Nurgle "take a chill pill." Be happy and content like the great Hippies of old. And I'm surprised that Frank doesn't have a TV show by now!
  2:28am Brian Jude:

I should probably put on my glasses... Thought the name was Nurgie!
  2:29am JimSally519:

Yeah Yeah... It's the best 4 hours in Radio. The Rampler! Nothing else keeps me up this late... besides babies. Happy 1 year Frank!

  2:31am Brian Jude:

The cartoon moon makes people act weird...
  2:33am peetyL:

Frank - you're right about the avocado oil chips: not TOO good from what I remember. Peanut oil potato chips though are SENSATIONAL. I remember them from childhood but I don't know if they have them anymore...
  2:33am JimSally519:

I should, you're right Sarje. How come no one else calls in? Everyone should flood Frank with calls tonight, wish him a happy rampler birthday!
  2:34am JimSally519:

  2:37am sarje:

Jim, I just might call in tonight. Hey Frank! HAPPY RAMPLER BIRTHDAY!
  2:37am JimSally519:

I think BillBerry was Huckle BErry's identical cousin...
  2:37am Kit:

Not enough Denmark.
  2:38am JimSally519:

Didn't the smurfs eat snozzzberries?
  2:38am JimSally519:

Denmark is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of government. Denmark has a state-level government and local governments in 98 municipalities.
  2:39am JimSally519:

he most popular sport in Denmark is football. Sailing and other water sports are popular, as are indoor sports such as badminton, handball, golf and various forms of gymnastics
  2:39am sarje:

Kit's right, you must feature the wonders of the Danes, Frank...they did invent Legos....and Hans Christian Andersen, and Aquavit, and Kirkegaard!
  2:40am Kit:

You go, JimSally!
  2:41am Brian Jude:

Sarje - Didn't they also invent the Smurfs?
  2:41am Joshua K:

You should do a rampler behind the scenes at seven second delay's show
  2:41am j. Wiz:

  2:41am JimSally519:

Oh man, I can bearly drink V8... I usally have to cut it with vodka
  2:41am peetyL:

No JimSally: Veruca Salt ate shnozzberries. Not knowing yr Willy Wonka references is for babies (and, I know, Veruca Salt didn't eat schnozzberries she asked "whoever heard of a schnozzberry?")
  2:42am Brian Jude:

Oops! Nope! That was Belgium! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Smurfs
  2:42am sarje:

Brian, I don't think so...but they did invent Troll dolls!
  2:42am JimSally519:

From 2006 to 2008, surveys[5] ranked Denmark as "the happiest place in the world," based on standards of health, welfare, and education. The 2008 Global Peace Index survey ranks Denmark as the second most peaceful country in the world, after Iceland
  2:43am sherri:

willy wonkas fruit flavored wallpaper
  2:43am Brian Jude:

Yes! Troll dolls!
  2:43am sarje and kit:

"Happiness is subjective, they mean contented." --Kit
  2:44am JimSally519:

I think Im gonna move to Denmark now.... and make babies!
  2:44am j. Wiz:

This one time, at Pod Camp...
  2:45am JimSally519:

I drink anything really if you cut it with vodka, V8, or Rum, or spoiled milk, whatever.
  2:45am JimSally519:

LOL Wiz!!!!!
  2:46am Brian Jude:

Podcamp is very cool! I have a button-down shirt of that. Frank's booth was very awesome - very professional looking. Sad that ABM didn't work out. But The Rampler prevails!
  2:46am j. Wiz:

  2:47am sarje and kit:

Jim, Kit says she'll make babies with you, provided you're in Denmark at the time.

