Listener comments!

  9:08pm Art:

what was that first song right after Gaylord went off mic? Family Tree? Loved it!
  9:11pm Art:

Oh, I got it. Parade.
  9:13pm Joe Mulligan:

that Tape album is amazing. getting lots of airplay but DJs kind of ho-humming it on the back announce!
  9:19pm Art:

Tape seems rather prolific. Did they really release 3 albums so far this year or are some of those reissues? Anyone? Anyone?
  9:24pm bethany:

Yep - all Tape albums have been current when released. I don't know about the other djs, but I've always enjoyed what I've heard. Previously I played the track "Beams" from this album.

Maybe I'll do a set of faves later in the show....
  9:35pm Joe Mulligan:

about the Tape releases: Opera was from 2002, Milieu was their second release in 2003, then Rideau in 2005. the first two were re-isseued at the same time Luminarium came out, a month or so ago.
  9:40pm Art:

Thanks, Joe. I was beginning to feel really lazy. Great stuff.
  9:44pm joe mulligan:

get 'em if you can, I missed out on the reissues!
  9:46pm joe m:

wow Bethany, what a great show you have! I always enjoy your picks.
  9:46pm john:

wow, this stars of the lid piece would be stunning even without a couple bottles of cough syrup...
  9:47pm Art:

I'll have to settle for the un-collectible MP3s from eMusic... Bethany, thanks for the Stars--I'm moving to Austin in three weeks.
  9:52pm dave:

boy howdy do i love stars of the lid. what art said: thanks.
  10:06pm Ryan:

This Masaoka/Jeanrenaud piece reminds me ot Kiyoshi Mizutani's field recordings. Hello from sweltering LA. Love the show.
  10:51pm guest:
