Listener comments!

  8:38pm timotato:

Maxi Geil doesn't sound like Bad Brains to me it. It sounds like an emotional David Thomas (Pere Ubu) sitting in with Modest Mouse.
  8:57pm Zach in Philly:

Yeah, the tv's broken and now we HAVE to listen to the radio -- hahahaha.
Watts 103rd St. Rhythm Band into King Kong, get down on it. What a treat!
  9:41pm Irwin Chusid:

Would just like to state for the record that, vis-a-vis a comment Mike made on the air around 9:20, I'm the guy who dissed X in an email. In response, Mike called me an "asshole" and accused me of a "hipster move," about which, as a septuagenarian, I can only confess: I'M FLATTERED! I may be old, but I can still do the math required to post these comments!
  9:46pm lupica:

Irwin, you are the king of the hipsters. That LCD Soundsystem song is totally about you.
  10:23pm pamela:

Thanks for helping me out on a Monday night. Will have to listen to archives of your show (I normally just listen at work) Loved the Fems. though sounded like David Bowie?
  10:25pm lupica:

Cool, thanks Pamela! But I think that was Hubble Bubble that had the Bowie vibe goin' on.
  10:33pm WIllie Marmalade:

goddam! you werent kidding last week about liking Joe Walsh.......good one Mike!
  10:39pm lupica:

Thanks for the vote of confidence Bil...er, I mean Willie. I'm still trying to confirm whether or not the video for that song featured Joe answering a fish as though it were a ringing telephone.
  5:34pm cerabella:

Yeah, we're at the end of times, culturally. Add television to the signs. Wonderful VH concert flier from 1976. Two fifty for 5hrs of continuous music, with VH the headliner? That was smart money.
  6:25pm pete in LA:

Fleetwood Mac dammit.
