Dave B.:

@Pierre an early Joyeux Anniversaire
  6:27am
Elwyn:

@Dave: I'm back under 400 FB friends. I got a concerned comment and a concerned message when I said I hated conservative Christians.

I used to come to work even when I was sick but these days, I have learnt to appreciate time off as a form of quality time with PlayStation!
  6:28am
Elwyn:

Happy birthday Dave!
  6:29am
pierre:

aquarius in the house (apparently)
  6:29am
pierre:

Merci beaucoup Dave B. & Meghan
  6:29am
Chuck:

Jeez, Elwyn! I don't think I even KNOW 400 people much less be able to call them friends...
  6:30am
Dave B.:

Depends who's zodiac you follow. Though I was born before the shift, so I'm holding on to my Aquarianism, thankyouverymuch
  6:32am
Meghan:

I am an Aquarius no matter what one I follow! I am a TRUE Aquarian!
  6:32am
Dave B.:

Hey Meg - FCC auditing again? (label column instead of groovy images)
  6:33am
Meghan:

yeppers....... and I had a migraine last night, so I didn't look them up ahead of time.....
  6:35am
Chuck:

Of course all that zodiac stuff is complete BS, as we all know...
  6:36am
pierre:

Yeah, i'm holding on to my Aquarianism as well. I mean : Edouard Manet, Jules Vernes, and Tom Selleck, that must mean something.
  6:37am
Dave B.:

Let's not forget Ronnie Regan!
  6:37am
Dave B.:

(ducks and covers)
  6:38am
Meghan:

Off subject.... but I was watching the end of a movie with Tom Selleck in it, and he had his shirt unbuttoned..... that man was HAIRY! I was shocked! Must be why he grows an amazing mustache!
  6:39am
Elwyn:

@Chuck: well, it's mainly you guys who bother posting on my crud and that's why I love you.

This whole change of zodiac sign dates is hilarious. Reminds me the Weird Al song "your horoscope for today".
Speaking of Weird Al, I might be performing at some of his shows. He's request various Star Wars custume owners at his shows and i'm about to finish mine and about to join the organisation he asked. :-)
  6:39am
Chuck:

Hehe... My mom used to have sort of a crush on Selleck...
  6:41am
Dave B.:

Selleck is a furry beast. I was too until Mondays appointment at the cardiologist.

Now I'm a Man-o-lantern.

It has the sensation of velcro against t-shirts, and itches like crazy. I want my pelt back!
  6:41am
Meghan:

She had a thing for Magnum huh?
  6:42am
Chuck:

Yup, she also dug Jack Lord from the original Hawaii Five-O show... hehe...
  6:43am
Chuck:

I'll save you some of G'Kar's tufts that he loses all the time, Dave! Break out the rubber cement!
  6:43am
pierre:

: ) apparently you can eat Tom.

  6:44am
Elwyn:

@Dave: I find it amazing how Reagan's life has been so well airbrushed by Republicans. I know I'm a bit young to remember the details but he was a bit nuts.

@Meghan: was the rug that scary that you can't shake the memory of it?
  6:45am
Meghan:

Ha! Nice Pierre! Though he needs a more fur on the chest!

And Yes it was Elwyn!
  6:46am
Dave B.:

Another hairy Tom
http://ris.fashion.telegraph.co.uk/RichImageService.svc/imagecontent/1/TMG7810937/p/tom-jones_1653017a.jpg

Break out the eye bleach. It cannot be unseen.
  6:47am
pierre:

yes, i think so to, but the flowers kind of do the trick as well
  6:47am
Dave B.:

@Chuck - that reminds me of the Little Rascals where they were making money mowing lawns...
  6:48am
Meghan:

I like the cake version better...... more rugged....
  6:48am
Elwyn:

@Dave: That last photo just made me ill.

I have to admit that I do like the scene in "Lassiter" where Tom massages Jane Seymour and you see her nice bum. Thankfully, Tom is wearing a bathrobe.
  6:48am
Dave B.:

WOW!

K-TEL!

There's a blast from the past!
  6:48am
swampsucker don:

reagan should never be forgiven for using the iranian hostages to hijack the presidency!
  6:49am
Meghan:

Though Tom Jones back in the day was rather buff, huh?
  6:50am
Dave B.:

Thun

  6:52am
Dave B.:

ooh.... gotta contact Scott for some volunteer shifts.
  6:52am
Elwyn:

I first heard Pac-Man Fever via Liz Berg's marathon premium from a couple of years ago. It was really good and full of computer game tunes etc.
  6:54am
Elwyn:

Any word if Yo La Tengo have confirmed for the marathon yet? They haven't emailed everyone yet...
  6:56am
Meghan:

Yes.... I think they have.... on Monica's show..... with Gaylord of course!
  6:57am
Richard from Venezuela:

After the marathon, you will make a playlist about Running, Jogging. Yes, i know is silly. :(
  6:58am

  7:16am
Dave B.:

  7:17am
Meghan:

  7:18am
Dave B.:

  7:18am
Chuck:

RIAA? Bunch of douche bags...
  7:19am
Chuck:

Yeah, I said it! Hope they read it too!
  7:20am
Chuck:

Is anyone else having a channel cut out intermittently?
  7:22am
Chuck:

Bah! No left channel. Is it my gear?
  7:23am
Meghan:

I am getting it out of both my speakers.....
  7:23am
Dave B.:

@chuck - sounding good thru Roku Soundbridge > B&W Panorama. My neighbors downstairs can confirm with a broomstick on their ceiling if they want.
  7:24am
eric:

