Listener comments!

  10:12pm drew in carroll gardens:

greetings, Stochastic Nation!
  10:19pm G:

Nation Here
  10:24pm drew in carroll gardens:

and what a small but PROUD nation we are.....
  10:32pm e:

strings! strings! strings! yes, 'requiem...' is a collection of music from werner herzog films. this - subotnik - piece - is - amaaaazing.
  10:34pm FMU idiot:

I dont want to be rude, but can I join in?
  10:36pm G:

Yes! It's not zero sum, it's cumulative...
  10:37pm FMU idiot:

  10:38pm Pete:

Cool piece. I was actually sitting next to Morton this time last week in the Issue Project Room courtyard (his wife was performing.) Wish I'd known it then!
  10:45pm ranjit:

is that a khaen??
  10:47pm bethany:

Ranjit, are you using that iPhone app?? I knew it.
  10:47pm drew in carroll gardens:

wow...that Adler piece was mesmerizing...
  10:49pm ranjit:

Is there an iphone khaen simulator?? If so, I may have to give in and get an iphone after all!
  10:50pm ranjit:

...or some sort of iphone ethnic instrument identifier? Hold your phone up to the radio and it says "I think that's a vielle, or maybe a khaen"?
  10:51pm FMU idiot:

Altough I do enjoy the show, I think I may be out of my league on the boards. Maybe not. We'le see
  10:52pm bethany:

Nah, I was joking that you used the app where your iPhone tells you the name of a song if you ask it to listen....but I should know better. Instrument makers have UNCANNY ears and an enormous amount of knowledge about instruments like the Khaen.
PS - you were right.
  10:53pm drew in carroll gardens:

other voices are always welcome in our fugue, just so long as one doesn't get too carried away...
  10:57pm e:
