Live performance by Kenny Young & the Eggplants (Kenny Young, vocals, guitar; Gil Shuster, bass; Eddie Logue, drums, percussion)

Claiming to be from Brooklyn (but perhaps from another galaxy altogether), Kenny Young and the Eggplants are known to some loyal WFMU listeners as the band that recorded such Greasy Kid Stuff hits as "Earl the Squirrel," "Space Frog," and "The Search for Eggplantis." Their new album (entitled "Arrr!"), which explores what transpires when a pirate radio station is run by actual pirates, contains several more tunes heard on various WFMU shows, including "Rage Against the Washing Machine," "Curtis Mayfield's on the Moon," "Lushy the Grouse," and "Double Bubble Day." They played live in WFMU's love room.
