Vicki:

Hello people, how are we?
  7:03pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Doing great, Vicki. How are things in the merry old land of UK?
  7:03pm
Laura L:

Hi Vicki, seems like lots of folks have bailed out for 4th of July weekend already, maybe.
  7:05pm
Vicki:

hello - oh yes, independance - something we all strive for eh?
  7:06pm
Vicki:

this was on youtube, this Louis Armstrong death metal thing, but they took it down a few days ago! Such a shame, it was really beautiful lip syncing.
  7:08pm
Laura L:

Futilely, yes! Because we know we can't really achieve it, we blow up fireworks every 4th of July. That's my understanding of the holiday.
  7:10pm
Vicki:

best have fireworks yes...
although i remember in the Queens Silver Jubilee it was all three legged and sack races. And in halloween you half drown trying to get apples out of a bucket. Or maybe that's just me.
  7:13pm
Rod Stewart:

Love the Maggie Mae samples. XOXOXO Roderick from England
  7:13pm
Vicki:

thanks Roderick
  7:26pm
Brian:

That Louis Armstrong death metal thing has popped back up on YouTube with other URLs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peBYkqKyjAA works as of now)... But I have no idea who did the music.
  7:27pm
Vicki:

oh good! Thanks for the link, it's very nicely done.
  7:29pm
Vicki:

well it's July in the UK, June in NY
  7:33pm
Vicki:

did you get my email reply, Brian?
  7:37pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Holy cow. Was that the original Talking Heads track in there?
  7:37pm
Vicki:

oh oh oh! Big moth flying around in the room!!!
  7:38pm
Vicki:

you'll need to ask Mr Fab - from RIAA - dunno if he's got the playlist open...
  7:40pm
?:

I'm here! Yep, I took the original THeads track and used magic software to isolate the vox as much as possible.
  7:41pm
MrFab:

Oops, didn't put my name.
  7:41pm
Vicki:

I think Mr Fab is a question mark there :) Hello!
  7:42pm
Dan B From Upstate:

It sounded amazing. I really couldn't tell if it was the original or a cover until the end when David Byrne starts talking over himself. Fantastic set, MrFab.
  7:43pm
Vicki:

you should paste some links in here Mr Fab before the end of the show... it will remain...
  7:48pm
Usually Misinformed:

One of the Kipper Kids married Bette Midler, correct?
  7:49pm
Vicki:

  7:51pm
Vicki:

  7:53pm
MrFab:

Dan B From Upstate:

Since I haven't had a chance to comment on the past two shows, I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore insect corner and six degrees of black sabbath. I haven't stayed off of that site since you mentioned it.
  7:54pm
Vicki:

oh good! we'll have both features again next week.
and thanks for the link, Mr Fab - it will remain here with the archive for the podcast and archive listeners of tomorrow!
  7:55pm
Usually Misinformed:

I heard that Mr. Kipper walked out on the premiere of Hocus Pocus.
  7:56pm
Vicki:

  7:58pm
MrFab:

An honor as always, thanks again Vicki.