Brian, I have a Troll doll in my cube at work! with green hair! -Sarje
  2:49am sarje and kit:

Frank, we've got lots for you here in the playlist! More Denmark and science fiction, please. Gracias.
  2:50am sherri:

blueberry ginger kombucha knocks my socks off!!!
  2:52am kit:

Your lips manufacture oil, and when you start using balm, your natural oil production shuts down.
  2:52am Brian Jude:

Sarje - Nice!
  2:53am j. Wiz:

  2:54am kit:

It makes sense because it's a fact! No idea how long to regen though.
  2:54am JimSally519:

Here's a link to a video Frank did at NYC Podcast 07... isn't google wonderful.
  2:54am Brian Jude:

No humans were harmed in the composition of this song...
  2:54am j. Wiz:

Lip oil is gross
  2:55am JimSally519:

I don;t use Lip Oil... It's for babies
  2:55am j. Wiz:

Woa, Jim. That link is out of control!!!
  2:57am JimSally519:

  2:58am Brian Jude:

Dinges are toppings
  2:58am Brian Jude:

  3:02am Brian Jude:

  3:04am sarje and kit:

We are the VIOLENT YOUTH of the nineties! Yarr.
  3:06am brycepunk:

The woodstock reunion in 1994 at the original site (not the MTV one) changed my life in so many ways. It was... indescribable.
  3:07am Ken From Hyde Park:

I went to Woodstock '94 in Saugerties. Someone stole the rear wheel off my bike and I walked half-way back to Kingston before I caught a ride back into town.
  3:07am kit:

Jeffrey Donovan is so damn hot, oh hell yes, y'all. He stars in Burn Notice, you should talk about Burn Notice, AND DENMARK Frank. AND DENMARK.
  3:08am brycepunk:

Ken, I'm in West Park... 1 mile away. Bummer about your bike. That's a long walk.
  3:09am Brian Jude:

brycepunk - I didn't realize the MTV reunion was not THE reunion!
  3:11am Brian Jude:

Best Joe Cocker Woodstock vid ever - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpjNLjBbVd4
  3:16am brycepunk:

Yeah, the MTV fest got all the press, except locally. The Bethek festival had about 40,000 people at the peak. No official bands, but two makeshift stages, generators powered by donated gas, a bunch of acts showed up and played. Everything was free. Everything.
  3:17am JimSally519:

Google "ABM Show at PodCamp NYC" to see 2007 Frankie's you tubr page
  3:18am JimSally519:

Bleeping swear words always make me giggle!
  3:19am joshua K:

Hey Frank, what do you think of Dan Quayle?
  3:19am JimSally519:

The muppets are real? They evolved from pants
  3:19am Rampler:

Oh yah, that PodCamp video... man we worked so hard on that sign...
  3:20am Brian Jude:

Bleeping non-swear words is even funnier - ever watch Jimmy Kimmel's "This Week in Unnecessary Censorship?" There's a bunch on YouTube.
  3:20am JimSally519:

Rampler. Where is the sign? Do you still have it?
  3:21am JimSally519:

thanks for the tip Brian, I'll hae to look those up tomm
  3:21am Brian Jude:

I think I still have one of those ABM postcards!
  3:21am Rampler:

I do not know the fate of the sign
  3:22am Brian Jude:

Almost om nomming time for Frank!
  3:23am JimSally519:

all signs are are dust in the wind... was that an appropriate redunency... or spelling?
  3:23am JimSally519:

Is the rampler taking calls tonight?
  3:24am Brian Jude:

JimSally519 Look up the "Come and Play" edition - a little disturbing at times, but really funny nonetheless!
  3:24am Rampler:

yes taking calls next
  3:25am JimSally519:

Who would win in a fight, Papa Smurf vs Kermit the Frog? Discuss...
  3:25am Rampler:

  3:26am JimSally519:

Anything you wanna talk about on air... I can do a litle goggling to get my slef refreshed.
  3:28am Brian Jude:

Papa Smurf had magic. He'd kick Kermit's butt without breaking a sweat.
  3:28am harvie:

Hey Fen- i finally made it! Sounds like I am listening to the Woodstock 2 audio you did 20 years ago!
  3:29am sherri:

what did kermit the frog say at jim hensons funeral?
  3:29am JimSally519:

Yeah, but Kermit is like 4 times Papa Smurfs size, that's a lot of frog butt to get through for a little old man
  3:31am peetyL:

