  4:40am (mta) Tony:

Marty, when you indicate the song came out in 2010 as in this case (Dynomite) do you mean it came out in 2010 or it was first recorded in 2010? Sometimes an old song gets newly released and is identified as being new whereas it's really old and just the issuance of the song is new on CD. Please clarify and forgive me for not knowing.
  4:42am marty:

i post when the cd or lp that im playing it off of was released. if i can fine the og, release date easly ill liet is like 2010/1974
  4:46am matt f:

  4:50am (mta) Tony:

Oh, I see Marty, thanks. In other words, if you only write "2010," it is up to the listener to investigate it's original release date (if interested) because sometimes you can't find it on the media you're playing. Most of the time the date you write is the same as the original song's release date, but not always.
  5:12am marty:

yeah you got it. and ill mention on air if its a reissue or a comp.
  5:20am (mta) Tony:

Thanks man. In case you didn't know, I'm a regular listener and catch nearly every show. Love them all, Marty.
  5:26am (mta) Tony:

It was very odd before. I was holding Stan's Premium disc in my hand, deciding whether to play it or not. I decided against it in favor of listening to your show. As I put Stan's disc down, you played a track from it. Awesome mental connection!
