Listener comments!

  9:05am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

hi there!
  9:09am
Should be Finishing Homework:

Have Sun Araw put out a bad record? Every time I hear something new it's always pretty cool.
  9:10am
Liz B.:

Hi DCE, and anyone else hanging out! It's only the 2nd song and I fear I might be playing this at the wrong speed. If it's nebulous, I always go for 45 over 33, ha ha!
  9:11am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

I don't think they're capable of putting out anything bad at this juncture.
  9:11am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

you may be right about being wrong about the speed, but it sounds good this way too!
  9:12am
Jay/ London:

good afternoon liz just checking in
  9:14am
fred von helsing:

33 v 45 is the basis for a listener contest, they gotta guess and vote
  9:20am
pierre:

Ola !

checking in + listening + lots of "in's"
  9:21am
Liz B.:

Well, one speed glitch and one stylus down already... this show is gonna be by the seat of my pants!
  9:24am
fred von helsing:

Stylus down! Call the A-Team!
  9:34am
fun cakes:

The best records sound great at both 33 and 45.
  9:35am
dc pat:

Hey, is it singles going steady?? Allright!
  9:38am
Liz B.:

Good point, Fun Cakes! I almost did the 33/45 slip again!! Caught myself so I suppose the coffee is kicking in.
  9:40am
R Mike:

Looking forward to the ABJ set. Saw them in Nashville a few weeks ago and they were great.
  9:45am
pierre:

is it one of the purpose of "singles going steadty" making creative mistakes as 33/45 slips?
  9:45am
Liz B.:

Yeah, ABJ are so much fun!
  9:47am
Liz B.:

Ha ha, good point, Pierre!
  9:47am
fred von helsing:

can someone wire a turntable so you can play them backwards too that would be aw-sum
  9:47am
dc pat:

this is Sic Alps? man...
  9:49am
Liz B.:

Fred, we do have one stunt turntable that will play things in reverse... maybe I'll get it going later!
  9:54am
seang:

love this! the only comment board worth reading--oh yeah
  9:59am
fred von helsing:

hmm the letters of "stunt turntable" can be rearranged to spell runt nut battles, or bat tunnel strut, or butt nut rentals, or lunar butt tents, or rat butt tunnels, or... :-O
  10:00am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

damn, fred has some time on his hands, or he's incredibly quick with anagrams!
  10:03am
dc pat:

forcing the singles creates a whole new world. Most of this stuff I've never heard before. this is great.
  10:08am
still b/p:

fred von helsing is the fresh loving end, man.
  10:15am
seang:

the check is in the mail!
  10:23am
Liz B.:

Thanks, Sean!
  10:43am
Liz B.:

Alright, I'm at 67%! Not too shabby, people, thanks a ton to anyone who pledged!
  10:56am
SmokinJ:

Beautiful set LB..
  10:57am
Jay/ London:

je m'en vais is great !!!
  10:57am
Caroline:

great set!
  11:00am
Ike:

Woo hoo! My creaky old heap just passed inspection at the DMV, and I didn't have to play a cassette while waiting in the long, barely-moving line of vehicles because your show was on. I even left it on when they took the car to test it, and the DMV guys didn't turn it off, so they got a dose of you too. Maybe they'll pledge. Heh.
  11:02am
SmokinJ:

Congrats Ike!
  11:11am
Carmichael:

Good morning, rockstars.
  11:11am
dom:

Hey!

Where's the Boomgates 7?

Well....I relaly like that one....but so be it...this set is stil la bunch of fun....!
  11:14am
Carmichael:

I would pay to hear a song by the Lunar Butt Tents.
  11:15am

  11:24am
Jay/ London:

  11:48am
Jay/ London:

  11:49am
Brass Knuckles:

  11:52am
Liz B.:

That last song "Diogenis" kicked serious ass!
  11:58am
pierre:

where in France ? if you don't mind me asking…
  1:53pm
Andy:

Hey Liz!! Thanks for playing Pink Films and San Francisco Water Cooler, I'm in both bands and put out the latter record. Also I'm an ex-KDVS DJ, yaaaaaa.
  4:18pm
Miniskirts/Itchies:

Thanks for playing our record, Liz! We are honored to be included among your faves of the year! We never realized that The Miniskirts with The Itchies was suggestive of anything, but now that you mention it...
  1:16pm
Valia:

That last song you played is not a Last Drive song. It's called "Secret Corporations" and it is part of a solo EP that their guitarist released in 1986. You should definitely check the Last Drive! THEY are the best greek rock band! Back in the 80s WFMU used to play them frequently; I remember, the Hound liked them a lot. They are still alive and kicking.