I have a left channel but it isn't as loud or as clear as the right. Maybe it was just that last track because now it seems to be better.
  7:25am
Meghan:

ahhh, the joy of the broomstick. My neighbors in Chicago hated when I played Coltrane....Got the broomstick many times for that!
  7:25am
Chuck:

Yup, it's my receiver. Think I need to clean some contacts...
  7:27am
Dave B.:

HotRod's show usually got the broomstick too

  7:28am
Chuck:

Meh, same Whitey. Doesn't matter how old...
  7:29am
Chuck:

Say, when did you start at Tallix, Meg? It has been that long...
  7:30am
Elwyn:

When I was a DJ just putting on song requests from CDs at weddings and parties, someone asked me to put on some jazz and I put on Coltrane. They were really upset because they were old codgers who wanted easy listening jazz.
Later that evening, I put on Foo Fighters "Learning to Fly" and a lady went up to me and said "Never ever put that on again". I never found out why she was so serious about that.

Does anyone have any good medical stories?
  7:30am
Jefff:

...or M.O.D. if you're going that route. Although it's probably not the best choice.
  7:33am
Meghan:

I think I started working at Tallix in 98..... or 99...
  7:35am
Dave B.:

Purity Of Essence
  7:36am

  7:41am
Chuck:

  7:43am
Dave B.:

@ Elwyn - an indirect medical story...

Used to silk screen my own t's after getting out of H.S. Went to work for a photocopier place. Was at a hospital wearing one that I took the logo from the cap of a bottle of SoHo Natural Soda. I liked the typography, and the double entdre.

Nurse freaked out a little

"He's wearing a shirt that says "DRINK ME!""
  7:45am
Chuck:

Reminds me of a Newcastle Ale t-shirt I had, Dave! The back read "Have You Had Your Newkie Today?". hehe...
  7:49am
hank:

used to make tennis mortars out of Newcastle brown cans...
  7:51am
Meghan:

That is a rare thing around here. You don't find many beers that are good in cans.... I think i saw a canned Newcastle at a concert recently. I almost fainted out of surprise!
  7:51am
Parq:

Yay, Coconut! Hi, ya'll.
  7:51am
Chuck:

Mortars, Hank? Explain procedure please...
  7:52am
Meghan:

Morning Parq!
  7:53am
SiHV:

EX-cellent theme! I'm home sick for the third day in a row.
  7:54am
Dave B.:

Had a Red Stripe Tall Boy at Southpaw the other week...

Oh, and the first image in this search is the typography i was talking about:

Dave B.:

Can't have a cheese set without the emperor of cheese!
  7:56am
Meghan:

Awww, feel better SiHV.... though I am glad you are being wise and not getting everyone else with your sickness!
  7:58am
Chuck:

Funny that I've never gotten sick because of someone else. I have to do it all on my own, just like everything!
  8:00am
Jorge:

So i was feeling kinda sick today on my way to work, an hour ago i was feeling like really sick and now i feel like i have to go back home and spend the rest of the day in bed.....so ¿thank you? Meghan.....:) its nice to have this charming sickness soundtrack anyways.

all the best from spain
  8:02am
Elwyn:

Here's my medical story and it's bizzarre.
About eight years ago, I was having a period when I had lots of blocked cysts. I was at the GP for some reason and asked him if the lump on my thigh (about half way up between the knee and hip) was a cyst and he said there weren't any cyst nodes around there.
He felt the lump and it was really solid and you could feel it through the skin. He thought it had a hexagon shape and asked me if I had had surgery or anything there and I hadn't. He thought it was a non-natural foreign object because of its solidness and shape. At this point, I thought it was an alien implant. :-D He ordered an ultrasound of it.

A week or so later, I had the ultrasound and an x-ray. I can't remember the medical term but it was natural. At some point years before, probably when I did fencing, a blood vessel had broken and calcium from my blood had solidified around the wound area.

I still have the lump to this day and haven't had it removed.

Werid long story!
  8:04am
Elwyn:

Jorge! Stay home and enjoy time away from work!
  8:06am

If you want to remember high school, how about when you chased Jeff through his antique and rare glass shower door.
  8:07am
Dave B.:

Or a warm-up theme (for the cold weather, and before the marathon)

Daniel's Death Metal Warm Up would work:

  8:07am
Parq:

Although unintentionally, Clay Pigeon did the soundtrack of my high school days on his Irene fill-in this past Monday.
  8:07am
Jorge:

well the worst thing that can happen to you is to realize that you are actually sick at work, no way back man, and yeah i have that "i will kill you" look
  8:07am
Meghan:

awww, feel better Jorge!
  8:07am
dirty old man:

Chuck:

  8:18am
hank:

  8:20am
Chuck:

Think that was a given, Hank. Why else would you come up with the idea of making a projectile launcher? hehe....
  8:20am
Dave B.:

hehehe....no. but before SpudGunning we used the PVC for a giant bong.
  8:22am
Chuck:

We used to make blow guns out of conduit, nails, and twine years ago. You could dart a piece of plywood if you made it right!

Hello Nidrian! Too late for requests... but stay tuned for future themes you can request for!
  8:38am

Just think of all the polyester in landfills...
  8:52am
pierre:

Cold sweat isn't a good feeling but the song is great. By the way, how come there is a lot of soul/blues/rock in that playlist ? i mean thoses "theme parks" have a certain "history of music & the people who create it" aspect.
  8:54am
pierre:

and thanks Meghan/ ♨♨ (couldn't find candles in the special characters)
  8:55am
Elwyn:

OK. This news of the weird is making me sick.

In Gattaca, Ethan Hawke's character goes through something painful to get half a foot in height.

Chuck:
