  7:46am annie:

  7:50am postmanpaul:

What's with the aural clostraphobia, annie?!
  7:52am annie:

you mean the dylan and beatle thing??
  7:53am postmanpaul:

yes
  7:59am annie:

well, when at home i tend to listen to two stations... fmu or WERU out of blue hill maine.. and both stations are bombarding listeners with either the "new" beatles ot the"new" dylan collections.. i haven't heard so much over play of any two albums since the 60s pop stations. and then i go into a deli yesterday and the stupid beatles are playing ad nauseum.. ... .. just cause they're in the new bin seems as if it's mandatory to play them ..
but this is just me.. i know there are tons more who are diggin it.. so i know i'm outnumbered.. i'll shut up. :)
  8:03am fxo:

no, go on ...
  8:04am annie:

hahaha... :D hey i'm still listening, huh? i DO have a sense of perspective and a great sense of humour!
  8:15am Parq:

Loved "Blue Moon".
  8:17am postmanpaul:

Ha! I reckon you're feeling a whole lot better know you've got that off your chest annie! You could be coming down with a dose of Christmas humbug, the symptoms sound familiar for the time of year; it is highly contagious and equally infectious!
What's this nonsense all about, Frank?!
  8:20am annie:

you may have a point , there p. , and, yes, as a matter of fact, i do feel better.. !
  8:34am annie:

this fits so well here, see if you can read this..

  8:37am postmanpaul:

On the subject of xmas humbugery....*schoolboy giggles*, I'm warming to xmas this year, more so than in the recent past; happy feelings are beginning permiate the polar ice-cap of humbug and case-hardened cynicism.
  8:39am annie:

'snice, huh?? i'm pleased for you.. you are due for a good year.. Thank god for walks, eh?
  8:41am fxo:

silly walks?
  8:42am CheriPi:

I agree with you Postman Paul, our views are the minority here.
  8:43am postmanpaul:

The sillier the better fxo!
  8:44am Robert:

So, Annie, the Beatles finally got back together? I knew it was just a matter of time before they settled back down. The break probably didn't improve their music any, though.
  8:46am Robert:

Maybe now they can afford a better barber.
  8:47am annie:

hahaha..!!! it's funny, i hated them when they first came out, just could not figure out what was so special, but i got hooked after the white album
  8:47am CheriPi:

I worry about how much Beatles my pets are listening to at home on the local NPR station. I may need to get my cats an I-phone w/ the FMU app. this year...
  8:49am fxo:

Beatles? not sure if I heard 'em.
  8:49am Robert:

AFAICT nothing really was special about them, but then they used their popularity well to make some really creative stuff for a while until they settled back down into the banal.
  8:50am fxo:

thank you Dr. Roget.
  8:51am Parq:

Annie, Great "Instructions"! Gonna have to post that. Annnnd, I heard my first trashy LCD Christmas music in a store yesterday. Sigh. Grateful they waited, the store windows cranked up in mid October.
  8:51am annie:

right and the straw for the camel's broken back would be a release of all the stupid grateful dead music
  8:53am postmanpaul:

Robert - I found that listening to the White Album many years ago with obligatory sensual stimulants, a seminal experince, man.
  8:59am fxo:

again, thanks for hangin' in.
