Listener comments!

  10:24am steve-o:

Nice Jersey City picture. Is it the love or the toxic waste that makes it glow like that?
  10:58am joe nathan:

my day could only have been made better by hearing "a change is gonna come"--preceding small factory, no less.
may you live a thousand years.
  12:10pm Zach in Philly:

I just had that feeling this morning that there was something to look forward to today in spite of logic lumbering to the contrary. Upon hearing "Lemon Isis" and "In the Court of the Crimson King," hope dawned without a crack. After hearing "Standing in a Trashcan (Thinking of You)" and "Jailhouse Rock" and seeing The Legendary Stardust Cowboy and Judy Nylon, squinting forced a smile. Fantastic!
  12:56pm kr:

awesome. first use of playlist-comment is to rip on Jersey City. That's really great. Ugh.
  5:56pm whyme:

Listening via the archive and following along via your playlist. Added photos are a nice touch. Thanks for the time and effort Mike.
  2:23pm mike lupica:

Irwin reminded me that it was Sam Cooke's birthday, so he should get some (and only some!) of the credit for that one. "Court of the Crimson King" is used to fantastic effect in "Children of Men" -- a great movie with a strange prog-rock subtext that I'm still trying to sort out in my mind.
  2:26pm Uncle Mel, Pori Finland:

Excellent tunes by Stardust Cowboy & Charlie Feathers!
Cheers!
  4:52pm krokus:

The only radio station website with a picture of broccoli. How could anyone not love Mike, WFMU, and closeups of cruciferous vegetables?
