Listener comments!

Sean Padilla:

OMG I LOVE THE ELECTRO GROUP!!! Thank you SO MUCH for playing "August." It's my FAVORITE song off their new album.
Sean Daily:

Second comment! Woo-hoo!

Is this Carlos Icaza now or does that start later? Sorry if you already explained. Just tuned in.
Liz B.:

This is me right now, Jessica... sorry for the confusion. Carlos' DJ set is coming up in about an hour.
Sean Dead:

is it true that you have to be named "sean" to listen to this show? and is it true that as a toddler (age 18 months thourhg 4) Devandra Banhardt's hippie mommy fed him magic mushrooms and tied headphones on the impressionable lil fella's head playing T-Rex's catalog on repeat for 18 hours a day? The poor little thing!
north guinea hills:

oh yeah, my favorite bobby conn song. saaaaaytan!
Sean Daily:

Of course you don't have to be named Sean to comment on this show! WFMU welcomes names of all creeds, colors and nationalities, from Sean to Shawn to Shaun!

Charlie *must* stay, if only for his singular annual kick-off of the Marathon finale.
Shaun of the Meds:

Parq, forget the marathon finale, doesn't Charlie always kick off the entire marathon?!?! Love your show Liz.
Miguel Infante:

Hey liz.. I'm listening your program today, hello to las comadrejas from mexico.. I'm Miguel, I met u in NY at the record fest,, Remmember me ?? Well great you invited this guys, hope they can mention some other groups that are going on here in the experimental underground thing, like Los Musicos de Jose and some more. Any way I'll be sending you some more stuff soon, I'be been bussy, but love your program all tha time and tha way u dj it.. Because u r very simple person, and music is always great.. Kiss...
Liz B.:

Hi Miguel, good to hear from you! Thanks again for turning me onto Nuevos Ricos, Silverio, Aux Raus, etc! Looking forward to hearing more of your selections!

hi, to las comadrejas, listening from Monterrey, i'm happy u are in wfmu, hugs!
Miguel Infante:

Concerning to what the're sayin well, tha thing is that here in our country society is still in a conservative way of living, in all ways i mean, we haven't still been taught to cuesestion our own culture in order to change the old paradigms of understan culture and how can this change without loosing our traditions.. Our models are still very stiff but however there's always people (few) that try to do those little changes in order to express art. Like painters like Diego Rivera, Siqueiros, and filmakers like this nwe generations that's going on, and music to, but changes take time, specialy after having a goverment model that last for more than 100 years or the catholic system that has controled many peoples mind .. Maybe tha us has more people that do underground music, 1st. because it has 200 million people, and 2nd because they have money to back up this ideas, 3rd, it's some kind of media like wfmu that goes for that, but eventhogh this happens there still many many americans just listen pop music or country music and live in a very conservative way, maybe because of the protestantism model or tha system.. Ok too much words.. jeje..
north guinea hills:
