  9:29am
Parq:

  9:30am
PMD:

Mornin' all... got my swag too, but no 7SD plate!
How cheap *is* this talk?
  9:34am
jason:

i missed it too parq, rubbin it in my own face
  9:36am
Liz B.:

PMD, sounds like something went wrong with your swag packaging, apologies! E-mail me with your name, address and phone # and we'll send your 7SD plate out: lizb [at] wfmu [dot] org
  9:45am
PMD:

Liz, thanks, but Joe's taken care of it.
  9:48am
Laurie:

I'm going to see Dávila 666 play tonight! With the Jacuzzi Boys! They're doing a Florida tour together. They are even playing Ybor City.
  10:05am
C lotta:

Will the live Davila 666 set be available on the WFMU weebsite after it airs today?
  10:08am
Emily:

This is nice!
  10:10am
Cecile:

morning all!
  10:10am
jason:

Yes C, it'll be archived streaming here at wfmu.org and downloadable from freemusicarchive.org
  10:11am
Cecile:

Laurie, that's cool.
Because my FL friends say no one good who doesn't live there does a really thorough FL tour.
  10:11am
jason:

also, after this song, live music from davila 666!
  10:13am
dc pat:

FLA = ugh.
  10:16am
Cecile:

Grass Widow definition:

  10:19am
dc pat:

wow, interesting Cecile-I didn't know you could do that: "..husband (who) will return after a limited period of time away,"
  10:20am
Cecile:

Bad writing.
Basically, it's a woman left alone with a farm or property while the man goes to sea, or war, or a'rambling or whatever.

that's my understanding of it.
  10:22am
c lotta:

Yeay! Daville 666 rules!
  10:23am
dc pat:

right, the a'rambling or whatever is the part I'm interested in...
  10:24am
GP:

This sounds good. It sounds like to are playing on a stage for 1000 people ( hopefully there are more than 1000 listening in) instead of in the FMU studio.
  10:25am
anyone to everyone:

dimelo ya amigos
  10:25am
dc pat:

yeah, engineering is right on.
  10:27am
Cecile:

The guys kick los asses.
  10:29am
beezneez:

Whoa!
  10:31am
GP:

Jason,
<tech geek question here>
What type of console do you use for these live sets, is it digital or analogue? Do you just mic the room or do you have mics on all of the instruments?
Sheesh..o.k., I'll go back to my corner now.
  10:32am
dc pat:

Juanny Truenos!
  10:36am
GP:

It sounds like they are arguing between sets about what songs to play, if so, they are even more awesome, since it seems they can just pick up and play whatever they decide upon......and it sounds good.
  10:37am
jason:

hey GP, good question! We have a multichannel mixing board, so we put mics on all the drums and amps and stuff, and mix live to stereo (usually on a computer, sometimes on a DAT or CD-R)
  10:38am
GP:

Thanks Jason....my tech fix for the day has been satisfied!
  10:41am
Cecile:

Are there four Davila brothers, or is it like the Ramones?
  10:45am
dc pat:

by the way, questions about rock and roll are not, by definition, geeky.
  10:47am
Cecile:

They're playing here Wednesday in September, but I will try and make it.
  10:47am
Laurie:

They are playing Churchill's in Miami tonight with Jacuzzi Boys.
  10:48am
Cecile:

are ya goin'?
  10:48am
GP:

Thanks for the support DC!

Unfortunately, I now have to go to our annual corporate mandated anti-discrimination training. So talk to everyone later.

Great show Jason.
  10:50am
Cecile:

HC and Metal are the Esperanto of genre music.

Give 'em heck, GP.
  10:51am
jason:

aw thanks GP, see ya soon
  11:04am
gbrust:

Jason-
Thanks for having Davila 666 on! Now I will have to check them out at the Thirsty Hippo!
  11:06am
eric / goner:

Amazing set from Davila 666! Sounded fantastic. Thanks for doing it! I can't wait to see 'em again @ Gonerfest! Roberto rules!
  11:25am

  11:34am
BSI:

  11:36am
Ike:

BSI, it's Bryce's fault! Let's cook him and eat him. Yummy!
  11:38am
Cecile:

  11:41am

  11:42am
BSI:

Ike: Is Bryce still cooking up his DRONE ZONE? ... You can never trust human/insect hybrids!
  11:45am
Cecile:

I like Ill a whole lot
  11:51am
Cecile:

Willy DeVIlle passed?
  11:54am
Ike:

BSI, I think so. Or that's what I heard a couple of weeks ago.
  11:57am
Ike:

Jason, you startled me at 9:30 with that Destroy All Monsters track (that was the one where you had to lick the cartridge, yeah?) because my right speaker went all quiet and then I heard all these strange noises/voices that didn't match up with the left speaker and I almost thought somebody was sneaking up on me... hooray! That's the first time WFMU has startled me in a while. At the time, I figured it was intentional, though.
