afternoon.
  1:14pm Mark in DC:

Ah, more Esquerita. Make us aware!
  1:19pm Hasil Hunchbone:

I hope Rex can someday find an excuse to interview Harlan Ellison
  1:26pm Hasil Hunchbone:

Btw , congrats to Rex , 100 per center !
  1:27pm Parq:

I know that "Drop out of grammar school" drop-in. That was from the Munsters, an episode where Grandpa turns Eddie into a trumpet virtuouso, only it also turns him into a stone be-bopper. Grooo-vy.
  1:33pm tim from champaign:

So I'm working at a record store in Champaign IL at the moment. The local Moondog-esque character was in the store when Hasil Adkins was played. I was really hoping the Hasil would cause Moondog to do some sublime boogying but unfortunately it did not happen.
  1:42pm tony in durham nc:

Heck yeah it's true!
  1:54pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Killer show last week, Rex. It kept me sane as I spent 5 hours driving around in the snow...
  1:57pm fred:

@tim: it's the longest of shots, but are you in touch with guys named Mert Bay or Stephen Downie?
  2:00pm tony in durham nc:

I love Norton's Xmas rekkids. Congrats!
  2:06pm Debbie from Ga:

Music to cook catfish by!
  2:14pm Don (trip dub):

Prell - Industrial stength shampoo. As calgon is to bathing. The name says everything.
  2:16pm Don (trip dub):

I'm with stupid. Love The Van Dykes. Thanks Rex for playing.
  2:26pm rachel:

  2:27pm Xian in Detroit:

Whoa! Rare Zappa track!
  2:28pm Xian in Detroit:

Anyone ever heard "Lost In a Whirlpool?" lol
  2:48pm Ben Drinken:

Was at the symposium last week but came down for a bit to see Rex spin the 45's in his colorful and snazzy attire at the record fair.
  3:01pm AbeSomething:

Thanks for another week of great tunes, Rex!
  9:27pm Tom:
