  6:20am fred:

Good morning tombom, hamburger, JC, B Wad and Jelly Jim! The UK is representing today! I see that Danne's showing up early last week wasn't the start of a trend.
  6:20am Lonious Monk:

  6:22am fred:

Hi Lonious Monk! You'll have to join us parisian listeners for a drink and gig someday, unless you did already.
  6:24am tombom:

it's sad how there's like no scottish listeners, we're all from the south east
  6:25am Jelly Jim:

Hello all, dont get us UKers talking about the weather, we will never stop
  6:27am Jelly Jim:

how about that Im in Kent too !
  6:28am Brian in UK:

Swell colours. Could just dive into 'em.
  6:28am fred:

tombom, I'm sure there's someone listening in Glasgow, there's too much happening there. Maybe it's too early for them though. Did you go to the R. Stevie Moore gig we talked about?
  6:29am DJ Keili:

  6:29am Jelly Jim:

and its raining now, oh no Im talking about the weather now.!
  6:30am Esteban (NJ):

Leftover tofu panang for breakfast (oddly, it complemented Kate Bush). I made a new batch of rice, though, because it makes breakfast special. Now sipping yesterday's coffee (I dare not wake anyone with the grinder).
  6:31am Jelly Jim:

Nice sounds Keili
  6:31am DJ Keili:

Its raining here too. And I'm mad.
Hi New Joisey Esteban!
  6:31am Lonious Monk:

Hello Fred, hope you're doing well. Of course it'll be a thrill. Let's do that very soon. And if you have nothing planned these following days think 'south' we do organize a nice festival. You're all invited wfmu listeners & makers. http://ymlp.com/z8ylnB
  6:33am Lonious Monk:

(Hello Keili!)
  6:33am fred:

Lenious Monk, are you Edouard? Otherwise you must know hm and Pierre, so that should be easy enough to arrange. We might even have met already
  6:35am Lonious Monk:

Fred have your mind been erased? Yes I am. Or maybe not...
  6:35am Esteban (NJ):

@Keili — East Hanover, a stone's throw away. ;)
  6:36am tombom:

no, i didn't get the chance to, sadly :(

i do know someone who's well into the music scene in dundee, it sounds real active+cool
  6:40am fred:

My mind took a few hits with the deadline for internship reports last week (I'm not an intern, but I'm game for celebrating with them). But really the thing's I already suck at remembering names, let alone aliases.
  6:42am fred:

@Lonious Monk: are you doing the last Placard @la générale? I talked with Erik last week, this could be a lot of fun
  6:46am fred:

@tombom: I met the guy and he's so great. I fumbled again by asking a totally wrong question, but he set me straight just right. Hopefully you'll get another chance
  6:48am Lonious Monk:

@ fred : already signed in with feu machin and solo (there is still lots of slots, so we plan to stay the night also) ! Sure it will be very fun ! However, it's kind of sad. La Générale has always been a nice venue. I am not even sure of it's planed to become next...
  6:49am fred:

Keili, thank you so much: Stay Monkey means so much to me. I know you read my mind, so I'm not surprised
  6:49am Jelly Jim:

Sun is out now...Doh! Im doing it again aint I
  6:50am JC:

K, any plans to have Kathleen & Adam back on?
  6:54am Lonious Monk:

I love breakfast with WFMU!
  6:55am muc:

rainin in munich. please one rainy song lol
  6:55am fred:

@LM: They might move to Fontainebleau. There's a huge place (30K square meters) they might get there. It's not a done deal, but it looks promising. Of course it's far from the city, but it would be great for them and open new horizons. If it happens they'll set up a dorm for people to crash in. The timing is poor though: they have to give back the main building next month, and nothing will get done in August. But that would be so great.
  6:57am Sardocasm:

Breakfast is so 1954.
  7:01am Lonious Monk:

what would have been wfmu in the 54?
  7:02am Lonious Monk:

@fred : i'd love to see that.i do really hope it will be well for the guys.
  7:02am fred:

How many Zs in that 'laterzzz'?
  7:03am Sardocasm:

A poorly xeroxed left-wing newspaper being handed out on a streetcorner.
  7:04am DJ Keili:

@Fred - awww, OF COURSE I read your mind. Thats awesome. You're very welcome!
  7:05am DJ Keili:

@Fred - 11.7
  7:05am Jelly Jim:

Hmm, wasnt that "oooha ooh" in Stay Monkey from Video Killed The Radio Star by Buggles
  7:05am Lonious Monk:

@ Keili : ouah! thank you, i did not heard of Marnie Stern. Loving this track.
  7:06am DJ Keili:

Hey Sardocasm! You mean like THE UNIVERSAL SIGH? Don't diss my boys. Haha.

@JC - No set plans, but I really hope I do!
  7:06am Bob in DC:

Hey Keili! Hey Beastin' crew!
  7:07am DJ Keili:

  7:08am DJ Keili:

  7:08am Bob in DC:

Wow -- the playlist is pink.
  7:10am Sardocasm:

*waves* No diss intended. How can one not be a fan of small, strange news sources?
  7:10am Jelly Jim:

@ DJ Keili Yup I think so,
  7:13am fred:

I guess you missed the wedding, but I hope you heard ALF's EP. It's so good I feel bound to harass him for another LP now.
I know you're fluent in Japanese, so here are some links for you: http://www.meiyukan.com/ and their pals http://www.corecrew33.com/2011/03/post_223.html
  7:13am Elwyn:

Hey everyone!
  7:16am fred:

Hi stormtrooper Elwyn! What are you working on today?
  7:18am Bob in DC:

In honor of Kathleen Hanna, the other week (July 24) was the 20th anniversary of her hosting the first meeting of Riot Grrrl. Which happened right here in Arlington, VA, believe it or not.
  7:18am JC:

K, hope so too, that was a great interview. Hanna 2fer!
  7:20am Lonious Monk:

micachu, the only time i have seen them was amazing!
  7:20am JC:

  7:21am fred:

Yeah for another Kathleen Hanna interview. KH=awesome, blow up the awesome-o-meter again!
  7:25am Lucas:

Hi Keili! Hi Fred and Lonious Monk, HI listeners, nice to be awake again.
  7:27am fred:

Hi Lucas! Long time no see, hope that means you're busy
  7:28am Danne D:

Yay! ::) Sounding good Keili :)

HI everyone :)
  7:29am Lucas:

@Fred: Yes, im quite busy now. And you, how are you doing these days?
  7:29am DJ Keili:

Hi Lucas!
  7:30am DJ Keili:

  7:30am Lonious Monk:

hello Lucas!
  7:31am fred:

Danne D! Awake? Now where's Richard from Venezuela?
@ Lucas: bored. Nothing's happening in Paris these days
  7:32am Lucas:

@Fred: there is Paris Plage :)
  7:32am Danne D:

Not really awake Fred.

That last song was very dreamlike too :)
  7:33am Danne D:

how are you feeling Keili? good i hope

where is sharoro?
  7:33am Elwyn:

@Fred: Tidying up my apartment. I realised my t-shirt cannon is prohibited in Australia. I wish it wasn't. It was ready for last night's roller deby but there were on-duty and off-duty police there last night.
I need to think of something cool to make for next month's grand final. My favourite team Team Unicorn (The Horny Rollers) are playing.
I think a Trojan Unicorn is out of my skill level and budget.
  7:37am DJ Keili:

@Danne D - VERY WELL! :D ... Pssh that playuhz out to lunch without permission
  7:37am DJ Keili:

  7:37am Lucas:

@Keili: who is taking this pictures Keili?
  7:39am Danne D:

hi stormtrooper Elwyn :)

Don"t the Aussies know that a stormtrooper needs a cannon?

