Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

  6:11pm Clay:

TY Matt and welcome.
  6:12pm Night Al:

Chicago's guitarist sets his Marshall up in the wings and mikes it...it's all you can hear when you work the show.
  6:13pm seang:

What's up Clay, listening in from Boston
  6:13pm Clay:

RIP Terry Kath, Al.
  6:14pm Clay:

Seang, good to hear from you. I visited Paul Revere's grave in Boston.
  6:14pm phillip:

wish i could have run into you clay at union square. hopefully next time. working on making my way up before the year ends.
  6:15pm Matt from Springfield:

"Please Come To Boston", that was written by...Dave Loggins. But I actually heard a version by David Allan Coe of all people before the original.
  6:15pm Night Al:

I heard he warned the British we were coming...traitor!
  6:16pm Clay:

Hope you make it here, Phil. Yes, Al, he was ringin' them bells. Matt - never heard the Coe. Love this Terry Reid, never really listened to him before.
  6:16pm Lulu:

  6:17pm Clay:

He was doing something with bells...
  6:17pm phillip:

  6:23pm Clay:

Yeah, Al. I like it. Better than I thought it would be.
  6:26pm Night Al:

being the liberal I am...I would still love to see a game changer like Dennis Kucinich in the oval office...I even emailed Michael Moore and asked him to consider politics.
  6:27pm Ant:

Clay, I'm surprised no one's asked (perhaps Fabio has), do you love America? and what's your M.o.p.a.l.t.w?
  6:27pm Matt from Springfield:

Romney is the "safe choice", the only one competitive in a General Election, at least able to capture "Anybody But Obama" votes without turning off independents. And yet, he is so UNPALATABLE to the GOP base, that they risk massive apathy and/or third party defections if he becomes the nominee.
  6:28pm phillip:

any answer from moore al?
  6:28pm Night Al:

I konw Clay...and he is America....you sir...
  6:28pm Clay:

Had to slow Paul down a touch. Chipmunks.
  6:29pm Night Al:

No answer from Moore...
  6:29pm phillip:

when will bachmann crash and burn?
  6:30pm Matt from Springfield:

@Clay: Like Julie once said, only wimps change their mike batteries BEFORE they get low! You gotta live on the EDGE!

And even this Paul McC "Tomorrow" is living on the edge, because it's great and I've never heard of it before now!
  6:30pm Clay:

Ant ... good observations. You, too, Matt. Don't feel bad, Al. Dennis De Young never wrote me back about being on the show either.
  6:30pm Night Al:

Paul edged John and George out as my favorite Beatle...
  6:31pm phillip:

  6:31pm Clay:

  6:32pm Matt from Springfield:

  6:34pm Night Al:

  6:38pm Matt from Springfield:

  6:40pm Night Al:

ahhhhh weeeed!!
  6:40pm Matt from Springfield:

I'm with phillip, stop fussing over a (fairly good) comment count! Besides, if you want more comments, pose questions to the board.

(Ask about what we had for lunch, or even ask about goats...surprisingly those were very hot topics in the past month on other boards!)
  6:41pm 12539:

Too busy listening to comment.
  6:43pm paula pc:
