  12:35pm
Parq:

D, you should make a note. When the time comes, "All I Got Is Eggs" would be a good title for your autobio.
  12:35pm
Cecile:

no good cheese, bread or meat left, stinge?

Hola, gerardo!
  12:37pm
stingy d:

i don't know parq - it's a bit too "ballsy"
  12:38pm
Cecile:

Wouldn't that be a better title for the Octomom's autobio?
  12:39pm
Cecile:

Carly Rabalais. Reminds me of Tiffany Chaucer.
  12:39pm
BSI:

well, shoot. If you don't use "All I Got Is Eggs", I will.
....got a couple of orphan songs that could use a name like that.
  12:41pm
stingy d:

yes please take these eggs away, my infant friend.
  12:42pm
jeroen kuster:

hee liz
the sun seems here and you make my day. thanks

sitting in a coffeeshop yesterday; a couple strolled in to pick up their bread order. the fellow was dressed in dark clothing, black, brown, all dark. except one thing he thought would be secret(or not) he had pink flamingo socks on.
  12:50pm
stingy d:

yea they have lots of great stuff going on. sometimes it's whatever, but it's all over the map, so there's bound to interest somewhere along the way. i keep reccomending "i'm so depressed" by abner jay to people. so now i reccomend it to you.
  12:53pm
stingy d:

aw man! my stupid girlfriend secretly ate a 25¢ bag of chips! i wanted some!! it's fucking OVER

  12:57pm
Dr. Drew:

  12:57pm
stingy d:

dr phil definitely walks into things and bumps his head when he bends over. thats my opinion of that dunce.
  12:58pm
Cecile:

Play some B-52s! The real stuff!
How about "Give Me Back My Man?"
  12:59pm
Dr. Phil:

I resent that resemblance!
  12:59pm
Bill W:

awesome show, Liz, and I really needed it today!
  1:00pm
stingy dangerfield:

no respect i tell ya
  1:02pm
Ike:

GP, I agree on Hill Country. It's awesome. And I'm not usually all that big on meat-heavy cuisine. BUT, it's no secret. I tried to take my visiting parents there on Friday night and it was 90 minute wait! Ugh! So we went to a lame Persian place instead... sigh. Sunday we had much more luck at an AMAZING Lebanese place, Kamil's, in Clifton NJ.
  1:05pm
Cecile:

The overlap betewen Lebanese/Turkish/Greek food is probably my favorite in the whole world
  1:08pm
dc pat:

It's the Mediterranean cuisine thing which includes some Italian, Spanish, northern Africa. good stuff.
  1:10pm
Parq:

I *need* a pair of pink flamingo socks.
  1:12pm
annie:

parq, they were sooo wonderful. i'll keep my eye out..
  1:13pm
BSI:

All I got is flamingo eggs.
  1:18pm
north guinea hills:

i've been digging the near tapes label lately.....

flamingo eggs, in my milkshake...
  1:22pm
dc pat:

ah, I remember the days when socks were of extreme importance--I still have some fluorescent orange and green socks.
  1:25pm
north guinea hills:

ahh, you're playing angel's new ep, very different from his other AAM stuff. that kid hooked me up in monterrey, mexico....
  1:27pm
Parq:

Pat, I'm doing my level best to bring those days back. I've worn out more pair of bright-colored or otherwise eye-catching socks than most jacket-and-tie men buy in a lifetime.
  1:31pm
Sean Daily:

RAWK. Dot matrix-core...
  1:32pm
Pearly Sweets:

I was enjoying printer jam last week during the aunties show.
  1:33pm
north guinea hills:

back in my f-l-a days, i used to wear fluorescent orange totes as socks w/ camo pants and my fluorescent orange bowery electric tee. those totes disappeared in my move up here, and a cat destroyed the tee.
  1:34pm
dc pat:

this reminds me of Man or Astroman and their dot matrix tune.

