Hey! Thanks for playing Listen with Sarah. I love her stuff. She works for Womb Records, who put out some Ergo Phizmiz among others.

Is this the 2% of rock? Or the 98% of plasmic entropy?
 8:54pm
Dave M.:

Yeah, this is the plasmic entropy portion of the show.
 8:56pm
ADM:

Great. Exactly what I need after a hard day's work.
 8:58pm
ADM:

Actually, I'm sitting in the Houston Public library, and there is a guy nearby that seems to have some plasmic entropy in his throat.

kurt gottschalk:

what classical music did the who play? i can't place it in my head.
 9:07pm
Dave M.:

It's on the Who Sell Out CD. Maybe Night on Bald Mountain?
 9:10pm
kurt gottschalk:

ah, according to the wikipedia on high:

"Hall of the Mountain King" (Edvard Grieg) (previously unreleased) – 4:14

is on the sell out reissue. i have that, but only listened through once or twice, having most of it memorized for most of my life already.

always nice to hear that pretty things...

Ben:

Compliments on the Ewa Demarczyk earlier, she's always fantastic.
 9:14pm
Dave M.:

Ah, right. Hall of the Mountain King. Similar bombastic stuff. About ten other bands did versions of Night on Bald Mountain.
 9:27pm
Dave M.:

Thanks, Ben. I only discovered her pretty recently.

Mark:

Dave,

Only caught the past 40 mins - but sounds great as always...
