	12:50pm stingy d: yea they have lots of great stuff going on. sometimes it's whatever, but it's all over the map, so there's bound to interest somewhere along the way. i keep reccomending "i'm so depressed" by abner jay to people. so now i reccomend it to you.

	1:02pm Ike: GP, I agree on Hill Country. It's awesome. And I'm not usually all that big on meat-heavy cuisine. BUT, it's no secret. I tried to take my visiting parents there on Friday night and it was 90 minute wait! Ugh! So we went to a lame Persian place instead... sigh. Sunday we had much more luck at an AMAZING Lebanese place, Kamil's, in Clifton NJ.
	1:05pm Cecile: The overlap betewen Lebanese/Turkish/Greek food is probably my favorite in the whole world
	1:08pm dc pat: It's the Mediterranean cuisine thing which includes some Italian, Spanish, northern Africa. good stuff.

	1:33pm north guinea hills: back in my f-l-a days, i used to wear fluorescent orange totes as socks w/ camo pants and my fluorescent orange bowery electric tee. those totes disappeared in my move up here, and a cat destroyed the tee.

	2:00pm Cecile: they were great. Wonderful stuff. He was very intense and scary onstage, but my friends talked to him, and he was a sweetheart. Both times there were under 30 people at the show in Detroit. This was when I lived in Ann Arbor. Both times, a KILLER version of One Nation Under a Groove, too.
	2:01pm Cecile: She doesn't sound too upset. Now, I will not bug her cause she played Sylvester. The bear can return to its lair.
	2:03pm Pearly Sweets: About eight years back or so I started doing some deep searching for different 80s funk/disco/and electro and they were by far the finest of my finds.

Sunday we had much more luck at an AMAZING Lebanese place, Kamil's, in Clifton NJ.

Both times there were under 30 people at the show in Detroit. This was when I lived in Ann Arbor. Both times, a KILLER version of One Nation Under a Groove, too.
