  9:05am ausmanx:

hey scott, we've gone to summer time here in sydney so i'm going to miss out on most of your show for the next six months! damn! but hi for the remaining part of my shift after midnight, and i guess i'll be heading into the archives...
  9:05am bruceleh:

Yo Scott
Checking in with my new Smith & Nephew Genesis II Oxinium knee replacement
  9:11am ?:

Hey hey, good morning to your new knee!
  9:12am Scott:

ausmanx; no problem there's always the archives, you may catch up next autumn!
  9:17am jmr3:

man I love Young Marble Giants
  9:30am Scott:

me too! I tell ya what.
  9:37am Cecile:

Oooh, bruceleh, that's in my near-to-medium range future.
  9:38am Cecile:

ausmanx, summer in Sydney is one of my most fond memories. Grilling at Christmas!
  9:41am Cecile:

Something from Basket of Light puh-retty please?
  9:45am pierre:

Bonjour Scott !
Bonjour dear listeners !
  9:45am bruceleh:

I wanted to do both @ same time, but orthopedic surgeon said no.
After doing just one, I can see why.
The surgery & hospital time isn't that bad, pain management is very good these days.
It's all the physical therapy you have to afterwards, almost a full time job.
  9:45am Scott:

Bonjour Pierre.
  9:47am Cecile:

I know - for the replacement it's tough. I did a lot for arthro 3 yrs ago and my arthritis flareup this year. The first month is the worst.
  9:47am Cecile:

bonjour, pierre!
  9:48am Cecile:

Ha. I wish I would have gotten rich from my prediction in 1999 that 70s British folk was going to be the next big thing.
  9:51am pierre:

Salut Cecile ! ça va ?
  9:51am pierre:

Salut Cecile ! ça va ?
  9:52am pgw in mntclr:

  9:53am Cecile:

Pretty good. I have excellent espresso at hand.
  9:54am Scott:

Depends what you mean by "big" and "rich" cecile! :)
  9:59am Cecile:

As in, I could have made a tidy side income re-releasing Britfolk records to musical adventurers and jaded hipsters. Tidy side incomes = potential retirement money!
  10:14am Dead Corporate Eyes:

good morning folks. My kids hate it when I say "folks".
10:17am yair Yona (Tel Aviv, Earth):

Hi everyone! My fav time of the week!
  10:20am Dead Corporate Eyes:

can there be any argument that Friday has the best energy of any day? I suppose there could, but not from me.
  10:20am Scott:

Hello Yair Yona. Mine, too. :)
  10:21am Cecile:

morning Yair!
I was so proud for you when Irene played your record a couple of weeks ago I just about bust.
10:23am yair Yona (Tel Aviv, Earth):

@Cecil- thanks ;)
  10:23am Cecile:

thank you!
10:24am yair Yona (Tel Aviv, Earth):

This track sounds like Charlie Nothing with Alan's psychedelic breakfast
  10:26am Scott:

  10:35am 2011:

You are not meant to hustle
  10:37am Cecile:

is this playing at the right speed?
  10:37am Dead Corporate Eyes:

uh, yeah!
  10:37am Parq:

No, wait, I liked it that way.
  10:38am Scott:

"Right speed" is so subjective!
10:38am yair yona (tel aviv, Earth):

could have been easily Joana Newsome track, in that wrong speed
  10:38am Cecile:

pitch it up, dog.
11:00am yair yona (tel aviv, Earth):

Thinking about it, it sounds like Steven R Smith's works as Hala Strana. what IS that?
  11:03am Steve Jobs:

My funeral will be held next week, after which he will be reburied every six months in a slightly better coffin.
11:11am yair yona (tel aviv, Earth):

how I love Steve Gunn's playing. when he sings, he sometimes remind me of Kevin Coyne in a weird way
  11:15am Scott:

Wow, the computer just stopped playing! Gremlins!
  11:16am אבי:

where dead air lives! hi scott, hi everybody...this is nice music....
  11:22am אבי:

sorry, didn't mean to jinx anything.
  11:23am Scott:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Sorry folks. This is why I love vinyl. It doesn't just stop playing.
  11:23am Scott:

Comical machines.
  11:26am Scott:

I just ate it.
  11:28am Scott:

The computer, I mean.
  11:37am Maralade kitty:

Hi Scott & listeners all! Steve Gunn is great, thanks!!
  11:38am Dead Corporate Eyes:

never trust a computer
11:40am yair yona (tel aviv, Earth):

his track alone on the Three Lobed boxset worth the entire box. the other stuff are brilliant as well, don't get me wrong.
  11:40am Gunner Nelson:

I'm sure I can miss the first 15 minutes of Bryce's show. The next 30 minutes will be exactly the same. Win!
  11:41am Scott:

Gunner Nelson. now that's funny!
  11:41am Scott:

It's spelled Gunnar though, dude.
  11:47am Scott:

OK guys, a couple pledges please here before the show ends, if you dig what's happening. We can do better than 13%. Press the "pledge" button, yes?
  11:58am northguineahills:

When is this Richard Youngs from?
  11:59am Scott:
