Via Ken's show on Friday and then the archive (one of the best inventions of modern times), I came back to it and Maria this morning and am very grateful to be reminded of ALL her Day for Nights; the musical choices, the breaking-glass/lapping wave sound effects, the throat-clearing. In spite of our increasingly networked lives and the atomisation that goes with it, very real impacts and bonds forged by music are still possible. Hallelujah. And if it's true (and why wouldn't it be?) that Maria herself gets notified every time someone like you, someone like me, leaves a comment here then maybe that answers your final question. And if you ARE reading this Maria: Hi! It may be decades later but you still sound ffffresh ;)
