  9:08am
annie:

must have been along weekend for many listeners
  9:09am
bw:

gut morgan! Hope you all had a good holiday, it was a looong weekend for me too. Today is the start of online buying so they say.. what are these people buying?
  9:10am
annie:

cheap shit, amazon is gonna have a heyday and ebay too, busy as hell i bet. glad i am not part of that madness
  9:13am
Parq:

Maybe there will be a big run on FMU's "Buy Crap from Our Store" pages.
  9:14am
bw:

thats what I imagine the dude in the papa m comment is buying
  9:15am
annie:

imagine the amount of man-hours lost as white collar buy shit on comapny time.. surfing at the expense of their bosses.. add to cart madness
  9:16am
annie:

i just looked at the pictures you posted! ahhhahahaha
  9:17am
annie:

parq: are you still interested in vinyl?
  9:21am
Parq:

Ben, appropos what you just said:

http://tinyurl.com/dethgift

Annie: Thanks for thinking of me, but I gave most of mine to the station a couple of years ago. Saw a couple of my old 45s on their Ebay auction page. Was quietly proud.
  9:23am
annie:

word up parq.
  9:27am
Parq:

Benjamin, are these pics all from the same source?
  9:29am
bw:

all the pics are from the internets.. but what are they buying?? try to guess!
  9:30am
annie:

telecommunication devices??
  9:32am
annie:

no wait, i bet they are applying for another credit card!!!
  9:33am
Parq:

Wait -- you mean they're *not* buying crap from FMU's store?
  9:34am
Bad Ronald:

Morning folks. I find these pix disturbingly antiseptic. No doubt they're ordering up something sordid and dirty!
  9:42am
bw:

I agree BR - WHY are they all smiling?
  9:46am
detroitdave:

They all got an email stating they won a shopping spree....simply enter your credit card info so that we may properly ID you and sit back and collect your prize!
  9:48am
randy in NC:

It's Cyber Monday!
  9:49am
Bad Ronald:

Good question BW, not sure...

I think the woman in The Sound Of Lucrecia slot is placing an order for another baby!
  9:50am
detroitdave:

The Papa M dude is buying kidee pornography fer sure
  9:50am
bw:

online orphan dot com?
  9:51am
annie:

ben is there a real answer to this conundrum? are we playing 20 questions?
  9:55am
Nick the Bard:

Cyber Monday's been around since at least 2005 that I can remember. Defintly was there last year.

JW Faquahar girl is buying a new pair of legs, 'cause she lost her's in 'Nam.
  9:56am
bw:

thanks Nick the Bard - I hear you are gonna be our Santa!
  10:00am
Parq:

The popsex girl looks like she knows something. And I don't *wanna* know what that family is gazing at.
  10:04am
GP:

They are all smiling because they found your credit card on the street and look, it STILL works!
  10:04am
Nick the Bard:

Yup, and I think the real question is, is the world ready for Santa Bard?
  10:12am
GP:

For those in the U.S.A.: Happy post Thanksgiving Monday to all.
For Those Elsewhere: Happy Regular Monday.
  10:13am
stringent d:

i think its tuesday in beijing?
  10:14am
strangely d:

but thanks gp, same da you!
  10:17am
bw:

heya SD
happy Tuesday in Beijing.. I miss Beijing, are they still building?
  10:17am
Doug from DC:

Is anyone else having a problem with the 128K feed? I can only stream at 32K today.
  10:18am
stringy d:

probably not. world's focus did some serious shifting after the olympics. my guess is they just have not touched anythign since october.
  10:19am
GP:

Speaking of time zones...the best idea yet I have heard from Obama is that he wants to do away with Daylight Savings Time. Is this true or just a rumor?
  10:20am
annie:

doug, sorry to say i have a good stream here. GP_ i would so totally go for that DST thing..i hate that cold war fear-based crap
  10:21am
dc pat:

god, that would be nice. What an anachronistic pain in the ass.
  10:22am
stingy d:

i hate dst! you don't suppose he push the metric system on us do ya? i would love that too oddly enough. god save the queen and all... but feet and inches is too goofy
  10:23am
annie:

and driving through the states that do not observe it will be easier .. not that time really exists anyway.
  10:23am
fishmonkeystew:

I'm waiting for the pics of people looking at the credit card bills......
  10:24am
Parq:

I respectfully dissent. If anything, I would like to see them do away with standard time and make DST permanent. I dunno about you, but I think the world is a depressing place when it gets dark at 4:40.
  10:25am
GP:

LOL FMS..and whats up with all the dudes wearing sweaters (jumpers for those in the UK)? I
  10:25am
bw:

couple shopping!
  10:26am
stingy d:

i think when you go to work should be less important as the amount of time you put in.
fuck a dayligth saving time!
  10:26am
GP:

OH crap..bedhead and white -t...there goes my theory..although.... he might be buying a sweater.
  10:29am
dc pat:

I'm with annie--just do away with time completely...like John of Leyden tried to do.
  10:30am
Ike:

It's still Monday in Beijing -- It's only 11:30 p.m. there. But it's Tuesday in Tokyo and Vladivostok, Russia.

I agree with Parq. DST all year! More light in the afternoon!

No time, no public transportation. No dice. Need trains.
  10:31am
annie:

yeah, i think it only exacerbates the pressure upon us to perform according to the body politic and society in general. get there when you get there and leave when you work is done.
  10:32am
scrounging d:

getting rid of time would rid me of my CPD. so that would be cool.
  10:32am
GP:

10-4 Parq..pick one time or another, but switching back and forth during the year is idiocy. I also like more light in the afternoon...allows me to get more stuff done after work.
  10:32am
caroline:

phew, that song was driving my cat insane
  10:32am
dc pat:

Ike: Nonsense, you're stuck in a time-all-the-time mindset. You just catch a train when it comes since you don't have to be to work at any given time.
  10:33am
annie:

and like in doctor seuss, we could walk around with either "i observe time constraints" to " i am time-free" labels..
  10:35am
annie:

and when you feel the urge to change you flip the sign; making time self-inflicted
  10:36am
ugh:

i watched the zohan movie and tropic thunder - two unrelenting wastes of "time"
  10:36am
Ken From Hyde Park:

Last night for me, the 128k feed went haywire during Professor Dum Dum's show. It'd play 15 seconds of material, then time out. A few seconds later, it'd play the same 15 seconds of material again. At the time, I assumed it was playing the song that way on purpose. This morning, I wasn't getting the 128k feed at all. Using Winamp player under Win/XP.
  10:37am
dc pat:

there would be societies of people secretly attempting to keep time on old watches
  10:37am
stingy d:

meanwhile (i'm ugh) meanwhile... i had the shogun assassin movie from netflix, and nobody cared (lone wolf and cub)
  10:38am
annie:

waaay beyond the walls of our protectionist culture of 9-5 and follow the herd..the safety of ritual..
  10:39am
bw:

I just read the whole lone wolf and cub series last month.. blew my mind.. what an epic
  10:40am
dc pat:

let's just do away with time on the comments. so...First comment!! Woo Hoo!!
  10:40am
Bad Ronald:

I Love John Prine! Great tune, thanks BW.
  10:41am
stingy d:

you can download it on some website in pdf... i remember you posted some of the pages a while back... you read 10,000 pages in 16 "hours" or something
  10:41am
GP:

Thanks Benjamin for the John Prine

Annie...I like that..."I am Time Free"..wearing that label starting now...don' know about boss reaction.

Saw "Bolt" over the weekend
and also watched "Reign of FIre" which is some crazy Matthew McConaughey where he is a modern day dragon hunter. Rest was pretty much college football
  10:41am
bw:

I did read a lot of it over a weekend.. but not the whole thing.. its looooong
  10:43am
dc pat:

First comment! Woo.....ah never mind...
  10:44am
stingy d:

can you play 'time's up' by o.c.?
  10:44am
Andrew:

Love the good Doctor.
  10:45am
stingy d:

or could you play the intro to liquid swords?
  10:45am
dc pat:

am I a bad American for not liking Dr. John?
  10:46am
annie:

you could solve the dark early situation by moving closer to the equator.. DCpat-just not a REAL american..
  10:46am
fishmonkeystew:

Dr. John!! Woo hoo!

I watched "How to Draw a Bunny", a movie about the artist Ray Johnson. Awesome movie, with a coooool soundtrack by Max Roach. Sweeeeet!
  10:46am
bw:

I didn't like him either.. till my fren Tom made me listen to this song
  10:47am
stingy d:

you're only a bad american if you enjoy biopics.
  10:48am
Parq:

10-4, D, on biopics, but I make an exception for Tim Burton's Ed Wood movie.
  10:49am
dc pat:

gotta say this isn't that bad. But I sure love biopics..
  10:50am
stingy d:

ed wood came before the formulaic biopic era. and also... i am fairly certain i did not know i could hate someone as much as jamie foxx at that point in time.
  10:55am
stingy d:

by the way... can someone please hand deliver everything on the soul jazz records imprint to my hands?
  10:59am
The Ladies:

Oh no you did'nt * Egyptian head bobs and finger waving in your face.
  11:00am
Lou:

Are these all the same people?
  11:01am
Bad Ronald:

Hey, is that Michael Rapaport?
  11:02am
uncle lonley:

michael rappaport is my uncle!
  11:04am
Parq:

Whoa. The Flower Power kid is a cutie.
  11:04am
dc pat:

why are things always more funny auf deutsche?
  11:05am
annie:

pat, that's funny; everytime i hear one of them i think the same thing..
  11:06am
dc pat:

and that pop tops chick is SCARY!
  11:07am
Doug from DC:

dc pat, check out: http://www.soundboard.com/sb/German_Cover_Songs.aspx
  11:11am
dc pat:

dc doug: stop, yer killin' me!
  11:17am
Timothy Geithner:

I want those last 3 girls to buy me - BUY ME!!! Economic stimuluscious! I'll accommodate your consumer demand!!
  11:24am
Parq:

The "Sweetness Lies Within" one has that offbeat "babe with brains" look that drives a man so crazy. Jeez, are we a bunch of guys or what?
  11:26am
dc pat:

yeah, I think we're making some folks uncomfortable. Let's change the subject--just look at the Mac that barberries woman is using!!
  11:28am
annie:

bought and sold by the images, the sellers win!!!!
typical men? we look, too. only issue i have is the pics are all of attractive fit wealthy people.. images, images..of consumerism.. it's ok DCpat we'll get over it
  11:28am
stingy d:

i was out out of town for since thursday... and it hurts to come back to ny and realize how you can't go 8 seconds without seeing a gorgeous woman - it's mindboggling... just to be a classic dude and everyhtign
  11:28am
bw:

thats it with the photos.l. can't believe that one matched up with the song
  11:29am
Parq:

Yeah, I like the black laptop in the mavi septet girl's lap. Snuggled nice and close and warm in her lap. Uh, wait, let's try that again . . .
  11:35am
dc pat:

OH SHEEET! I forgot to drink coffee!!! bye.
  11:40am
Pajak:

Looks like the tykes on the amber alert shoot just stumbled upon daddy's favorite website!
  11:41am
Parq:

Benjamin, *perfect* closing picture. Trying to imagine what those kids are viewing, our thoughts range all the way from the prurient to the salacious.
  11:43am
SueB:

that's what you get for accosting a single woman in a parking lot.
  11:44am
SueB:

looking at the pics - i was NOT smiling as i Cyber-Monday-shopped this morning. those people must be loaded. or rich.
  11:44am
bw:

it was on the street!
  11:49am
SueB:

ah, ok. she sounded just as lame as i do when refusing a begging person in Newark. 'uh, i gotta catch this train' "uh, how do they release you without $ to get home?"
  11:58am
stingy d:
