greetings Rupture and Lamin! just tuning in so missed the intro. plugged myself into a seattle internet cafe. next week, we're back to brooklyn!

Alex:

Best Sunn (or for that matter Earth) thing ever. Sadly they did not play it live this Saturday.
  7:24pm
Listener Dave from NH:

Yeah, this new Sunn album is really solid (but I'm still kinda partial to their split with Boris).

rupture:

curious to see Sunn live! presumably super heavy. OSCILLATIONS

Alex:

Just ridiculously loud. Soundwaves pummelling your body. Very glad I brought earplugs. Also Attila Csihar (Mayhem lead singer) outrageous tree outfit might be worth it all by itself.
  7:36pm
Denton:

Sad to have missed them during their last trip to Chicago. Hopefully next time.

Eyvand Kang's music is always gorgeous. Saw a couple amazing performances years ago - I've always thought your mutual curiosities for ancient harmonies would snap together something new. Some of his works I think are ripe for crafty remixes - "10:10" from Story Of Iceland always spins my head a few times.