Glad that you doing very well :) You are my hero for being so brave :)
  7:41am Esteban (NJ):

I love this song (Blouse). ;)
  7:42am fred:

@Elwyn: I'm sure your dedication more than makes up for your lack of budget and skill (and I think you're selling yourself short on the latter). Do something, I'm sure whatever you can come up with, even just showing up, will be a boost for them.
  7:43am B Wad:

Baby, mellow my mind
  7:44am fred:

We want sharoro!
  7:57am Elwyn:

@Danne D: The police don't like it when we carry somethings around. In general, we don't take our guns out in public because most of the Star Wars guns are modified versions of real life ones.
There's an Australian production of Beauty and the Geek this week which I'm going to as an audience member. They are going to play a local roller derby team. Might dress up for that.
Feel slightly sad tonight because I took a risk and asked out a player and she's got somebody.

@Fred: I know that for the afterparty or the change room, I'll get some unicorn pinatas. In Australia, there's a brand of cigarettes Winfield Blues, nicknamed "Winnie Blues". One of my friends/favourite players has the roller derby name "Winnie Bruise". Going to put some of those in the pinata along with tiny bottles of alcohol.
I want to do something else as well.
  8:00am Lucas:

@Elwyn: but what happens when you're beating the piñata? Maybe some bottles can be broken...
  8:00am Seminal:

mornin' from near Chicago
  8:01am DJ Keili:

Heyyy Seminal
  8:02am Seminal:

this is a refreshing soundscape..
  8:09am Sharoro Keilii's Unicorn:

Hey Beasters! What's up?!
  8:10am Sharoro Keilii's Unicorn:

Ca Va, Hola!, Tak! Buon Giorno, I'm a uni-versal uni-corn
  8:11am fred:

Sharoro in da house!
  8:12am Sharoro Keilii's Unicorn:

Forgot my neighbors in Canadia - Goodday ay!
  8:12am Lisa:

What's up everyone? Great show DJ Keili! Love the new equipment.
  8:13am Lisa:

Sharoro, Tak doesn't mean hello or good day. It means Yes.
  8:13am Lucas:

Hola Sharoro el Unicornio de Keili
  8:14am Lucas:

in polish
  8:15am Sharoro:

Hola Lucas! De donde eres?
  8:17am Sharoro:

are you guys enjoying this live session with Grooms?
  8:17am JohnnyCash:

Benihana breakfast - making pancakes on the griddle in the living room while watching cartoons
  8:17am Elwyn:

@Lucas: Ah! I've planned ahead for that! I've got a LOT of unused foam padding from when I built my stormtrooper costume.
  8:18am Lucas:

@Sharoro: Soy de Colombia pero vivo en Francia
  8:19am Lucas:

@Elwyn: A nice idea. I would like to be in your piñata then :o!
  8:22am Mama:

Hey Johnny Goo! I love you! xoxoxo
  8:22am Lucas:

@Sharoro: and you Sharoro, where are you based?
  8:23am Lisa:

Oooh! y por que estas en Francia? Para que?
  8:23am DJ Keili:

  8:24am Sharoro:

I'm based out of Keili's bedroom. I stay mostly on her bed nowadays. She can't sleep without me. But before that I was citizen of the world.
  8:24am Lucas:

@Lisa: para comer queso y estudiar.
  8:24am Lisa:

You mean Fromage, no?
  8:25am Mama:

I want pancakes! With Blueberries in them and blueberry sauce on them. mmmm
  8:26am Lucas:

@Lisa: yes
  8:26am Lonious Monk:

  8:26am Lisa:

Eddie Izzard hitting girl with baguette. lol
  8:27am Esteban (NJ):

@ elwyn — I love the concept of broken glass, alcohol, and cigarettes spraying about as the poor piñata is smashed. Pinatas birthing a cloud of addictive pleasure, what next?
  8:27am fred:

Hey Lisa/Sharoro/DJ Mama, stop playing games with my pal Lucas will ya?!
  8:28am Lisa:

haha I'm SAWWWY...
  8:29am Richard from Venezuela:

Good morning Keili, DJ Mama and all the listeners.
  8:29am Sharoro:

Fred - I have no idea what you're talking about. I am a magical unicorn who lives on DJ Keili's bed, mostly.
  8:29am DJ Mama:

  8:30am Lucas:

@Sharoro: you are lucky :) You have what all unicorns must want :)
  8:30am Lucas:

Yo Richard!
  8:30am Elwyn:

@Lucas: Can you shrink to Smurf size?

I loved the sound of that last song. Reminded me of Teenage Riot by Sonic Youth in a good way.
  8:31am Sharoro:

She forgets to feed me. She forgets I exist most of the time. But then, every once in a while, she remembers me. And let me tell you, when she remembers me, it's all worth it.
  8:31am Lonious Monk:

(nice live!)
  8:31am Richard from Venezuela:

@DJMama: Apenas despertándome. Me he perdido mucho programa. Es bueno saber que quedan archivados por siempre.
  8:32am Lucas:

@Fred: Thanks Fred :)
@Keili: Nice live set :)
  8:32am Elwyn:

@Keili, if you love all those jingles so much, why don't you have a Fundamentalist LDS polygamous marriage to them all? :-)

Should put them in Marathon premium together.
  8:33am Lucas:

@Sharoro: ask somme pancakes to DJ mama!!
  8:34am Lucas:

@Elwyn: Sorry, i could shrink to Smurf size but no anymore?
  8:37am JC:

You cut Beckham loose already?!
  8:37am fred:

Richard is here! We're all in then!
@Sharoro: You haven't been so sharp lately, but I'm sure you'll make up for it. You're on duty now, watch over K and make sure she's OK from now on.
  8:38am Elwyn:

I think WinAmp have always had llamas as their mascot. Back when I first downloaded it, I remember that the first audio file it plays by default was "Winamp, it really whips the llama's ass"
  8:39am Torbjørn:

Big dork checking in.
The Winamp llama, "Mike The Llama", has been the winamp logo since the late 90's.
I have no idea as to exactly why that is, but good family-friendly dork humor seems to be the reason.
  8:39am Sardocasm:

Keili is an cool girl and seh doesn't afraid of anything.
  8:39am DJ Keili:

It really helps.
  8:41am Esteban (NJ):

I think playlist skipped the Bikini Kill? Sing that opened the set.
  8:42am DJ Keili:

Oooh! Almost, not Bikini Kill. It's "Boyfriend Application" by Finally Punk. But thanks for reminding me!
  8:42am Lonious Monk:

Keili, what was the amazing song playing just before EMA?
  8:43am Sardocasm:

*tips hat*
  8:43am Lonious Monk:

  8:43am DJ Keili:

I play it every week! And I really am accepting boyfriend applications! Find it at wfmu.org/playlists/kh!
  8:49am Esteban (NJ):

@ mystery track — Ah, not Bikini Kill ;).
@ NJ — The suns out, warm and cheery.
@ coffee — need more!
  8:56am Lonious Monk:

Yes ! Aoki Takamasa !
  8:56am fred:

@Sharoro: come back will you? I wasn't really questioning your magic! I trust you.
  8:57am fred:

Tujiko Noriko!
  8:58am DJ Keili:

  8:59am Danne D:

Yay Sharoro was here :) Always a welcome presence :) As is DJ Mam :) as is everyone :)

  9:00am Lonious Monk:

  9:00am Lonious Monk:

  9:00am Lucas:

Nice ending!
  9:01am Richard from Venezuela:

From Japan i like the music of Shugo Tokumaru. And the visual kei movement.

And as Danne D said, thanks again Keili for this sunday morning. Hope you have a great week.
  9:01am Lonious Monk:

(i meat nice *show)
  9:01am Danne D:
