  7:13pm
Roy Boy:

What a rare treat to have the house and shared laptop to myself so I can listen live to WFMonica. Just read that they are staging a production of "Mamma Mia" in China, the first Chinese staging of a Western musical. Herregud, what I wouldn't give to witness some of that!
  7:13pm
dale:

cheri. i hate you.
  7:13pm
hellbilly13:

Withers into Watson ...two smooth cats!
  7:13pm

  7:40pm
cheri:

ohhhhh monica was'nt les baxter the musical arranger for those wonderful beach party movies??
  7:40pm
Davice:

I love lists - it is the only way to remember what you need to do! Of course if I loose my list - I'm lost.
  7:40pm
hellbilly13:

Alas, I am completely listless.
  7:41pm
jaysin:

Ala Fight Club. Its about rules. You must follow them.
  7:42pm
cb1:

I need to make more lists - always wondering what was that thing I needed to do, or buy, or email, or...
  7:43pm
Roy Boy:

I make so many lists my wife used to call me Listy Listerson; records to listen to, restaurants to try, etc. The latter came in handy when I was getting ready to leave Chicago and made sure I visited as many spots as I could before I left. Agree with you--it's all about feeling a sense of accomplishment and keeping some semblance of control in a crazy, chaotic world.
  7:46pm
sugarwolf:

I write down lists of books I want to buy/check out from library.
  7:47pm
cheri:

monica--i want to know do you think reaching 30 is past anybodys prime??
  7:47pm
cb1:

Yes, the best part of a list is crossing things off!
  7:48pm
cb1:

Cheri - I have past my prime twice and heading around for a third time.
  7:48pm
Drew:

Greetings from Bed-Stuy, Mo. Your show makes waiting around the apartment with the cat for falafel delivery seem like the jazziest, coolest thing I have ever done.
My father was an extensive, compulsive list maker. Carried them around on index cards, even on weekends. Even minute stuff, like "move sprinkler" and "eat dinner." So the thought of it horrifies me.
  7:49pm
sugarwolf:

I carry around a list of shades of makeup and nail polish I have, so I know what I have when I am at the store.
  7:49pm
monica:

sounds about right to me, jaysin.... exactly, sugarwolf!... good call, aido,..dunno, cheri, was he?...Agree, Davice... You're probably better off, Hellbilly...right on, Jaysin...
  7:50pm
aido:

cheri... thirty ain't nothin'. you're still a tadpole.stop worryin' and live.
  7:51pm
hank:

wow...
  7:52pm
hellbilly13:

cheri ... At 30, your prime is still far off in the distance.
  7:53pm
monica:

CB1, if I don't write it down, forget about it! Literally.... Good boy, Roy Boy!...Sugarwolf, a woman after my own heart...Hola, Drew!! Love that story....wowza to you, hank...
  7:54pm
sugarwolf:

I don't like making top ten lists (movies, music, etc) I know there are many music nerds into that, but I just can't do it.
  7:54pm
Listener Schned:

A) Numero Uno If you happen to be Virgo or have any Virgo aspects, you're doomed to doing the list(s).
B) This time of year I'm between 2 locations so, yer gonna love this, I actually keep a list (on promo scrap paper of course) which has arrows, up for what I need to bring from the city, and down for what needs to get back to the ghetto :)
As long as I don't fergit to carry the damn list, it's really a little bit of alright- thx for the drums!!
  7:55pm
trsh:

Lists? A lot of the time just making them is enough for me to remember the contents, though that takes a bit of extra that's not there say, at the groc-store on an empty stomach.
  7:55pm
aido:

hellbilly: depending on what ive imbibed the night before. i can list all over the place the next day.
  7:55pm
cheri:

monica,,do you have any spike jones with you tonight??
  7:56pm
jaysin:

Move dat azz!
  7:56pm
hellbilly13:

aido...I'm currently listing a bit to the left myself.
  7:56pm
Winona Ryder:

So shoplifting confessions was a one-time-only thing? Shit.
  7:57pm
Lindsay Lohan:

yeah wtf!
  7:58pm
cb1:

Listener Schned,
Fortunately no Virgo. Scorpio and Taurus. And been there on the back and forth routine .. oh, yes.

By the way, Mo, great show!
  7:58pm
aido:

hellbilly: list away, brudduh!! it's awright!!
  7:58pm
trsh:

Missing (MIA) lists are the BEST for offloading the stress of 'missing crap'. It's like tossing in the clutch and shifting it all into the no-stress zone of the sub- or is it the unconscious? Doesn't work for missing people, though - figuratively or otherwise,
  7:59pm
monica:

Not for you, Winona!...You too, Linds.... trsh, the love is in the list...Damn, Listener Schned, you broke it down with a list!
  8:00pm
jaysin:

I want fries
  8:01pm
6 year old:

Everyday I make up a list of fun stuff to do. It's my play list.
  8:03pm
cb1:

The most important list of the year happens for the CBs on New Year's Eve. We use a red pen and write in groups of threes all the things we want for the coming year. We put it in a red envelope and mail it to ourselves. Next New Year's we read last years list. Always surprising to see what came true. (Always telling cb2 not to write down world peace - stick to things that could actually happen. He's such a dreamer...)
  8:03pm
aido:

the gang at mona's swears by "LISTerine". you can't go wrong!!
  8:04pm
cheri:

mo let me guess no spike tonight??
  8:04pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Hi Monica, nice set!
  8:06pm
Jumpin Jack Flash:

Cheri died, with a Spike right through her head
  8:07pm
oobe:

can you please wish a happy birthday for Greg DuHaime in Hamburg, New Jersey? if you do, you will make many people glow with happiness. Thank you so much.
  8:08pm
sugarwolf:

My lists are all in Hello Kitty and Sanrio notebooks.
  8:09pm
JCC Macabe Athelete:

Oh yeah! I am great.
  8:09pm
skim milk:

listener Carl
  8:10pm
Roy Boy:

Hmm, was this show inspired by the Eric Idle number you played three weeks ago (i.e. 6/26/11)? Could it be...Listomania!
  8:12pm
aido:

monica-
i still make my lists with a pencil and pad of paper i carry around each and every day. i never know when or where i'm gonna think of something or someone mentions something i want to list. i think the older we get, the more we have to do this stuff, sadly.
  8:12pm
dale:

just wiki'd biff. interesting and worth listening to more of his stuff
  8:12pm
Kevin in 'Things to Do' sketch:

"Things to do, things to do today. Got a big day ahead of me, several things to do. Gotta keep on top of my life, gotta keep on top of my life. I have seven things to do. Number one: Banking..."
  8:13pm
cheri:

well monica time for me to scoot thnx for the company and thank you monica for playin nancy ,,i just love nancy!!!!
  8:14pm
12539:

Mostly I use old envelopes, but for longer-term lists I use a small black notebook which rarely leaves my person. I love the tactility of pen and paper.

Also - good show so far!
  8:14pm
cb1:

OK, I finally heard something Ms. Sinatra I rather liked. Don't tell cb2
  8:15pm
skim milk:

cb is someone I know
  8:16pm
hank:

  8:18pm

  8:20pm
cheri:

  8:22pm
JCC Macabe Athelete:

Feel my greatness! I don't even need to go to Israel, where the actual competition exists. My parents have paid for a similar (fake) local experience, so I will bask in my winning here instead.
  8:26pm
aido:

  8:39pm
JCC Macabe Athelete:

List of shit I have to do- it never ends. I am the list keeper but none of that is remotely interesting. Sorry Your show is hard to be relevant on as a real person. With thoughts to share and all.
  8:41pm
hellbilly13:

Cerys has a great voice.
  8:45pm
listener gary:

After the first set I went out to sit in the yard and the welcome cool of the evening. I only make grocery lists which I often forget to consult. But at least I make them. Best...
  8:46pm

Don (minister of props):

Hi Boss - I like the punk book of lists. I still use pen and notepad (PDA). From the 'get your spirit on meets the devil and deep blue sea dept.' Shirley Caesar is my adopted preacher. And the isle of Coney hosted Joan Jett on Thurs. She's drinking outta the fountain of youth. Kenny Laguna is still with the show. Nice trippy Paulie.
