Live performance and chat with Chris Koch and friends (R to L: Chris Koch: vocals, guitar; Ian Smit: guitar and soundscapes; Matt Raymond: bass; Steve Meltzer: drums)

Darkness covers Chris Koch's musical world view with a twist of jazz. Which is not to say he's a complete pessimist. There are beautiful moments in the music, featuring members of the NJ outside jazzers Monkeyworks, also heard on his latest disc, "Scenes from the Coastal Evacuation." Chris Koch brought a live set and an interview twist for Irene to WFMU.
