  9:33am gumby:

The thing y' need is this har ginyoowine Certified Sixties Sitcom Star Idinnyfication Kit, fer jist three dollers, and two dollers for th' updates ever' six months. The cullerful bonus wall chart diagram is free. Thumb tacks is five cents each.
  9:47am Hank Kimball:

'Course, you don't HAVE to have the thumb-tacks...I mean, you COULD use finger-tacks...that is, you don't really have to use your thumbs...come to think of it, why not just use tape?...
  9:56am Ralph:

Hire an installer -- a good carpenter who knows how and has a lady's eye for decoration. We could get to it by springtime.
  10:00am Cecile:

What if Green Acres starred Albert Ayler and Gabor Szabo?
  10:01am stuart:

That'd be "Space Acres".
  10:05am Cecile:

It's the place to be! Sun Ra said so.
  10:08am stuart:

Space spreadin' out so far 'n' wide...keep the Solar System, jus' gimme that Milky Way.

  10:35am Drummer Some:

Thanks for bearing with us, folks. I think the hamsters, whose running wheels power the whole operation here, went on strike. We've upped their watercress and 401(k) contributions. All should be OK.
  10:36am annie:

finally here. our internet went out just before nine... oh, the misery!!
  10:40am Cecile:

You have Kins?

Can I download that anywhere? They are the greatest band. I saw them live ages ago. They are such a bittersweet story.
  10:42am Hugo:

That was actually really good!
  10:47am Cecile:

They were a great band. Great live band.

Here is a fantastic article by one of the finest jazz writers in the Midwest, Kim Heron about their story.

It just plain flat-out sucked to be a musician in Detroit/Ann Arbor in the 80s - no matter if you were Detroit techno, hardcore punk, soul, rock, whatever.
  10:48am sugarwolf:

90.1 signal has been out for me since last night. Maybe the hamsters working here upstate froze from the cold?
  10:51am Drummer Some:

Is 90.1 out right now?
  10:54am sugarwolf:

still out!
  11:01am Drummer Some:

Massive apologies. Our "technicians" are "working" on it. No really, they are.

  11:24am Paul Sherratt:

Is that O V Wright with those Hummingbirds ?
  11:26am annie:

doug, will you be here next week?
  11:26am Cecile:

Carm, send flowers. I sent flowers to all my family for Christmas. Easiest year ever.
  11:27am Drummer Some:

@Brother Paul Sherratt
Different Hummingbirds. Lookey here:
  11:27am Cecile:

I like Vince Gill's voice. There, I said it.
  11:29am Paul Sherratt:

Thanks Doug,
Perhaps OV & that Huumingbird lead singer shared the same dentist !
  11:33am Carmichael:

I've seen Vince Gill perform with the Chieftains on 2 separate occasions. He's a pretty flippin' good flatpicker.
  11:42am Carmichael:

Northern Soul! One of my favorite genres. Do you have the Doin' the Mod/Go Go Train comp, Doug?
  11:42am Cecile:

I want to sample that "Yah"! from Stolen Hours.
