Listener comments!

  8:00pm
Sean Daily:

First comment! Woo hoo!
  8:02pm
jason:

Ah, The Inflatable Boy Clams. Even better at 33 1/3. Try it, you'll like it!~
  8:06pm
Scott:

Oh, right on Jason! I especially go for "Skeletons" slowed down - yeah, you're right the whole record kinda begs for it.
  8:12pm
jason:

'Way back when I was doing radio...' at KCSC in Chico, CA we played that record at the wrong speed for a while until someone realized it was a 45rpm.
  8:12pm
bryce:

gino vanelli! scott . . .
everything's cool, right?
  8:17pm
Jeremy:

Jason, when were you at KCSC?
  8:18pm
Scott:

Not when I play it, Bryce! I wonder what would happen if you played Gino Vanelli on your show....
  8:19pm
jason:

from Dec 1986 to Jan 1990.
  8:19pm
bryce:

i was just worried, that's all
  8:20pm
Jeremy:

Ah, I would have been too wee to listen to it then. I grew up in Paradise, though.
  8:23pm
barbarella:

scott--whuts cookin?? how are you enjoyin the spring weather so far???? i love it!!!!!!! PEACE-LOVE AND ROCK & ROLL!!!!=)=)=),,LOVE YA
  8:25pm
jason:

Paradise, the home of Mr. Fluffy Foot carpet cleaners!
  8:29pm
Jeremy:

...and meth fiends.
  8:35pm
John Murphy:

Scott:
That whole starwars set is sort of lazy.
  8:35pm
dave:

... bad pie.
  8:38pm
Scott:

Oh, good point John Murphy, next time I just won't do it, just for you buddy.
  8:41pm
Joan McMurtry:

Scott, that whole Coming to America set was kinda lazy.
  8:42pm
Tom:

Something Cajun would be nice now ,,,, en Francais of Cause...
  8:47pm
dave:

is that william basinski?
  8:47pm
bryzonksy:

basinshki bazernskyy beuzouki bashonsky
  8:49pm
dave:

i love william basinski's shortwave music thing. i keep meaning to pick up the disintegration loops, which i think was reissued in some form recently.
  8:52pm
Scott:

goddamn, how I love the disentegration loops! And I also really love Chop Shop's "Oxide", in a similar vein - check it out!
  8:54pm
dave:

WFMU's music recommendations bankrupt me and make me happy. i hear and obey.
  9:09pm
jason:

Wow, Gino Vanelli AND Missing Persons! You are wonderful Mr. DJ. Thanks. I'm gonna go grab my Terry Bozio wig right now!
  9:09pm
Mike:

mental hopscotch keeps popping up in my life. such a great song, wish I still had that EP....
  9:11pm
Scott:

You'll find it Mike. Jason -- you've got A TERRY BOZZIO WIG? I wanna know you.
  9:14pm
ratbone:

anabelllllllaaa!
  9:17pm
brendan:

scott do u have a patch?
  9:22pm
Lupica:

Scott, this whole Harold and Kumar go to White Castle set is kind of lazy. Bozio in '08.
  9:23pm
jason:

Well....I have a very high forehead (more like an eight-head) so it fits very poorly. In fact no one would think of it as looking like Terry's hair. Circa 'Baby Snakes.'
  9:24pm
Some Guy:

Yeah...Terry Bozzio was the drummer and he was married to Dale Bozzio who was the singer. More likely that Dale would have a wig than Terry would.
  9:27pm
Heavy metal:

is the law.
  9:28pm
Scott:

Oh, that reminds me! I forgot to concede the point that, ummmm.... Joan McMurtry made. I wasted everyone's time with "Coming To America", particularly mine, and I'm very sorry. I stand behind the "Star Wars" and "Harold & Kumar" things tho because, well - you just have to commit.
  9:31pm
melee:

mike, the whole recurring comment thing is kinda unindustrious. please feed me raw tuna now.

Droll:

Sorry -- I'm tuning in late. Looks like "Eye Theme" night. Don't forget The Residents King and Eye album. Don't Be Cruel?
  9:33pm
jason:

This is terrific. I love this Helloween cut and it reminded me of the the previous Monday 8-11 DJ and lo and behold! It seems as though he is posting here and now! Hi Mike.
  9:34pm
efd:

i just saw Scott running down the hallway, and his eye looked OK to me.
Just sayin'.
Of course, I was about 15 feet away.
  9:36pm
Scott:

Evan, that wasn't me!! You don't think I'd be making shit up, do you??
  9:38pm
jason:

Hmm, sounds like what efd saw vs. your eye...I against I. Got any Bad Brains?
  9:40pm
Scott:

Aw, y'all are making this too easy for me! Don't worry, Im actually kinda prepared tonight - I've got more eye songs than I can shake a ... never mind.
  9:47pm
Droll:

You've got two eyes -- I'm thinkin' Sequel! Final Eyes, Yes. Eye Know, De La Soul. Pink Eye (on my leg), Ween. Third Eye, Tool. Eyes of Cydona, Impossible Recording Machine... Eye'd never guessed you could get two shows out of "Eye"!
  9:49pm

  10:12pm
Scott:

Hi phat - Stench is outta Omaha, I'll try to post some bio info on the playlist comments later (like maybe tomorrow); i don't know much though. Also, Wildildlife is this major metal trio outta San Fransissy (their word, but I'll take it). Metalheads with excellent record collections and some righteous chops & riffs. As mentioned in the playlist, they'll be on Brian's show next week. And I'll second the shout to These Are Powers, while refraining from saying anything not-nice about a post-Pat & Ron Liars.
  10:14pm
Bill S.:

OK. I made that last one up :-)
  10:18pm

  10:23pm
scott:

What, you think 3:58 isn't long enough for me to come in there and rearrange your own personal rorschach, Davies??!
  10:33pm
Bill S.:

Goodnight Scott, great stuff...and you can laugh at me all you like - glad I could help!