Hey Brian - I think the size difference would overwhelm the magic rather quickly. From what I remember, Papa Smurf's magic never stopped Gargamel: it was only used for freeing the Smurfs from him...
  3:31am Brian Jude:

sherri - I'm afraid of the answer...
  3:32am Brian Jude:

peetyL - Yeah, but Gargamel was badass. A clutz, perhaps, but a badass klutz nonetheless.
  3:33am Brian Jude:

Shall we discuss Papa Smurf vs. _________ ?
  3:33am JimSally519:

Gargamel was a cheap fool... I don't know why he didn't just buy some mouse traps and be done with it.
  3:34am peetyL:

Yeah, Brian - but when he got too old, he had to create that boy Scruple to do all his dirty work for him, and all Gargie's experiments blew up in his face anyway...
  3:34am Brian Jude:

Gargamel was very OCD. That was his downfall.
  3:35am JimSally519:

Hulk Hogen vs Rocky... oh wait, they did that
  3:36am peetyL:

Brian, I agree about Gargamel's OCD..."A little pinch of this, just the slightest pinch of that but not too much"...BOOM!!
  3:37am Neal Ireland:

  3:38am Brian Jude:

Gargamel would just NOT let up with the Smurfs. Couldn't he have eaten some chips or something?
  3:38am Brian Jude:

Morning, Neal!
  3:39am sherri:

smurf oil chips
  3:40am peetyL:

Frank is the neo-hippie for a new 21st Century generation.
  3:41am Brian Jude:

Sherri - not as good as avocado oil chips
  3:42am JimSally519:

Vegimite is for Babies
  3:42am sherri:

so true,brian
  3:45am Brian Jude:

Hate to get political here, but I'd be careful of the Obama hype. Listen to the Rampler podcast for a better sense of how the left & right are all part of the same operation...
  3:52am Great Escapist:

Hey Neal, hey FEN, et al.
  3:52am peetyL:

Yep, Brian. Left and right are two sides of the same ideological coin: IDEOLOGY.
  3:52am Joshua K:

  3:54am harvie:

wow-fen sounds so different on the phone than he does on the radio or podcast!
  3:58am Great Escapist:

In 1989, I was at Staten Island supervising the Westwood One broadcast of the 20th anniv of Woodstock.
  3:58am sherri:

is there a pitch shift option
  3:59am Brian Jude:

Getting sleeeepy... Must... stay... awake...
  4:04am Joshua K:

  4:04am Great Escapist:

What's on the T-shirt Frank?
  4:05am peetyL:

JimSally calling in again is for...the purpose of talking to Frank on the Rampler.

for babies, of course!!!
  4:05am Joshua K:

I live in Highland Park now, close to those crazy rutgers grease trucks.
  4:13am Great Escapist:

From Wikipedia; Canada: A federation comprising ten provinces and three territories, Canada is a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state.
  4:14am harvie:

The Queen is also the Head of State of Australia
  4:14am Great Escape:

What-up Havie Krumpet?
  4:16am Harvie:

Contrary to popular belief Australia is not a Republic, but is infact a Commonwealth of states, until 1901 the states of Australia were separate countries.
  4:16am Harvie:

Hey Escapist- how are you?How goes the diving? Recovered anymore bodies lately?
  4:16am Great Escapist:

It's sad, but there are no local coyotes sounding off this early AM.
  4:19am Great Escapist:

No bodies for almost 5 months, but withih the upcoming lobster season... there will be some in OCT. Will be diving in 36 hrs.
  4:21am Great Escapist:

I pay out of my pocket for health insurance. I would not have it any other way. I get the care I need when I need it.
  4:23am Great Escapist:

The Burrito Incident... YES!
  4:25am peetyL:

Noooooo JimSally: Both yr call-in to the Rampler AND yr shout-out to me ARE

(Great Job!)
  4:26am JimSally519:

NO problem Peety! I'm gonna take off to bed soon and listen to the rest of the show. I got a sick puppy Im taking care of and I'm back on "Not let her puke duty" in a few hours
  4:27am Great Escapist:

It takes skill to captivate an audience with monologistic spoken word only. If integrating numerous song play lists... not so much. Good job FEN!
  4:28am harvie:

listening to FEN and cooking dinnner-steamed rice and chilli chicken
  4:30am harvie:

Qdoba from wikipedia "cuedoba" [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qdoba]
  4:31am peetyL:

Oh no JimSally...I hope yr puppy's going to be OK. What breed of pup is it?
  4:32am joshua K:

Chipotle is owned by McDonalds
  4:39am Neal:

  4:41am Scott Crawford:

Man, the best way to listen to this show is in the car, but hello, everyone!
  4:44am Jeffersonic:

Chipotle™ is just wrong, Wrong!
  4:47am peetyL:

Yeah, Frank: I have the same problem at Subway when they don't change their gloves after handling meat from the sandwich before...YUCK!
  4:47am peetyL:

@joshua K Hence their focus on meat...
  4:48am Scott Crawford:

So, how many of you have listened to live Rampler in the car?
  4:48am Rampler:

That's why I don't go to Subway anymore. the glove problem
  4:55am Jeffersonic:

The Laughing Planet, Bloomington, IN has the best vege burritos I've ever had, and a high quality vege menu to boot.
  4:56am Joshua K:

All this food talk is making me hungry.
  4:58am Scott Crawford:

I just got back from the Peterpank Diner in Sayreville, NJ. Just got fries, though.
  5:00am Joshua K:

I work in Sayreville, but don't think I have been to that diner. We went to find it one night and ended up at WaWa cause we got on the wrong highway
  5:00am sherri:

  5:01am Scott Crawford:

Joshua: it's on 9 North just north of the White Castle.
  5:02am Joshua K:

I'm used to northern NJ and western, kinda new to this central thing.
  5:02am Scott Crawford:

But yes, it's almost time for Pinball Corner.

  5:03am Joshua K:

  5:04am Scott Crawford:

This is so F'n EXTREME.
  5:05am Joshua K:

a bunch of buttheads playing chess
  5:06am Scott Crawford:

The security guard totally lures people into broom closets and rapes them.
  5:09am Scott Crawford:

That sip of water sounded like a bong hit.

Next up from the marketing department: "Water for South Koreans With Prosthetic Limbs And Kennel Cough"
  5:10am Joshua K:

I also made a tinyrul a month ago to the ustream thats http://tinurl.com/rampler if you are too lazy to type the word channel
  5:11am Joshua K:

It helps if you get the tinyurl.com part right though.
  5:12am Scott Crawford:

Sounds like the Butthole Surfers.
  5:12am Scott Crawford:

12 golden douches?
  5:13am sherri:

this is incredible
  5:13am Scott Crawford:

Please post a recording of this from beginning to end, with no commentary. =)
  5:14am taylor:

is this nurse with wound?
  5:15am Scott Crawford:

Let's see, we've got the Buttholes, we've got a NWW guess...no one's busted out Puppy, Coil or TG?

Hepzibah was one of the Starjammers in X-Men, yes.
  5:18am Joshua K:

80 Hong Kong dollars = 10.32192 U.S. dollars
  5:18am Scott Crawford:

Hepzibah Sessa is also the wife of Alan Wilder (Depeche Mode/Recoil), but she's not a skunk woman from space.
  5:19am peetyL:

Back from computer problems! How much did I miss?
  5:19am Scott Crawford:

She was in the band Miranda Sex Garden, though, and they were all kinda like skunk women from space in their own ways.
  5:19am taylor:

the national geographic cover holograms?
  5:24am Joshua K:

The Sega game Time Traveler should have started a whole hologram game revolution
  5:26am peetyL:

No, Joshua K: they should just bring back the Virtual Boy. Now THAT was the height of video game technology...
  5:27am Scott Crawford:

We hooked up an Atari Jaguar inside a Time Traveller cabinet once, at Frank's and my old place of business. Holographic Tempest 2000 was AWESOME.
  5:27am dale:

what is this show? why am I just hearing of it now? why am I awake?
  5:28am Scott Crawford:

dale: go to therampler.com and ail will become clear.
  5:29am Joshua K:

relatively clear at least
  5:30am Joshua K:

Theatre of Magic / IPD No. 2845 / March 28, 1995
  5:32am taylor:

i love moist marbles!
  5:32am Scott Crawford:

Oh god yes.
  5:32am Joshua K:

Do you think the air humidity affects the size of your slippery spheres?
  5:32am peetyL:

PBC time!!!
  5:33am taylor:

there's a car themed pinball with a zz top song in it...anybody know the name?
  5:34am Joshua K:

Cosmic Gunfight / IPD No. 571 / June, 198
  5:34am Joshua K:

  5:36am peetyL:

Do the Harlem Globetrotters pinball from 1979...
  5:36am Joshua K:

It also says cosmic gunfight was originally named 'Dragon Fly'
  5:38am Joshua K:

The Machine: Bride of Pin·bot / IPD No. 1502 / February, 1991
  5:39am peetyL:

careful, Frank...this is radio...
  5:40am Joshua K:

Notes: Stephanie Rogers (http://www.hipchick.com) plays the voice of The Machine.
Marketing Slogans: "Here Comes the Bride!"
"Watch Her Turn Heads!"
  5:41am peetyL:

I want to hear the Globetrotters theme...and yes, they are still around. They were on the Bachelorette this season...
  5:42am Joshua K:

Haven't you seen Quantum Leap, it can't end well when you time travel.
  5:44am peetyL:

Yes. Harlem Globetrotters had to play this team of huge robots on the island. If they didn't win, the castaways lost the island or something. This is after they all escaped from the island and came back to it and started a resort there...
  5:46am taylor:

how bout the twilight zone game?
  5:48am Joshua K:

tried finding a good food themed one but only found Diner / IPD No. 681 / September, 1990
  5:49am peetyL:

Yep. There was "Escape from Gilligan's Island" when they escaped and I think they went back at the end of that movie to start the resort bacause they were all unhappy with their old lives before they crashed on the island (times had changed, etc.). The Harlem Globetrotters movie took place at that island resort. It had Thurston Howell III's son, Thurston Howell IV in it. I think he owned the resort...
  5:49am Joshua K:

I had a game gear
  5:51am taylor:

ever think about doing an nes corner?
  5:52am Joshua K:

I have a neogeo pocket, I hardly played that thing
  5:52am peetyL:

I had a computer that hooked up to the TV set and it operated through some sort of cassette tape hookup. It was called something followed by the word "Soft". I wish I could remember what it was called...
  5:53am peetyL:

Do the strawberry peanut butter M&Ms and Sharpies NEXT week, Frank...
  5:53am Scott Crawford:

Joshua: same here, but it's a lot of fun.

Great show tonight, Frank.
  5:54am taylor:

i had the trs-80 color computer with a cassette drive...
  5:54am taylor:

amazing show, as always!
  5:58am peetyL:

taylor - did it hook up to yr TV though, or did it have its own monitor?
  5:59am peetyL:

Frank - I never did tell you - happy 1st anniversary of the Rampler! And many more to you!
  5:59am taylor:

to a tv... with a uhf converter
  6:00am Joshua K:

ramp ya later
  6:01am peetyL:

Yeah taylor- I think I may have had that. Did it have a horse-racing game with all these different colored horses that raced?
  12:00pm Kat77:

so whatever happened to the Danish Pedophile Society? "i'm tired of being forced into the shadows of society" waaahhh wtf is that all about? pardon my non-radio language. hi frank, peetyL et al :)
  12:17pm Kat77:

sorry, it's the Danish Pedophile Association. i think it's a problem. precocious sexuality should be discouraged. an adult is free to make the choice, the child should be encouraged to figure out who they are and what they've brought to the world before giving themselves to another. Any adult who would encourage a child to pursue such a relationship has a warped sense of morality and should realize they are being watched. i'm not the only one sees what's wrong. human trafficking affects and compromises whole nations.
