Listener comments!

  12:11pm Carmichael:

HI Liz. I really liked that Electric Bunnies track. Thanks for expanding my brain.
  12:16pm CC:

I second the likeability of that EB track. Great set.
  12:20pm Liz B.:

Hi Carmichael & CC, loving the new Electric Bunnies song, too. Their LP is really great!
  12:21pm keith by croatia:

  12:27pm blujacket:

whoa keep it coming, i'm on the west coast and you're making my rainy monday morning something beautiful.
  12:31pm sam of nh:

wow when I was in my first band in high school we used to love to cover Bad Moon Rising and freak out. We were not this good but that was a blast from the past for me
  12:45pm Billy Jam:

this is an amazing track Liz. Good show as always.
  12:54pm Tom:

Cazumbi freak out! Great track and great show today.
  1:02pm ratbone:

oooooooooooh yeah
  1:12pm Ike:

Woo hoo! Fabulous ethio jazz.
  1:23pm dc pat:

wow, was that sweet. (not in a "dude, sweet!" way, but in the traditional sense.)
  1:38pm bw:

LB - I still woke up at 6am this morning in a panic! miss you already -
  1:39pm Jeff from St. Paul:

Anyone have any experience with burning their office down? I am toying with the idea, but need to know the cons.
  1:40pm Liz B.:

Ha ha, wonder how many weeks it will take you to get used to your new timeslot, BWalker...
  1:45pm bw:

man.. i dont wake up at 6 anyother days... hope you can tune in tonight
6pm! I spent so much time focused on the name of the show.. i forgot to make a program!
  1:48pm annie:

bw, i am looking forward to hearing you speak your mind and give me way too much information.. will it be a call-in?
  1:52pm bw:

annie - sometimes it will be a call in.. but not in the near future.. more a call out show!
  1:53pm in due time:

  1:54pm dylan from la:

i really liked the mantles.
  2:01pm Energumino:

I hope you call me BW, I have some things to say.
  2:06pm Jeff from St.Paul:

What does "SJOB" stand for?
  2:10pm Liz B.:

SJOB stands for the initials of some members of Fela Kuti's band who became disgruntled and split after not being paid their fair share (monetarily and artistically).
  2:27pm Jeff from St.Paul:

So is "Indian" the new band name word of choice?
  2:29pm jsf:

this guy sounds like the singer for the residents
  2:30pm bw:

waiting for crystal indian to release the new cd
  2:30pm jsf:

btw.. really enjoying the show Liz.. (I'm at work (for Columbia Univ.) uptown.)
  2:31pm Ike:

"Indian" still might have a long way to go to catch up with "wolf."
  2:35pm Liz B.:

Hi JSF, thanks for checking in from uptown!
  2:37pm Ike:

Oh, and Jeff, re: your 1:39 comment, my co-worker insists that someone here will snap and start smearing... uh, stuff on the walls any time now. You might want to look into that. Less gasoline required, and more creativity is possible.
  2:51pm dc pat:

HOLY CRAP this sounds good--didn't know they did Celebrated Summer.
  2:55pm dc pat:

man that's the best version of that tune I've heard. Never liked the production of the original but the song is one of my faves.
  2:56pm sahak:

totally awesome sets today liz!!!!
  2:56pm Liz B.:

Pat, Bob Mould was on fire at ATP this year and last year (the recording was from 2008). I was really taken aback at how much that man can rock after all these years!
  2:58pm Liz B.:

Thanks Sahak!
  2:59pm dc pat:

clean livin', Liz...clean livin..

I saw him waiting for a bus here in DC couple months ago (I was on another bus going by--not in a car or MAN you better believe I would have stopped to ask him where he was going...)
  3:00pm Dave from Sioux Falls:

OMG! The vibe I'm getting here is like I'm back at U of M hanging out at 7th Street Entry. Fantabulous show.
  3:09pm andrea b.:

thanks so much for tickets, awesome show .
  6:23pm Donkey Flybye:

Liz, I loved the Sun Ra, more again now ok?
  2:33pm Tom Walls:
