  3:09pm
Civilian:

Can I get this at Walmart, too? or only at Target?
  3:10pm
Looms:

Welcome back, Kurt! Hope you enjoyed the "old continent".
  3:14pm
DJ KG:

thanks! and thanks for tuning in!
  3:17pm
Parq:

Much like with the Kamikaze-to-Brian switch on Tuesdays, the segue from Bryce to Kurt often happens without my noticing it. Welcome back, KG, with kudos to David S for some fine fill-ins.
  3:18pm
DJ KG:

even with the scratchy 45, parq?
  3:24pm
Looms:

David did an excellent job indeed.
  3:24pm
Civilian:

the scratchiness on 45s can sound a lot like an art noise overlay
  3:28pm
Carmichael:

Hi Kurt, hi everyone. I concur with the prevailing David opinion.
  3:30pm
northguineahills:

I always thought Larry Polansky and Paul Lansky should collaborate some time.
  3:40pm
Civilian:

I bet this is burdock roots music
  3:41pm
cjm_bklyn:

I think we need an equivalent to the Burdocks Festival in VT right about now
  3:45pm
northguineahills:

I always loved Goodbye 20th Century, but it seemed at the time I was in the minority.
  3:48pm
Looms:

@NGH: do you really wanna know what the majority is listening to? ;)
  3:53pm
Mike East:

Welcome back, Kurt. Interesting sounds so far.
  3:54pm
cjm_bklyn:

Randy in NC:

Just wanted to say, I have Silver Apples of the Moon, Wild Bull, Touch, and 4 Butterfles on their original vinyl. They were among my favorite records back in the 70's. Thanks!
  4:15pm
northguineahills:

@Randy in NC: as well do I.
  4:17pm
bruceleh:

To George Lewis:
I'm about half-way through "A Power Stronger Than Itself", enjoying it very much, many thanks for this tour-de-force!
  4:18pm
northguineahills:

My only problem w/ the new Roulette, is the separation between the front row seats ($100) and the other seats ($35). This isn't 1900 Vienna. I abhor such fissures. However, not too much, b/c I can't pass up an opportunity to see Anthony Braxton again.
  4:22pm
mordred:

This is very Frank, Inca Roads period. Bruce Bickford animation!!
  4:28pm
northguineahills:

@bruceleh: I need to fetch that book myself.
  4:37pm
Looms:

Nice job, Morton!
  4:38pm
Randy in NC:

Wish I was still living in NYC to see this...
  4:42pm
LP:

Harry Partch on Red Bull !!!
!!!Yay!!!
  4:52pm
Inner Ear Detour:

Kurt -- A great homecoming, this show. I had a delightful time usurping Friday afternoons while you were gone.

For Morton: Can you talk about the influence of McLuhan's Understanding Media back in your SF days?
  5:01pm
Julie OBX:

It's Kurt! he's back!
  5:29pm
Kees, Nijmegen (NL):

northguineahills:: "This isn't 1900 Vienna."

No, it IS.
