JLL and the Possum must have made a deal with the Devil
  1:21pm Scott C.:

Jerry Lee heard that one and said, "Just for that, I ain't goin'!"
  1:31pm Parq:

Did they write a song like that about Keith Richards?
  1:38pm John:

  1:44pm Parq:

D'oh!
  1:52pm Marc Grobman:

The Daddy left mommy for a geisha girl song--one of my favorites! (I have the other copy in existence.) Nice to hear "My Mummy" last week.

Enjoying the show, obviously.
Best, Marc Grobman
  1:52pm Debbie D:

Bravo
  2:01pm Dick Blackburn:

Hey Marc! My copy of "Daddy's Geisha Girl" makes three!
  2:07pm Marc Grobman:

Dick Blackburn wrote (boasted): Hey Marc! My copy of "Daddy's Geisha Girl" makes three!
Marc replies:
Just as I hit the send button, I realized how reckless I was to claim there were only two copies w/o checking with you first! Apologies, Marc
  2:09pm Dick Blackburn:

Yeah, but now I gotta find Ginger and Jean!
  2:10pm Listener Jumpy:

Odd that this Cadillac song didn't make it to the discussion of "Cadillac" in last week's NYTimes Magazine "On Language" column.
  2:12pm Listener Jumpy:

JLL will dance on all our graves.
  2:20pm spazz:

Last night's festivities involved threading up and enjoying Pete Kelly's Blues featuring Rex doppelganger Edmund O'Brien.
  2:29pm D-Bird:

Will this be the year when Rex serves up a Fool's Feast of 'food' forty fives ?...
Think of the possibilities for that menu !
  2:34pm T. Flomaton:

I'll have the fried chicken please
  2:46pm Ghost of Nimms:

I'll have Hot Dogs a la Haze to go-go
  8:46pm Tom Stein:

Goddamn, Rex! Where do you find all those smokin' hot tunes? You must have some special kind of radar!
  8:48pm Chris:

Hot stuff!
Where can I get this Charlie & Clyde record???
I need it so bad!
  8:02pm Matthew:

I love your show!!! Can you get MP3's of Ginger and Gene as well as that Cadillac song???
  5:46am Junkyardjoe:

I saw Jerry Lee a few weeks back in the Grand Rex in Paris, he belted out the piano and considering he's 74 was fairly impressive. He played for around an hour and then he just stood up and hobbled off the stage mumbling under his breath giving out, probably has old man pains. It was great to see him as I never have before so I can confirm he's still alive. Love the show Rex
  4:50pm Forrrest Halford:

Thanks for playing my Dad's record, Skid Row Blues, on the Toppa label.
Forrest Halford
