  9:35am
north guinea hills:

are the sound sources for this matias aguayo mostly vocal/beatboxesque driven?
  9:38am
jason:

seems like Matias loves vocal samples, this album uses them really well but i think it's got a lot of other sound sources in there too
  9:40am
north guinea hills:

I'm listening w/ really shitty headphones (my old ones just got sucked by the cleaning ladies vacuum while I was out of town), so was just wondering. Thanks.
  10:17am
él-g:

Hello there
I'm lost in the french country in an empty house and that sounds not too bad
there's a 1994 keyboard besides me and I don't know how to approach it so I'm listening to your radio show
Give me some news of the world
Peter Jefferies sounds good
  10:24am
greg:

any info on borneo?at all??
  10:28am
Cheri Pi:

Greg, I was wondering the same thing too, I'd like to know more about Borneo, someone regale me.
  10:30am
jason:

  10:34am
dc pat:

I liked that Easter Monkeys tune...
  10:35am
greg:

  10:45am
Carmichael:

Good morning Jason and music meisters and meistresses.
  10:46am
dc pat:

new Love album huh? Didn't know about that.
  10:47am
jason:

yeah dc pat, it's a "lost album" from 1970
  10:48am
Carmichael:

They're scouring the vaults for old Love outtakes? Let Arthur be, stinkin' producers ...
  10:48am
dc pat:

Arthur's vocals were amazing.
  10:51am
dc pat:

actually Carm, it appears this is an album that was never released cuz of legal shite?
  10:56am
Chris:

That Arthur Lee song showed up on the b-side of a single from few years back. I think i remember something about Hendrix playin guitar on it - but could be wrong.
  11:06am
Cecile:

morning.
  11:09am
Cecile:

You played Black Diamond by the 'mats. Which is OK, but no competition for the mighty version on Alive. You must now play Cold Gin to appease the Gods of Thunder and Rock 'n' Roll.
  11:10am
Carmichael:

Hi Cecile.
  11:12am
Cecile:

Hi, Carm. I can never quite keep a low-key presence, can I?
  11:17am
Carmichael:

That's why I like ya ... :-)
  11:20am
Cecile:

aw, thanks, Carm!
Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?
  11:21am
jason:

i will try to appease the gods
  11:22am
Cecile:

THANK YOU JASON.
YOU WILL BE HONORED FOR 100,000 YEARS.
  11:22am
stingy d:

hey jason! hi everybody! hope thanksgrievings were good evenings. mines was fines. jason, keep your eyes open for sleigh bells. might be your steez. if you haven't already spyed em.
  11:24am
stingy d:

hey! it's declaime!
  11:26am
dc pat:

hey stinj, weren't you talking about some potato turnip dish last year? I just remembered that and wondered what it was..
  11:27am
stingy d:

yea man! mashed topatiz wit turnips!
  11:27am
dc pat:

I gotta try that. just like normal masht potatoes but w/ turnips?
  11:28am
Cecile:

Oh, I made a corn-chipotle bread pudding. Not only was it delicious, but it was frickin' low fat! So good. Now I have leftover chipotles for Carm's dish.
that sounds great, too, Stinge
  11:29am
stingy d:

in other news, cecile, gladys has bitten my face open for the second time. more facial lacerations/scars.... they make me feel like i look cool. but also my doggie gots a screw loose for really real.

yea mash up the potatos and the turnips too, but, i like the turnips to be a little chunkier, so they stand out.
  11:30am
north guinea hills:

Cecile, that sounds amazingly awesome!
  11:30am
dc pat:

sounds bitchin. I heard you can stick cauliflower in it too and it's gooder.
  11:31am
Carmichael:

@Cecile: yes I did, thanks. We ate and drank like Lords. Highlight was mashed spuds with Fontina and Gruyere cheese.

And don't foget to put a jar of salsa in the chicken taco recipe, or the chipotles will do what they do to your mouth.
  11:32am
annie:

my favorite value-added-potato product is celeriac...
  11:33am
dc pat:

cheese in the taters sounds amazing. I just made a leek and potato soup with buttermilk that was like drugs. I'm all potatoes right now..
  11:34am
Carmichael:

@Stingy: news flash, dude. You have a pit bull, regardless of how cute and snuggly she can be. She'll take your ass completely out, just because.
  11:35am
annie:

see, i knew i should have picked up leeks from lucky dog when i was over there....
  11:38am
Jeff from St.Paul:

Oh dip! Tonstartssbandht are on the Free Music Archive!!! Awesome!
  11:39am
Cecile:

ITA Carm.
They are aggressive. That's how they're wired. Even the show Pitbulls and Parolees - the biggest booster of pitties - says that.

It's a matter of training her well. You might need to talk to a pro. People aggression is not good. NOT GOOD. There can't be a third time, Stinge.

I like pitties, but as a first time dog owner would never get one. I'm way too green.
  11:39am
jason:

yeah jeff, theyre also coming to play live on Talk's Cheap in the coming weeks

thanks for the tip Singy!
  11:40am
stingy d:

don't newsflash me. her nose was a marshmallow!
  11:40am
Jeff from St.Paul:

I've been wanting to hear more from these guys for a while. I read their review on www.dustedmagazine.com and have been craving more ever since. Good stuff.
  11:41am
Cecile:

I know! I know!
But I know you'll be able to work it out. You are calm, submissive pack leader, right?
  11:42am
Carmichael:

Ya, you're the alpha dog, Stingy!
  11:44am
Cecile:

Here's the bread pudding recipe.
http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=701125

Never thought I would like something with Egg Beaters in it that much!
I put in more chipotle than the recipe called for, but not much.
  11:47am
stingy d:

yea man. i don't even get angry when she bites me. and she shakes for like two hours after she does it. it's ok guys. my face is still top shelf. and gladys is cool and happy. she didn't bite the babies at thanksgiving, so she bit me when it was over.

next on as the world turns i'm gonna bite off your fuckin typey little lips for disobeying my every command. SIT!
  11:48am
Cecile:

LOL! stinge!
That is very wonderful that she was great about the babies. She's a sweetie. I know she'll shape up.
  11:49am
Cecile:

dcp - can you tell me more about the "druglike" potato/leek soup? My husband could drink that stuff by the gallon
  11:52am
lyle:

DJ Talk's Cheap, I heard that I can hear you spin magical grooves such as these LIVE this Saturday night at 143 Roebling. Just what I heard.
  11:53am
stingy d:

whats lyle talking about?
  11:56am
lyle:

some sort of event at a place called Magicland at above address. Vic Thrill headlining a bill until midnight, when DJTC will take over the dance party!
  11:57am
Cecile:

THANK YOU.
HELL YEAH
  12:00pm
Cecile:

GUITAR BREAK
  12:00pm
Ike:

Yuck, it's the sounds of 100,000 greasy floating balls! This show was great until this last track by these jokers. ;) Cheers Jason!
