	6:19pm M>C>: I have been through the eye of 3 major hurricanes (Francis, Jeanne, Wilma) and they do suck up my shingles and blow down my citrus trees, they also offer some of the wildest weather on the planet (only volcanoes compare in power) and like any serious thrill ride, are exhilarating, with the freshest air and water you'll ever feel.

	6:33pm Mike East: I felt it on W55th st. Pipes started shaking back and forth. My initial thought was that we were being bombed. I don't know why my mind goes there first. I'm glad no one was hurt.
	6:36pm Ike: Hey Mike East, if I had noticed it, I might've thought it was a bomb too. I've lived near Belleville for a while. I keep hearing I should go to La Sicilia and Topaz Thai, but I haven't yet.
	6:40pm BSI: Never experienced an earthquake before, but oddly my first thought was: oh, cool. Mild earthquake. ... the only shock was finding out it was a fairly strong one, distant...
	6:47pm Mike East: That plane that landed on the hudson could be seen out of my office window, but I think I was in the bathroom when it passed by. All I saw was police activity.

	6:56pm J J: I've lived in California and earthquakes were the least of my worries. Fires, flash floods, landslides, traffic accidents, cancer causing smog and vapid Hollywood types.