Parq: Last Saturday I wore my crazy bright block pattern socks and creepers to a bot mitzvah (how ever you spell).
  1:35pm
Liz B.:

It took some resistance to not play that Man Or Astroman track after "Printer Jam"!
  1:35pm
gerardo:

disco time?. great!
  1:36pm
dc pat:

Liz! Do not resist!
  1:37pm
eveley:

I love modern chiptunes :)
  1:37pm
Cecile:

One word. Sylvester. That would make both me and Pearly feel mighty real.
  1:40pm
Pearly Sweets:

Pump it up.
  1:41pm
still b/p:

stingy's girlfriend nicked his bag of chiptunes.
  1:41pm
GP:

Sorry, just back from lunch meeting and what totally sucks is that my soundcard is now acting up.. I can see the playlist but I hear nothing ( problem not with FMU, it is my PC). Will be rebooting here for the 2nd time.
  1:48pm
gerardo:

oh! that droids tracks's from my teens, lol
  1:48pm
Liz B.:

Cannot.... resist.... space.... disco!!!
  1:48pm
Pearly Sweets:

Liz! Seriously play some Sylvester with "Do Ya Wanna Funk?" it'll mix right in so good and then me and Cecile will cheer!
  1:49pm
gerardo:

resist you not... play you must...
  1:50pm
Cecile:

YES
  1:50pm
gerardo:

cecile and pearly happy you make?
  1:51pm
Cecile:

yes, ger-Yoda.
  1:51pm
Cecile:

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSsssss
My sequined caftan spirit guide speaks!
  1:51pm
Liz B.:

Good god, what have I done????
  1:52pm
Pearly Sweets:

Ahhh... that's so nice.
  1:52pm
Jøe Steele:

I should really start using umbrellas.
  1:52pm
Cecile:

*does the bus stop*
  1:52pm
gerardo:

funk time! - wooooo!
  1:53pm
Cecile:

cause it's raining men, Joe?
  1:54pm
Pearly Sweets:

Liz, you are aces. Now join our disco/spacefunk kick line!
  1:54pm
Parq:

I'm not sure either, Miz Liz, but my white shirt and dark blue suit are suddenly reversing colors, and my shirt collar is creeping up over the jacket lapels. My hair! I can't make it comb down!
  1:54pm
Cecile:

you better be dancing around that console. Liz
  1:54pm
gerardo:

dancing should cecile and liz be right now...
  1:56pm
GP:

Whooo Hooo..sound again!

IT did something to my PC while I was away..hmmm
  1:56pm
Pearly Sweets:

Cecile, have you ever heard Prince Charles and the City Beat Band?
  1:56pm
Cecile:

Cybotron, Detroit in the house!
  1:57pm
Cecile:

Pearly, I SAW THEM. Twice.
  1:58pm
Cecile:

Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters. Dollar bills! Hundred dollar bills!
  1:58pm
Pearly Sweets:

You Lucky Skunk! I am mega jealous!
  1:59pm
annie:

liz, it was fun! i just sailed through all this work! and even had a chance to wiggle a dance in, too.
  2:00pm
Ike:

Wow, the board ganged up on Liz! Kinda not cool.
  2:00pm
Cecile:

they were great. Wonderful stuff.
He was very intense and scary onstage, but my friends talked to him, and he was a sweetheart.
Both times there were under 30 people at the show in Detroit. This was when I lived in Ann Arbor.

Both times, a KILLER version of One Nation Under a Groove, too.
  2:01pm
Cecile:

She doesn't sound too upset.
Now, I will not bug her cause she played Sylvester.
The bear can return to its lair.
  2:03pm
Pearly Sweets:

About eight years back or so I started doing some deep searching for different 80s funk/disco/and electro and they were by far the finest of my finds.
  2:04pm
Pearly Sweets:

Did they exhume Dave Blood?
  2:04pm
gerardo:

cecile's right... it was a Force possession case
  2:04pm
Jøe Steele:

To the tubes I go!
  2:07pm
stingy d:

WHAT! fuck that man, i'm doing a show at santos.
  2:09pm
Cecile:

Yes, Cash Money should be way more well known than it is.
  2:14pm
Liz B.:

  2:14pm

  2:27pm
Jøe Steele:

  2:28pm
dc pat:

  2:28pm
GP:

DC..I know he can write some pretty good rhymes. He did that "Lazy Sunday" video with Andy Samberg...so he might be cool to see someday...Chris Cornell..not so much.
  2:29pm
Parq:

It seems that Miz Liz is trying to maximize the culture shock when we switch to quiet music with Irene in a half hour. Joe, re 2:04 post - "to" or "down"?
  2:29pm
GP:

Stingy as long as you and your crew aren't giving Costes a run for for his money..if you know what I mean!
  2:31pm
stingy d:
