A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Loretta Lynn carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

"a balck cat?"
  Tue. 11/2/10 9:44am ?:

Hey, lighten up on the whole "take the day off to vote" Trouble. Here in Chicago, where vote early, vote often, is regarded as a civic responsibility, it does take all day! I mean, so many polling paces to cover, but I miss the old days when the ward bosses took you from place to place, with all you could drink in between. Ah, but there I go, pining for the old days again. Terrific show, but that is redundant. Chicago John
  Tue. 11/2/10 9:45am s:

C'mon, I thought you were my voting guide...
  Tue. 11/2/10 9:46am trouble:

  Tue. 11/2/10 9:55am ?:

You mean like vote for your constituents, without regard for the next election? Naw, I can't remember those days...Chicago John
  Tue. 11/2/10 9:59am trouble:

alf, that did sound like a fun day. I don't know where i would be without the stewart/colbert vibe...
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:00am dc pat:

  Tue. 11/2/10 10:13am dc pat:

man, can't catch a break today....I'll put my head down on the desk...
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:14am Curmudgeon:

I'll just say this about that:
in NYS only dems and reps are allowed to vote in the primaries, leaving out all other voters to choose the parties for election in november. WTF is that all about? Myself, I'm registered independent, but that's ignored..Why should I vote in an election in which I get no point of view or choice? Choose a paper ballot, nonetheless; and be sure your write-in has registered ahead of time or your vote doesn't count in some states. Shit's f-ed up folks.
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:18am marc:

malcolm mclaren does a great song called "jumping in my shirt."
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:20am ffrr)):

Bflo checkin' in, home of sexist, racist, homophobe 'mad as hell' Carl P. Please vote, just not for him.

  Tue. 11/2/10 10:39am dc pat:

Cecile: ah, can't send a message unless you're following me....and you should be...
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:41am Cecile:

I am you should be able to send one from the little gear pulldown thingy. There's nothing on the profile page where you can do it.
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:43am Cecile:

I'm following you now. Der!
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:47am annie:

  Tue. 11/2/10 10:51am Leigh:

Hi Trouble, hi all - did Stu ever find out anything more about Gnoma.D? still hard to find him on the interweb
  Tue. 11/2/10 10:53am trouble:

leigh: Gnoma.D. contacted me but he didn't mention anything about any new music. he sent me to a you tube thing he did with some other guys that wasn't like the Gnoma.D. stuff so much...that's all i can tell you.
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:00am Leigh:

Thanks so much! He's so cool.
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:02am Andrew:

There's a guy up here in Canada named Buck 65 whom I'd say that Gnoma.D guy is ripping off. But maybe it's the other way around... Anyway, VERY similar.
Tue. 11/2/10 11:19am Adrian in London:

Afternoon all.
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:24am trouble:

good day adrian!
Tue. 11/2/10 11:29am Adrian in London:

Well, yes it is. But Danny Baker, former NME journo and broadcaster of the first water has announced he's being treated for cancer. He's a genius of the airwaves and any good thoughts towards him will, I'm sure, be most welcome.
Tue. 11/2/10 11:29am Francis (not the saint):

While going through my dresser this morning, I realized that I have nothing with the color red in it, perhaps I'm missing something, perhaps I need to expand my horizons...so tired of being vertical!
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:33am ffrr)):

Trouble, watched 'An Education' the other day in which Juliette Greco popped up in the story/score. I immediately thought of you, though I can't recall hearing her on your show. Cheers.
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:34am trouble:

red goes very nicely with light blue...I love juliette greco and have most surely played her here on these airwaves!
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:40am Joe:

I just bought this at the record fair for 50 cents! Trouble, you're uncanny.
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:48am trouble:

joe i told you I was a witch...
  Tue. 11/2/10 11:57am trouble:

thanks for tuning in today, and vote please!
